I love Cooky's!!! First off Cooky is a total character and absolute treasure. Her son Robert, well that Apple didn't fall far from the tree. They are great people and they will entertain you if you are chatty and friendly. Cooky's shop is filled with current fashion as well as Vintage clothing (downstairs is a must visit for that). They mostly have ladies wear but there is lots of menswear too! They have household items, some furniture pieces and their jewelry case is to die for. I don't leave her without something. Preferably vintage as her selection is top notch and reasonably priced. If you find something great you know you're not finding it anywhere else. Gruff service and not a place willing to accept any of my Josef Ribbcoff brand new garments. I've lost a lot of weight and these are garments in perfect condition with original tags attached. The owner looked at them as though I had brought her trash. Not a true consignment shop. read more

Caveat emptor! Been visiting this consignment shop for about a year. Always enjoyed going and very disappointed, crestfallen, to have to write this review. Yesterday, 12/16, I finally opened up my wallet after a year of feeling the place out, and I will never shop there again. My daughter and I bought a dupe of a YSL Cassandra bag and we believed at the time we bought it, that it was the real deal. And though it IS kind of going for the price a person would pay for a dupe, maybe $50 too much, my daughter was not buying the bag understanding it WAS a dupe. When she tried to return it, she was told Cooky's is not in the business of authentication, is not licensed to do so, and so....CAVEAT EMPTOR. No return. Is that a line, or what? We worked with Robert's mother, and she has always been welcoming. We really loved her, we trusted her, and looked forward to seeing her. Not anymore. So ask yourself, why risk all that goodwill? Cooky's has so many more great things to offer in their store, that if they want to do dupes, why can't they disclose that their dupes are just that? Dupes. There really was a trust factor going on here.... AND, we were duped. read more

Absolutely horrendous. I dropped my stuff off and have had to call in every couple of weeks. They keep telling me different stories and dodge my calls. I have filed a police report for stolen property and have lost thousands of dollars of designer items. Please don't make the mistake of coming here. read more

Came to my house and did their routine. Bought a few things with the handshake promise of coming back the next day. Robert actually took apart a chandelier and never came back to take it down and buy it. They say they don't need anything so they pay very little. I feel ripped off and probably was. I recently found this thrift shop and can say without reservation that if you are like me and enjoy looking over other people's stuff, including clothes, furniture, knick knacks ,household items and jewelry, you'll love this place! The proprietor, the original owner Cooky's son, Robert is very affable and friendly and strives to give you good value for your dollar. He will even, if asked , offer design advice and actually goes out of his way to see that the merchandise he sells is worth the price.i actually enjoyed chatting with him and now have another go-to place to peruse household items as well as clothing items at reasonable prices. I have never been in a more uncomfortable situation, besides being overpriced and rude to customers this owner, I think his name is Robert , was practically yelling at his mother (who is elderly), right in front of me. He is a nasty condescending rude person and I really think he needs help! I would strongly advise against shopping there. Very disappointed with this store and the people who own it. Robert came to my grandmothers house to go through my grandfathers stuff who has passed away. He was with us almost 3 hours and then took a few things and never got back to me. My father went to the store to pick up what he took. I actually thought this was an honest place but I was wrong. And I also came to find out some of the things he offered me $20 for are actually worth thousands after I went to a jewelry store. I guess I cant rate them no stars but I would if I could.
