We wanted to get away for two nights in an area that we just moved to and didn't know anybody. lazy days was prompt with responses to all questions more than friendly and Cooper absolutely loved their large fenced in yard and playing with her dogs. I don't think he wanted to come home when we got there to pick him up. Can't speak highly enough as these dogs are our family And we want nothing but the best for them and we feel like we got the absolute best in care for Cooper . We got text messages throughout the weekend with photos and frequent updates letting us know how Cooper was doing. This is a fantastic small business, and I would recommend them to anyone. We will see you guys again soon thank you for being amazing In a crazy world!

There is a nice outdoor area where they could walk around when they wanted to, but mostly they enjoyed the love and attention they got from Terri and her family. As an added bonus, my girl doggo had gotten a skin problem a couple of days before I was to fly out. Fortunately Terri has experience as a vet tech so I knew she was in good hands. I got nice pictures of my two being spoiled!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!!!!!…read more I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but I had to rate this horrible place in order to leave a review!!! My wife and I boarded our puppy Teddy-Blu here for 1 day (Thankfully) and it was a complete nightmare. seemed a bit sketchy compared to what they'd advertised but the young lady at the front desk made us feel a little better and said they would send pictures. I also never received pics. Fast forward, the next day we were scheduled for pickup at 7:00 PM. My wife and I arrived in the parking lot at 7:01 PM. I left my purse in the car and went back to get it and it was now 7:02 PM. We rang the bell and nobody came to the door. The lights were on but the door was locked. We waited outside for about 10mins thinking the staff may have been assisting with the other dogs but nobody ever came to the door. Shortly after, a man walks across the yard through the gate, and we immediately began telling him that we are here for a 7 PM pick up for our puppy. He stated, he is only a groomer, and cannot release any of the dogs, or he could get in trouble, so I asked him for an emergency contact number which he never provided. He also stated there was an issue last week with a drop off. my wife said she saw him inside speaking with someone but they must have been hiding in the back office as we looked through the front door. The groomer comes back, tells us we have to come back tomorrow, which we were highly upset about. 1 we wasn't leaving without our puppy & 2 we just drove six hours to get back in traffic and we work early in the morning the following day. We just wanted our puppy. The groomer, then attempts to go back inside to find a number and while we're sitting in the car and we could see him through the window grabbing his bag to leave while speaking to someone inside. I could clearly see he was speaking to someone in a black shirt & he comes out and tells us to come back tomorrow as the lights turned off. I then asked who were you talking to inside and he stated she's not coming out! At that point I became livid and contacted the local police department at 7:26 PM. I explained to the officer what was going on and mentioned that I had proof of the 7PM pickup - he stated even if you were a few minutes late, they should have given you your dog. He also stated that he was 15 to 20 minutes out and he was on the way. While waiting on the officer, the person in the office walked around the back and into her home, never came to the door . Once the officer arrived (7:50 PM), the groomer had left already, and my wife and I were still sitting outside. I immediately told the officer that the owner lives next-door and the officer got in his car and drove next-door. We could see someone looking out the window, as the cop knocked on the door. A man and the officer walked back through the same gate, the groomer came through. The man began to look through the windows, turn the doorknob and ring the bell (the same thing that we had been doing for the last hour). All of a sudden the lights mysteriously came back on inside the pet hotel. A lady finally answered the door, which was Lisa the owner wearing the EXACT same black shirt I had seen her in through the window. She then asked the cop how she could help him and the officer stated ma'am these people are here to pick up their puppy. She stated, we close at 7 PM and the officer said ma'am they've been here since 7 PM. (Why have a 7PM pickup if you close exactly at 7????) She then stated, oh one of the dogs were sick and got diarrhea all over me, I had to jump in the shower so I locked the door at 7 o'clock (which was our pickup time), as we stood outside for an hour & were told to come back tomorrow, twice! The officer basically made her give us our puppy, we paid the remaining balance and left. Once we got our puppy, we noticed he didn't seem himself. He was extremely dehydrated, antsy and cried the whole way home. Once we got him home, he immediately went to the bathroom and he was starving. They had removed his collar for some odd reason & he was extremely dirty. When we went through his bag, we noticed that they had not fed him after I clearly filled out their detail form with the exact times he needed to eat (last meal was supposed to be given by 6:30 PM - 30 mins before our pickup time) and we even pre-bagged each meal to better assist the staff. So yeah, do yourself a favor and run the other way!! They are not feeding these animals proper and they make you pay more for VIP rooms and play time when in reality, they keep them caged up all day and one cage isn't any different from the other. This was our FIRST and LAST time boarding our puppy. What a horrible experience, and the worst customer service ever!! Especially from the owner (Lisa) herself. She was very unprofessional, and her attitude is disgusting!!

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my experience with Dogtopia's handling of my adopted dog during multiple visits and boarding stays. Across these interactions, I observed repeated communication inconsistencies, a lack of transparency regarding incidents, and increasingly unprofessional conduct toward my pet. Records show staff provided conflicting explanations about my dog's behavior and condition. At times, I was told my dog was "great overnight," while at other times staff described him as "grumpy," "snappy," "overstimulated," or involved in behavioral incidents. There were also discrepancies regarding the cause of my dog's limp and paw injury. These inconsistencies created confusion and concern regarding the accuracy of incident reporting, staff supervision, and the overall handling of my pet. Communications frequently came across as defensive and dismissive of my concerns rather than providing clear, professional, and collaborative updates. I am concerned my dog was unfairly labeled as aggressive while staff simultaneously acknowledged he was placed in overstimulating and crowded environments without access to calmer accommodations. This raises concerns that environmental management and supervision may have contributed to the reported incidents. Additionally, some staff communications became excessive and distressing, feeling accusatory and intimidating rather than compassionate or solution-oriented. As the owner of an adopted pet, I expected consistent, professional care and respectful communication. I respectfully request the following actions: Conduct a formal review of how my pet was managed while in Dogtopia's care. Review staff communication practices and incident reporting procedures for consistency and accuracy. Provide clarification regarding the conflicting explanations concerning my dog's injury and behavior. Ensure fair and professional treatment for all customers and adopted pets, free from bias, intimidation, or unnecessary escalation. Take appropriate corrective actions to improve transparency, accountability, and customer relations moving forward. This complaint is supported by documented text communications from Dogtopia staff describing the incidents, behavioral assessments, injury explanations, and subsequent interactions. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and request that this complaint be formally documented and reviewed. Sincerely, [Redacted] Supporting Notes From Communications * Staff initially stated there were "no issues," then later reported aggression and overstimulation concerns. * Conflicting explanations were provided regarding the source of my dog's limp and paw injury. * Staff acknowledged the playroom was unusually busy and that calmer rooms were unavailable on certain days. * Repeated behavioral accusations were made while also acknowledging environmental overstimulation and lack of separation options.
