Anyway, I was looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer graphic novels. Specifically Season 8 which happens to be the canonical continuation of the TV series. It's no longer published by Dark Horse Comics, and I wasn't about to pay the crazy prices for the ones listed on Amazon. I couldn't find them at first, and had to ask. The store is full of all kinds of comic memorabilia including action figures and games. It was a little overwhelming until I asked specifically where it would be. I was led to a shelf full of Buffy. I found quite a few paperback volumes that I was missing, and they were reasonably priced. They are also having a 30 year anniversary sale this month. I was able to get 30% off the graphic novels. The staff was also friendly and helpful. It's just a great place to get those hard to find items.

This is a cute shop to go in if you're in the market for anything anime. Umm never had this issue between the Citrus and Premium Outlet locations since it's the same freakin store! But whatever. Took her stamp card from this location and hopefully the others will honor it. Also 4 stars because the girl at the register was just not friendly at all. The anxiety of starting the wrong book can keep me from purchasing one. All on me. I am weird. Nothing new. I digress... Two things about this location that is off for me. The first is the layout. With the size of the store it makes sense. Having shelves in the center of the store makes me feel like I am in a labyrinth searching for the Goblin King, unfortunately. Secondly, where is the cafe? The plan on both visits is to grab a snack either for the children or myself to keep everyone happy while exploring the bookstore. That isn't possible if there is no cafe. Sad face. 09.06.2025
