Please read the yelp and Google reviews. This is the worst pest control. You are better off going to lose buying some thing yourself. They are over price they do not respond to service request and pest remain. I've called several times trying to schedule a follow up for my home as the pets are still present, I'm transferred or told that a tech will contact me. Spoiler alert the text never ever contact you. Do not waste your money. I will say this the first tech that came out was Amazing and very thorough. That is the only reason I am giving them one store otherwise it is a -1,000,000 star! I just wanted to THANK Mandy online with this AWESOME review. Mandy was on time and began her work to rid our home of little critters. I have another name for them but will not say it here. She started at one end and sprayed and sprayed and she vaccumed the critters away. We couldn't be happier with her work. GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE. If I could give this particular location a zero score, I would. For the third month in a row our technician has not showed up like he was supposed to. The first month his truck broke down on the first day. The second day the truck was fixed but he turned into a ditch and could not come. After calling the office in Rex, GA to find out what was going on he finally showed up. The next month (same technician) did not show up again to service our house, like he called to advise. I had to contact the office in Rex, GA again to find out what the problem was this time. I received a call from the regional manager and he was helpful. He did advise he would have someone out to service our property the next day and that did happen as scheduled. I requested to have another technician service our property but that has not happened as I am still having issues. For the third month in a row, I received a voicemail from the technician close to 9:00 PM stating he would be out tomorrow to service our location. Just like the previous months, he did not show up. He called that evening around 8:30 PM and left a voicemail stating, unfortunately he was not able to come out and service our location, etc, etc, etc. As of 5:50 PM today he has not showed up or left me a voicemail with yet another excuse. At this point I am looking for other pest control options. I cannot continue to auto-pay for services that are not rendered when scheduled. Also, I do not have time to call and track down the technician every month which is what I explained to the Regional Manager last month. As a consumer, I would advise you to look for another option before you decide to use Cook's Pest Control. read more

Called Wednesday morning three weeks ago because I had an ant infestation. Stressed that I had cats and ants were getting into their food and they couldn't eat and they were also inside my dishwasher and I needed service ASAP. Was told someone would call me. Got a call late Thursday afternoon and the tech told me that he could do it on Friday afternoon and he would call me Friday morning. I was told to don't ask for after 4pm and that "everybody asks for after 4pm" and he couldn't do it then because of rush hour traffic. Friday morning came and went no call. A week later Cook's came into my neighborhood and serviced my neighbor who I referred to them. He told them that I needed service, they passed right by my house didn't stop. So two weeks later I get a call from the tech that he would be by. Called the next day and cancelled my service as well as blocked their numbers. Had used Cook's for over 15 years as well as referred them to others. On their website they mention how long they have been in business, but with their slow to non return of calls, ineffective insect treatment and general CUSTOMER NO SERVICE, they will not be in business for much longer. read more

I don't use Cook's and I won't. I just got home after driving for a solid 20 minutes behind a guy driving a Cook's van while he barely managed to go 45 mph, if that, on a 55 mph road. I thought it might be the vehicles in front of them but as they turned off of the road along the drive, the guy driving never sped up. There's numerous signs along Hwy 36 with the speed limit posted. Driving under the speed limit is as illegal and dangerous as speeding. read more

