Do you LOVE cooking, but not have the time, need more instruction, or hate the cleanup? The solution to spark that joy of cooking and learn the skills to really make dishes that wow are right here in Cookology. I consider myself in advanced home Cook, however started coming here because my baking skills could use improvement. I took the baking Boot Camp and let me tell you that class was beyond fun! It made something that I dreaded, baking, into a superpower. The instructors here are great with all levels of cooks. You learn practical skills and get the instructions so that you can do the same thing at home. I've made the cookie, pastries, and bread recipes at least half a dozen times and my family can't get enough. In four hours each Sunday, I learned so much, had a blast the whole time. Met new friends. Never had to clean a bowl or utensil. Brought home a ton of food. Highly recommend! I've tried cooking classes elsewhere, and nothing compares to the wonderful instructors, quality, food, and ingredients, and learning of skills that you can actually take home because you measure everything, prepare it yourself and cook it. I've started taking other classes here and Lovett! It is a fun thing to do as a couple, by yourself, and it all started out with giving myself a gift of doing something I enjoy without the hassle!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Cookology. I tried to enroll my child in a certified chef-in-training class, but I lost my part-time job after making the initial payment and had to withdraw him from the class. After contacting the manager, Cookology generously offered my culinary-loving son a free week of cooking camp. I was moved to tears when they shared the fantastic news. Thank you so much for helping keep my son's culinary dreams alive despite my financial difficulties.

My fiancé and I came for date night and Chef Troy and Gloria were professional, effective, and fun instructors! We cooked rockfish, fingerling potatoes, and a lemon tart. The space and ingredients were well-prepared and they paid a lot of attention on safety, knife skills, and cleanliness of the table. We then ate the meal together with the other couples attending and had wonderful conversations. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back!

Booked here for an anniversary cooking class with my bf. We flew into town the same day as the cooking class, and were super excited to try it. But that ended up being the extent of our excitement. I opted for this particular class because it's one of my favorite cuisines, and I eat it weekly. (Piri piri shrimp, Jollof rice and beef suya, also banana fritters) It is located within the mall, so that was helpful as I also made reservations somewhere else for after. Luckily it was literally doors down Now back to this place. We walked in and the host asked if we had reservations and I advised we do. She told us to go down the hall and that was it. As we walked down the hall, there were a lot of classroom type entrances and doors. So we were not sure exactly where to go. So we just hoped for the best. We eventually confirmed we were in the right room after about 10 minutes. Very unorganized. We were informed two of the patrons who paid would not be attending, which was fine with the group because we had more room to maneuver. But unfortunately they ended up showing up 1/2 through the class, and that took away from the time of those who showed up on time. The chef was busy trying to catch them up and teach us, and everyone's meal was burnt and barely edible. We walked into a kitchen and there were tables with our ingredients underneath. The food was room temperature, so I am not sure how long it had been sitting out. Quite sure it probably wasn't a safe temperature & that explains why our stomachs were in shambles the following days. The shrimp, all we did was "marinate" in coconut milk and minimal seasoning. We grabbed saute pan and cooked the shrimp & the chef already chose to pre make the sauce ahead of the class. (Was not happy about this) the sauce was very very sweet. 3/10 The beef suya was nowhere near authentic. It was not thinly sliced beef with dry-rubbed spices. The chef had us cut them in chunks as if we were making kabobs. The marinade for the beef suya & the actual meal were disgusting. There was no mixture of nutty, smokey, and spiced. It was pretty much peanut butter beef that was overcooked by the chef (we did not get to cook our own skewers) -133930/10 The jollof rice was a joke. There was no tomato base nor traditional spices and chilies. Chef Troy told us to follow his instruction carefully yet the entire class burned the skimp amount of onion provided for the rice. The whole kitchen smelled burnt and was smoked out. 1/10 Banana fritters The direction for making these were lacking. He just said scoop some in the oil and flip it. He didn't advise us how, how much, for how long, no example of how they should look. I give an extra star because we figured out to make them ourselves 2/10 The chef had a punch he made for the class that he advised had liquor in it, but it was lacking. He did say we could order more drinks for a charge but he would be the bartender so to take it easy on him. Since the mom and her young son came late & needed a lot of attention, I opted out of ordering additional drinks. I left a message regarding my experience and haven't heard anything back, definitely feel a refund is owed. Overall it is absolutely not worth the money. You can buy the ingredients and watch YouTube for cheaper in the comfort of your own home. Definitely do not travel for this like we did.

    Cooking area and butter chicken

We took the Indian food class and everything we made was delicious. Most of it was nicely prepared ahead of time, but there was still plenty to do yourself which made it fun. My butter chicken turned out delicious!

I recently booked a private team-building event at Cookology and it was such a great experience! We did their "mystery basket" experience where you have 60 minutes to plan, prepare, and plate a meal (similar to the show Chopped). I was so nervous at first, but Chef Mark Chang was so friendly and VERY patient with my group's various cooking skill levels. Everyone has a blast and we plan to do another team-building event like this again in the future!

    California Roll (sushi Rolling class)

We attended a popular sushi rolling class. In attendance were pairs and singles. The chef was Mark and he was a really fun and active instructor. The space was cozy and prepped for our class. There is a kitchen area and a nice dining area. Cleanliness was evident. Our first task was to wash hands and wear the provided aprons. There are 2 small sinks in the back. Tip: there are 2 additional large sinks behind the chef Station. You can use those too. Chef Mark provided instructions and background info. He prepped some simple items like the miso soup and the sushi sauces. Instructions would be emailed to us. Working with my partner was so much fun. We learned quite a bit and can't wait to test it out at home. The art of sushi Rolling is no easy task but Chef Mark provided many tips. The sushi rolls were so tasty and based on the size you rolled, there was plenty to take home. After the class, we had an opportunity to dine on our creations! There was a small glass of wine offered. I thought it was weird that the host offered me what was left in her white wine bottle (a taste) but never came back to offer to fill my glass.

We have never done a cooking class before. This one was amazing! We did a Lobster Mac & Cheese dish with Caesar salad and a lava cake. All of the food was delicious. Chef Patrick was amazing and I would go to any class he teaches. He is very knowledgeable and experienced but really takes the time to explain his techniques and guide you through each step. He made the whole class fun and it was a really great time with a great meal at the end. Highly recommend and we will be back for a Chef Patrick class!

I can't say enough positive things!! We had a wonderful team building experience with a beautiful guide through the process. Our team had nothing but great things to say about the event and I'm so glad we did this! Our chef was the right amount of pushing us but also guiding us so we ended with fantastic meals! Will DEFINITELY return!

We got lucky and had a small class (4 people) so our chef, Chef Ed, gave us each individual attention.

Her style is really approachable, and she tries hard to offer tips that will stay with you when you're cooking at home. I've learned so much from her: I use old T-shirts to dry my meat, I never salt my potatoes before roasting them, I crank up the heat real high to roast chicken, and I make my pizza outside on the grill. She has helped me expand my food horizons and feel comfortable experimenting in the kitchen.
