HIGHLY recommend. 2 days before my son and his fiancé's engagement party, I found out she really wanted beautiful theme shaped cookies. I had no idea and wanted to make this day special to the last detail. I googled and called "Cookies and Cupcake by design". I spoke to Rosita and although it was last minute and she was busy she came thru for us and made these beautiful cookies and even color matched the exact burgundy and gold accent color as the wedding colors. They were beautiful, elegant and delicious. Not dry or overly sweet as some I've had from other bakers. She was wonderful to work with and I'll definitely use her again. Do not hesitate to order your cookies or cupcakes here! 10 out of 10. I forgot to take good pictures at my party, but luckily Rosita had taken some before I pick them up. read more

The worse cupcake I have ever had in my life!!! It was like biting into a piece of cardboard and the frosting was made out of oil, it was so bad I had to clean my hand THREE times to remove the frosting off my hands - crazy. I bought 5 and all of them are in the garbage!!! Stay away!! read more

My daughter just ordered these as a gift for her sister as she has zoom jw school. I thought that was sweet of her. The cookies were delicious and perfectly decorated as they have been since we first time we ordered them 23 years ago. I love them except I can't tolerate the enriched flours that are used in baking. If they used unbleached and not enriched flour I would have eaten them all myself. read more

I wanted to send my girlfriend something for her birthday, but I wanted it to be something fun and different. I came across this company when I did a Google search for baskets. Nancy M is the queen of all things cookies and she is kind enough to make them for us every year to enjoy at our annual holiday party. Hers are truly the best but I was really liking the uniquely designed cookies on the site and I decided to give them a try. If your a part of our Fort Lauderdale Yelp community then you know about Pinky, our beautiful pink flamingo~she's sorta like our community mascot. So when I found the pink flamingo cookies that just sealed the deal for me. Nancy, I hope you had a good birthday and you & your dad liked them. I didn't taste the cookies but Nancy describes them in her review. My review is on the excellent service I received and not the actual product. Irma took my order over the phone and she gave me a few different options. I ordered, paid and then they emailed me my receipt. The process was so easy; but fun too! Thank you so much Irma for all of your help. I had a great experience with Cookies By Design and I will be using them again! read more

Super easy to order and lightening fast delivery! So simple, I ordered again the next day.

Rosita could not have been more accommodating. She really went out of her way to make me a cookie that looked like a beautiful necklace, as a thank you to all my dearest friends at my 80th birthday party. The cookies really made a big hit!! read more

Twice now Rosita (the baker) has gotten me out of a jam accommodating last minute orders! She made some cocomelon cookies for our sons birthday party that were super cute, would have been even better if I had given her more time but they were a hit at our party nonetheless! She has stayed after hours and goes above and beyond to help her customers! I am a customer for life :) just wish she was closer to my home lol read more

Had a graduation party and wanted to have something different to give our family and friends and this was the perfect thing. They were wrapped and a cute bow, great craftsmanship, no one does a better job. From start to finish it was a great experience from ordering them to picking them up. The WORST cupcake I've ever had in my whole life!!! It was so stale and so hard cake had no flavor!! the icing was HORRIBLE and not creamy at all it was hard as a rock and had no flavor as well it was absolutely terrible. I felt so sad wasting money on a cupcake I thought was good and then I had to throw it away. read more

Placed an order for my husbands birthday, 3 days ahead of time. Day to be delivered and they waltz in the door 5 minutes before closing. Cookies were not impressive, dry and crumbly, tasteless. This was the worst $181.00 that I've ever spent. Will never again with this place. :( read more

I was surprised by a delivery today on my birthday from Cookies By Design. I have never heard of the store but now that I have when I have a special occasion I want to remember I will be calling upon them! I went to the website and took a look at the company that specializes in cookie gift baskets. The basket I received was 5 pink flamingos and a cookie saying Happy Birthday Nancy on it! What a great hot pink masterpiece! I looked at the card and they were from Yelper Britt Z! Brit was my first yelp friend when I joined nearly 7 years ago. What a wonderful surprise!! My take on the cookie itself: I found it to be rather THICK..it had a great taste and was very fresh but the thickness threw me a little bit. Possibly they have to be that thick to hold the frosting design! The frosting was not overpowering it was just the thickness that got me. The arrangement sat in a basket type container with huge flamingos propped on sticks and a great square gift box looking cookie with the birthday sentiments written in script on it! Would I use Cookies by Design for one of my friends ...sure I would. I thought the design was creative and loved the freshness of the cookies! I would recommend Cookies by Design to anyone who wants to send an any occasion cookie gift basket. Guaranteed whoever receives one will love it like I did! Thanks Britt Z and Cookies by Design for making my 55th Birthday that much more special!!!! read more

My girlfriend got an order of these cookies for her birthday. The gift was your simple cookies (oatmeal, chocolate chip, etc). The order was placed WELL in advance, with more than a day and a half's notice. Not only was this place 20 minutes late but the cookies tasted like flaky grocery store garbage. Would never go here again. read more

Have been shopping there for years. My experience this time was terrible. Ordered a college logo cookie a week in advance. Went to pick it up ,cookie wasn't ready. Apparently the logo needed to be printed. This was done when I got there for pickup. Was handed the cookie on a paper plate and was told it was still wet. read more

Great service, delicious and amazingly decorated cookies! My top choice for cookies in Boca Raton!