If I could ZERO stars I would! I've had their services for over a year! I had two complaints after 6months because we still had the same issues i originally called them out for. They said they would make it right so I gave them another chance. A few months pass and the normal guy doesn't show when he should have, another guy from a different location came to service my house and was shocked when I told him we had services with them for almost a year, he informed me that there's no way we should have the ant problem that we do if it had been service properly and that I should call the main office and complain which is what I did I told him that I wanted to cancel my service so I could find a business that could do the job that I need them today. A new guy called that I guess was taking over for the old guy didn't show and that apparently wasn't taking care of my house like he should've been and talked me into giving them a third chance. I told him that it was the last chance I would give them and that I wasn't going to pay for the last two months because I wasn't receiving the services that I had been paying for he agreed that I shouldn't have to pay and told me that a manager would be calling me in the next few days. Nobody ever called and I never paid the bill because he told me not to worry about it because the manager said he would take care of it. He called back the next month to come back out and I told him not to come out because nobody ever called me and I still got a bill wanting payment after he told me that the manager told him I wasn't gonna have to pay that. He told me once again the manager call you, a few weeks go by in a woman from the office calls asking for payment .. I explain to her that I didn't have to pay and went to detail about all of the issues I had with their company she said that she would have the manager call me too... No one ever called. The guy who services the house called once again and told him that no one ever called once again! He assured me that he would talk to the manager himself that day and someone will call me back by the end of the day. No one ever called the following month the lady from the front office called me again asking for payment and I told her that I spoke to her or another lady in the office the month before and that I was told that a manager would call and for the fifth or sixth time no one called and then I was told I didn't have to pay the bill so that I wasn't going to. Today I open the mail and they have turned me into financial services for failure to pay him after I was told multiple times that I didn't have to pay because of the poor job they did at my house. To say I'm livid would be an understatement. read more

If it was possible to give less than one star I would. My husband went in for an interview at their Rex location and wasn't even given the time of day because he has tattoos and gages in his ears. I thought we were past the days of stereotyping based on appearance? I don't understand who would care how he looks, the pests that you're controlling? I can't speak on the way they do business because we weren't even given the chance to experience that. I just wanted to share in case anyone tries to work for them. If you look a certain way, just be prepared to get turned away at the door. Hopefully things will change so this doesn't happen again, but we will never use this company and we will never recommend it to anyone due to the poor way my husband was treated this morning. Best wishes to the guy who turned him away, maybe it was you personally, maybe it was the company, but either way I pray you become a little less close minded. read more

I believe that this firm engages in fraudulent business practices. They consistently overbill and then only if called sugget that the overbilling was an oversight and offer to remove it. Please stay away from Cook's at all costs. read more

I signed a one year contract, 3 months in I noticed I haven't seen 1 dead bug, in fact I saw more ants and 2 roaches. I called and was trying to very reasonable and get out of my contract. I was not asking for my money back, I just wanted out bc I lost all confidence that they could actually kill bugs. I thought they let me out of my contract without a fight but then my card got charged again a month later. I called and they said they wouldn't let me out, I had to pay the rest of the months on my contract. Even though they didn't come one month and they didn't kill one single bug. Please Please don't give these horrible people your money, they suck. read more

My experience with this company has not been pleasant. I scheduled an estimate and somehow ended up in a contract. My husband was there during the initial visit but informed me that the pests we were trying to be rid of, the individual that was providing the service stated that they did not have anything for that. What kind of business tells the customer what they cannot do, instead of telling them what can be done. After the first 3 weeks, we still have yet to see any change; as a matter of fact, the bugs have gotten worse. I am trying to get out of the contract and going with a company I know works. read more

I canceled my contract in September 2015 because I was dissatisfied with the service. I had ants coming in my home even though they claimed to have treated for them. Right after I cancelled, I saw the Cooks truck outside my home...I questioned why they were there as I had canceled my monthly service and was told they had to check on the termite baits they had installed. A couple of days later, I had an huge cockroaches coming into my home. I highly suspect that Cooks put them there during the so called check. I still received bills every month and had to repeatedly call to tell them to stop the bills, however in January 2016, I got a threatening letter from a collection agency. Once again I called, this time speaking to a manager. He promised me the billed would stop and that my service was canceled. The next day another Cook's truck was outside, but I didn't see when he arrived. I went out and asked him why he was there and what was he doing to the ground outside my home. He said he was uninstalling the termite baits. I called the company and was told that the termite baits were rented by me, even though I paid $599.00 for the termite service. Not too surprising, but very upsetting, I started to see roached and ants in my home, when there was none before the unexpected visit. I still got yet another bill even after this! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IF YOU CANCEL, THEY WILL BRING BUGS TO YOUR HOME, I GUESS HOPING THAT YOU WILL CALL THEM AGAIN TO GET RID OF THEM! OR JUST TO SPITE YOU BECAUSE YOU CANCELLED! read more
