The first service call was…read moreperformed a week or two ago, but I was consulted about replacing a part that still worked, which I chose not to, although the units parts were still under warranty. He could have replaced them for the service charge but didn't and what do I know about air conditioner parts? Then, shortly, this is in June, the early days of summer. another AC failure on a Saturday night. Calling in a service request was met with a full mail box. I called first thing Monday morning and wasn't able to talk to somebody for 30 minutes for the service call which didn't arrive until late in the afternoon, where it was pronounced the part another part had failed, and that he would get the previously injured part to replace that too. The part he did replace cost $192, for a unit guaranteed for 10 years (still under warranty). By the way, you don't get to see the invoice until you pay it. He returned Tuesday and replaced the previously injured part, charged $160 for the service call, the system blew cold over night and failed the next morning. He came back the next day and replaced the dryer, and charged me $569.00 (not itemized although a dryer was replaced) for almost a couple of hours work, tops. Well comes the following Saturday night, and it failed again. The same tech did all this. He is rude, his pants hang down below his ass, he was speaking to some woman on cell in speaker mode almost the whole time he was working, and to justify the price he said to the effect that I live in a nice house and he lives in a shack; is that like white privilege or something. I don't know. I guess that Bart has retired and is no longer involved with the company or the market allows for bad service and he just does not care. I requested a working AC on the system I purchase 7 years ago whose compressor was already replaced once and I pay a semi annual fee to be maintained. The quality was trash, and there was no value in being inconvenienced, and the astonishing claim from that technician that he as performed a valuable service for the value of the money I paid. I pay for protection, but the providers are incompetent.

We were with several other AC companies...ALL OF WHOM over-sold us on products we didn't need…read more(because they worked on commissions!)...and their products were not even installed properly. This company does NOT have their employees working on a commission basis...and they are extremely honest as well as very knowledgeable. On one of my properties in St. Pete, the technician took pressure readings on a unit that was frozen--due to the tenants running it at 67 degrees in June. Later that day, the technician returned and "charged" the unit with Freon. However, during a follow-up inspection nearly two months later by a different technician, no leaks were found in the line set or coils, and the pressure readings were still normal. This was particularly troubling given that the unit, a Carrier system, was installed just 10 months prior with a full inspection. I initially chalked this incident up as an anomaly. But then it happened again. At another property in Tampa, I called for a simple condensate line flush, and once more, I was told the unit might "need" a Freon charge. This was absurd, as the unit had been functioning perfectly, holding temperature with no issues for months. When the rep called to discuss diagnostics, I made it explicitly clear that the conversation about Freon was premature and unnecessary. Yet, within minutes, they called back with a quote for a Freon charge. I agreed to discuss the matter, but at no point did I authorize the charge. Despite this, the company proceeded without my clear consent. Momentum was quick to provide recordings of subsequent calls to argue their case, yet suspiciously reluctant to share the initial call, where it was clear I did not approve any Freon charge. After years of entrusting Momentum with multiple properties, it's disheartening to see them resort to such deceptive practices. They are personable and persuasive over the phone, but it's clear they are taking advantage of their customers. I can no longer recommend Momentum, and I urge others to proceed with caution. ** UPDATE 3/24/2025** I strongly advise against doing business with Momentum. Recently, I discovered that they sent a fake invoice to a collections agency, which included duplicated charges that I never authorized. What makes this situation worse is that Momentum never contacted me directly about these additional charges, and instead, the next thing I knew, I was being contacted by a collections agency about an invoice that had already been paid. I have the original invoice that shows everything was paid in full, and yet this company still attempted to charge me again and escalate it to collections without any prior notice. I am now dealing with the repercussions of this error, and I have been forced to take legal action to resolve this situation. Momentum's lack of communication and disregard for accurate billing practices is unacceptable. I highly recommend that others avoid this company to prevent similar issues.

Great service, great people, great experience…read more Blower motor on my Trane unit died. OEM price from 4 other estimates was over 2x what Phil quoted me. Middle of June on a tight budget and I didn't want OEM parts, I wanted aftermarket parts. Nobody else would even discuss what they call a "rescue motor". Phil quoted me right away on a rescue motor without even asking if I wanted OEM and installed it the same day. I felt like the other guys were up-selling me. I knew what I wanted and I knew what the general differences were in parts. They ran into some problems with my electrical too, but the quote remained the same. Phil and his crew were super polite and friendly. Seemed like they enjoyed working together, which leads me to believe Phil knows how to treat people. Employees and customers. Great experience and I'll be using these guys from here on out for my AC needs. Definitely give them a call.

I will caution you up front - they WILL be more expensive than pretty much anybody else you get a quote from. That being said, whatever you need done, it will be done correctly. And while I'm all about shopping around for the best price, when it comes to my air conditioning unit, I'm just not willing to look for a bargain. I've gone that route, and lived to regret it. The satisfaction of knowing my A/C unit will work properly the entire year and many years in the future is worth paying a little extra for.

I had a very disappointing experience with 3HAC. I originally scheduled an AC maintenance…read moreappointment, but on the day of service, after waiting 4.5 hours with no communication at all, I finally received a call saying the technician would not arrive until another 2.5 hours after my scheduled time window. I was understanding about the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week after being promised I would be the first appointment of the day to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was just as frustrating. With only 15 minutes left in my 8 AM-1 PM appointment window, I still had not heard from anyone and had to contact the company myself. Instead of accountability, I was given excuse after excuse about why the technician did not arrive first as promised. I was even told their internet was down, which was supposedly why nobody contacted me. The lack of communication and reliability from this company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down a business for updates on scheduled services. The only positive part of my experience was the technician himself--he was professional and did a great job. If he freelanced, I would absolutely hire him directly in the future. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service and repeated scheduling issues, I will not be using 3HAC again.

He recommended the Daiken units that would provide all of our needs as well as both return modifications and registers. He was concise and explained fully his recommendations. Kevin Igoe followed up with us if we had any questions on the quote. He was diligent and we felt no high pressure tactics whatsoever. We believe them to be a very reputable, reliable company. Ultimately we went with another firm because our General Contractor had worked with another firm and since many things are going on simultaneously, the right course of action in our case was to let our GC control all work being performed.