Worst customer service and manager Irma! Cookies are not the best. Seems like it's been left out for a while. I wanted to place an order but no thanks. I will no longer be bringing business to this location. I would rather support a business that cares about their service towards their customers and the taste of their product rather than making a dollar. read more

The Owner of this location of Cookies by Design makes sure that every customer is EXTREMELY satisfied. The Coral Springs store goes over and beyond your expectations, ensuring that every delivery is done to perfection. I ordered a cookie bouquet, with a balloon, to be delivered to a Boca Raton Production Theater, where a friend was celebrating her birthday and enjoying a play. The Theater accepted delivery, signed for it and then failed to deliver the cookies and balloon to my friend!! After many phone calls, the theater made all these wild claims about not understanding who the delivery was for, never called my friend after to apologize or to pick up the basket and never gave the basket back to me, my friend or Cookies by Design. Basically, this Costume Theater kept it for themselves and then were very rude when questioned about it! Nonetheless, at their own additional expense and time, the Owner of Cookies by Design, Coral Springs, prepared another cookie bouquet and delivered all of it herself, with additional cookies added and balloons, to my friend at her home! My friend was delighted with the delivery and Cookies by Design, Coral Springs location, has won my loyalty forever!! Thank you for being so courteous and professional about everything you do!! Plus, the cookies are super YUMMY!! You are the BEST!!! read more

Cookies are pretty but take chalky. I just was able to use them as a centerpiece at my party. I really wish I would've just bought another cake because the person who made my cake was fabulous but I thought cookies would be a really good thing but they sure weren't like I remembered over eight years ago. I should've known better because I bought some as a gift for someone eight years ago and I remember them telling me that the cookies were not good. They are really pretty though but definitely disappointed. I still have some sitting around because they're pretty. read more

I am so grateful to Jenny who arranged to have cookies delivered to my brother-in-law at the hospital on a very bad day for him. I live in Ohio and found many great reviews here on Yelp. My brother-in-law told us the cookies were absolutely delicious and the he put them in a drawer to hide them from the nurses. Jenny did a custom order for me of a variety of cookies. What an awesome, compassionate, and determined-to-help person Jenny is. My gratitude to her and her delivery person for this exceptional customer service. Jean D. New Franklin, OH read more

I ordered two Disney themed cookie bouquets from them after learning about them through a Living Social promotion and they were great! I ordered them on Friday afternoon and they were ready by Saturday morning, just in time for the event I needed them for. They looked amazing and they tasted great too. Sure, they are pricey (the Living Social deal definitely helped), but you definitely get what you pay for. The bouquets are beautiful and carefully made and the cookies are fresh and tasty. Also, the receptionist at the store who took my order was very nice and friendly - she even gave me a box so that they wouldn't move a lot in my car. My review speaks for this store only (in Coral Springs), as I do not know how well other Cookies By Design stores are. Go ahead and give them a try if you're looking for a very unique, presentable gift, you wont regret it. read more

Not really impressed with store #77. I called the night before to ask if they could be delivered by 4pm, they were also a "same day delivery" item. In fact they were all plain cookies with just a single colored flower. Just to follow up I called at 3pm to see if they had been delivered yet.The lady took forever to answer the simple question. She said they had been delivered. She said, "Maybe your friend hasn't called to say Thank You yet." Needless to say they had not been delivered , and the person never got the surprise because she had gone home already. They delivered so late that my friend had already left work. I paid $75 for plain cookies, no decoration. They should have been there sooner. read more

Every time I order from them the cookies are delicious and beautiful This last order, my clients called to tell me how much the delivery people went out of their way to deliver the order. When they were unsuccessful delivering the first time because the guard at the gate could not reach the homeowner to allow them in the gate, they came back out later that evening and again had trouble reaching the homeowner but was able to get in with the help of a neighbor and left it with the neighbor who then got it to my customers. My clients were so appreciative of the extent that the delivery people made in getting the basket to them. They called me and made a point of letting me know. Also they LOVED the cookies.
