I brought my 9 month old Bernedoodle last week for a grooming (which includes a wash, cut and nail trim) and was left with a completely buzzed dog. I never asked for any dog to be shaved down to the skin. I asked for my dog's matted hair to be cut and the rest of her fur to be trimmed. If that wasn't something that would be possible, a phone call from the groomer would have been appropriate to ask for permission or options for the grooming. Instead, I was left in shock and disbelief when I picked up my dog. I couldn't even recognize her. See photos. I spoke with both the groomer, Cameron, and the manager, Jenny, and was met with resistance. Not only did they not express any remorse for the services provided, they were both adamant that I agreed to have my dog buzzed because of the matted hair. To "remedy" the situation, they authorized a refund of 50% as I was unhappy with the grooming service but my puppy still had a wash and nail trim. I was baffled by the utter lack of compassion for the horrible customer experience they have provided and wish no one else will ever endure what I went through. Also, I did ask for information from the manager on the owner of Town and Country and was told it was her mother. Therefore there was no other option but to write this review.

Do not go here!! I can't say I have ever had a bad experience at a vet until the last 3 times we've…read moretried Grace Park - we just moved to the area and were looking for a new vet. It's common when you go to a vet that you have to spend more than you were anticipating, but Grace Park coyly takes this to the next level. We saw the good reviews here, which is why we chose it, and both times we went, we had issues with: 1) being quoted much less than the actual visits were, 2) extremely rude front desk and management, 3) not kid friendly - was treated disrespectfully for having my baby with me, and even had a pest control rep spraying pesticide right in front of my baby inside, and 4) excessive wait times (40 mins once until we saw vet, almost 30 mins the next time, and another almost 30 mins the last time): Here's a little more about our three experiences: - I brought our dog and while the vet was very kind, I felt pressured to add in vaccines and treatments that I have never had at previous vets, and waited almost 40 mins to even see the vet. I let them know I was breastfeeding her mom who needed to get home to my baby and they showed no empathy despite running late. The vet was the only one who acknowledged running behind. - When we got home from our first visit, I found a lump on our dog tail. I didn't feel that the overall exam was very thorough. When our cat was sedated, they didn't trim her nails or brush her like previous vets always did voluntarily. - Our next visit, we were told it could just be a vet tech appointment, based on it being vaccines, but when we arrived, they charged us $129 each for each of our pets. During the exams, they said our cat needed a tooth removed. They quoted us over $1000 for the removal, and when I called them before scheduling the tooth removal to walk through the bill, there were quite a few things on the tooth removal quote that seemed extraneous, so I had them take them all out. My husband dropped off the cat for the procedure, and they told him the vet needed to speak to him, so he waited almost 30 minutes despite this supposedly being a quick drop off, and when the vet finally came out, they said that they would need to give our cat fluids (never had a vet do this, she hadn't drank in just 8 hours) and also potentially do some radiographs, which might be added back into the quote. We were never told that the IVs would cost $150 extra and we asked to be called about the radiographs. We were never called and when I showed up to pick up our cat, the bill was almost $300 more than the $500-$600 we were anticipating. Alex, part of the administration there, came out, and after reviewing the situation and listening to me, he apologized and took the two fees off the bill. He also said the manager Diane would follow up to see if there's anything else she could do, but he had done everything he could do under his authority. This whole process again took almost 30 minutes. Diane called me a few days later and was extremely rude. I had my kid in the car with me and I could hear her huffing every time my kid interrupted. She was extremely cold and just blatantly said we owed another $128. She told us we needed to pay for the IVs and radiograph. Never before have I've been given a discount on a bill that was incorrect in the first place only to be called back and told actually you need to pay this amount. When I told her what had happened with Alex, she told me that simply did not happen and threatened to send me to collections! She said she had camera and video footage she would be reviewing. What an absolute waste of time for both of us - granted this is over $100! I would strongly not recommend going here if you want to ensure you get a fair bill, not called back and told you owe more money and otherwise will be sent to collections, and if you don't have time to excessively wait to be seen. Also, if you have kids, I cannot reiterate enough how incredibly rude my experiences have been.

Now that I have two pups, Hounds Town is their favorite daycare and the only place they'll stay for boarding. Playgroups are smaller in size than some of the larger corporate daycares, which is nice, and they have a mix of indoor and outdoor yards--all temperature appropriate! We love that we can book a family suite for the pups to have a sleepover since they're used to staying together. To break me of my sometimes helicopter mom habits, they do not have cameras live streaming, but they do take pictures and videos and post them daily to a private Facebook group. At pickup, I always get updates on how my two goofs did, so I know they're in great hands. Now, my once nervous pup is thriving and her ears perk up when I ask if she wants to go to Hounds Town. After her first sleepover, she even kissed staff goodbye! Adding a few pictures of my happy pups because they're cute and also as a testament to how much they enjoy going :)

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my experience with Dogtopia's handling of my adopted dog during multiple visits and boarding stays. Across these interactions, I observed repeated communication inconsistencies, a lack of transparency regarding incidents, and increasingly unprofessional conduct toward my pet. Records show staff provided conflicting explanations about my dog's behavior and condition. At times, I was told my dog was "great overnight," while at other times staff described him as "grumpy," "snappy," "overstimulated," or involved in behavioral incidents. There were also discrepancies regarding the cause of my dog's limp and paw injury. These inconsistencies created confusion and concern regarding the accuracy of incident reporting, staff supervision, and the overall handling of my pet. Communications frequently came across as defensive and dismissive of my concerns rather than providing clear, professional, and collaborative updates. I am concerned my dog was unfairly labeled as aggressive while staff simultaneously acknowledged he was placed in overstimulating and crowded environments without access to calmer accommodations. This raises concerns that environmental management and supervision may have contributed to the reported incidents. Additionally, some staff communications became excessive and distressing, feeling accusatory and intimidating rather than compassionate or solution-oriented. As the owner of an adopted pet, I expected consistent, professional care and respectful communication. I respectfully request the following actions: Conduct a formal review of how my pet was managed while in Dogtopia's care. Review staff communication practices and incident reporting procedures for consistency and accuracy. Provide clarification regarding the conflicting explanations concerning my dog's injury and behavior. Ensure fair and professional treatment for all customers and adopted pets, free from bias, intimidation, or unnecessary escalation. Take appropriate corrective actions to improve transparency, accountability, and customer relations moving forward. This complaint is supported by documented text communications from Dogtopia staff describing the incidents, behavioral assessments, injury explanations, and subsequent interactions. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and request that this complaint be formally documented and reviewed. Sincerely, [Redacted] Supporting Notes From Communications * Staff initially stated there were "no issues," then later reported aggression and overstimulation concerns. * Conflicting explanations were provided regarding the source of my dog's limp and paw injury. * Staff acknowledged the playroom was unusually busy and that calmer rooms were unavailable on certain days. * Repeated behavioral accusations were made while also acknowledging environmental overstimulation and lack of separation options.
