So we came here to celebrate my friend's birthday party. I will admit the establishment was amazing. It was clean and she was well prepared. HOWEVER, while the establishment and materials were of quality, the owner/host was did not have that every this particular night. I am not sure if it was just a bad night for her on because it was a Tuesday (when she's usually closed) that made her have a bad attitude. Our guest arrived 15-20 minutes in advance and while the start time was not until 7:00pm, she was very snappy with turning our guest away and telling the the event did not begin until 7:00. Her demeanor was not inviting nor friendly. They waited in the car and did not feel comfortable entering until the birthday girl arrived. At 7:00 when we entered, while we were all in a good mood, we felt like we were walking on egg shells when it came to using her materials or asking questions. We couldn't grab our own choices of doormats. She said this was her policy, but how she convert that was of poor taste. Again it wasn't what she said, but how she said it. I will be honest and say tried to fix her attitude during the explanation of directions, however we could feel her irritation. Her communications and expectations were not properly communicated. Hence why she was annoyed by how we were using the paint... not to her liking. You were to put it ON the doormat, NOT on the table paper. She never said that. We all have bad days, but in a business where hospitality and a welcoming demeanor is necessary to keep your customers coming back or making referrals, that energy needs to be minimized as much as possible. She didn't say we had done anything and even the birthday girl's mother-in-law said she think she just had a bad day. I gave her four stars because our doormats came out great. Also while she attempted to change the trajectory of her attitude and we ultimately had to make our experience what it was and for the most part we all enjoyed eachother. I'll likely be back, because I believe in supporting Black Women always. I pray my experience when I go back with other is better. I believe in her. read more

I attended a DIY throw blanket workshop with one of my good friends on 1/4/2025. We walked in about 9 minutes late and as soon as we walked in the owner stated "You need to get in where you fit in and I am not starting over and won't be helping you". She didn't even say hello...and furthermore we walked in with another group of people who were also late. There was an elderly lady amongst this group and the owner was so rude to her I was taken aback. She was trying to explain the reason why she was late and was trying to apologize but the owner was speaking to her in the most condescending manner. I was so uncomfortable me and my friend decided to leave. The other individuals who were in the class also looked equally as uncomfortable and I imagine it was due to the owner's attitude. She was totally rude and unprofessional. She also mocked me as I was looking at her with a confused face because I literally couldn't believe she was talking to us like we were children. Keep in mind we paid $100 for this class. This woman is very unprofessional and I would not recommended anyone attend her workshops. While me and my friend fully understood we were late we were totally thrown off by our experience and its truly unfortunate because we where looking forward to taking this class read more

Found this paint a mat event on Eventbrite and bought tickets easily through the Eventbrite website. The FSC workshop is located in a lightly lit strip mall about 5 minutes from the freeway. There was plenty of parking directly in front of the establishment. We arrived early (as directed by the instructions on the invite) and when approached the door, the owner opened the door and advised us to wait a few more minutes as they were cleaning, sanitizing, and using sage to rid the space of negative energy! I thought WOW! Okay, we waited in the car. A few minutes later, she opened the door and ushered us to come in. My daughter and I were the first to arrive and were given first dibs to the mats available to paint. The owner was very personable, and pleasant. We showed our tickets on our phone and was advised to pick a mat and a space to paint. The location had three tables with tables all set with paint and tools needed for the workshop. The place is very well lit and very decorative. By the time of the event, most of the attendees were in place. The owner and her assistant were so much fun and constantly walked around to offer assistance and provided compliments to ensure everyone's mat would come out great. There was good music playing in the background that set just the right mood for the event. My daughter had a good time and it appeared everyone else did too! My only suggestion for the owner is to have people spread out a limit of just four people to each table to ensure social distancing. Would I go back absolutely! This is a great place for a girl's night out, a couple's date night, or a mother/daughter outing. It is even BYOB! What else could you ask for? I enjoyed the activity with my mom for her birthday. The owner of the spot had all event goers engage in a trivia that helped us learn about candle making and created a fun environment for us to learn and enjoy the candle making as a group even though we all didn't know each other. It was a quick activity, i think if she didn't engage in the trivia and conversation the candle making portion of it all maybe would've lasted 20-30 minutes, so something to consider. I would still say try it out! read more

I highly recommend this DIY Craft workshop. Visiting for an event was the highlight of my night. I was totally taken back by the atmosphere, the shop decor and how pleasant the owner was. Felicia the owner was so warm and welcoming. And the shop design was modern and art work was amazing. Oh and let me not forget well kept and clean. There are not many establishments as such in this area. So I'm excited to have one in this location and hopefully it's here to stay for a very long time. It's so wonderful to have this type establishment in PG County! A great spot for girls night, reconnecting with family, or just a quick "me time" activity. Ms. Fee was a great! It was like sitting down with an old friend! I took the candle making workshop and the assortment of available scents was great. I made a very nice 10 oz candle and I can't wait to light in to it. The Workshop's decor and ambiance is very welcoming. As you can see from pics posted by others, the mural is a must see. It's so vibrant in person, too!
