The momma cat ran away. Momma cat had an appointment today 1/28 and we forgot to cancel. My husband received a call from the Vet stating we needed to pay for the visit and going forward we would have to prepay for all appointments. Apparently, there is a policy that exists. Clients are only made aware of this when they miss an appointment. This gives the practice manager the ability to enforce the policy whenever they feel free to do so. Usually, we receive an email and a call stating that we have an appointment for the animals a day or 2 in advance. According to my husband neither of these reminders happened. i have spent thousands of dollars for my pets with this office and in the end they told me that I needed to take care elsewhere. I am a little disappointed with the way the practice manager handled the situation. I think the vet and the vet techs and the reception are amazing. However, if a policy exists it should be shared with clients when they establish care. Or it could be attached to the email when they send reminder calls. I believes this is an excellent, comprehensive, compassionate place for the animals. If I were to rate this based on today´s experience it would not be good. I do feel that if there are rules they should be shared with the customers. The practice manager should fix her process to ensure everyone knows the rules. Practice managers are suppose to fix processes. unfortunately, I need to rate.

I have one healthy cat and one with a gastrointestinal tumor and an open sore on his skin. Both kitties are elderly. She did look at their teeth and my sick c at's sore, and the cats were weighed. I don't remember if she used her stethoscope or not but I have never had a doctor be less thurough in the exam or show so little concern for my cats. My sick cat's x-rays from another vet were faxed to her but she didn't mention them. She did order an antibiotic for the sore, which made a barely noticable improvement, but nit enough. There was one other patient in the waiting room with me so I don't think they were that busy. The doctor wasn't rude, she just wasn't caring in the slightest and wasn't nearly as thorough as you expect and need your doctor to be. The cat I think is healthy might not be healthy after all. They are 16 years old and illnesses/diseases can develop rapidly and without symptoms until its too late. I will be finding another doctor for the follow-up.

My husband and I have been long-standing clients of Court Street Vets for nearly two decades…read more Throughout our experiences with both the prior and new owners, Sabrina has consistently demonstrated exceptional kindness, compassion, and understanding towards our animals. However, over the past year, we have encountered different veterinarians instead of Sabrina, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory experience. Yesterday, when we brought our dog Oliver in for a visit, the veterinarian, who appeared to be relatively inexperienced, exhibited extreme rudeness. As animal owners who treat our pets like family, it was disconcerting to be spoken to in such a manner. I declined to authorize additional tests that were just extras... opting instead to conduct them at a later time, given the substantial costs already incurred for Oliver's physical examination and bloodwork. The veterinarian, Dr. Levy, proceeded to label me a neglectful dog owner. When these test I have done on a yearly basis and felt it wasn't needed till our next visit. I chose to address the issue at a later time so I could get my dogs monthly prescription , plus this Dr. had never seen my dogs or knows us and our history. This clinic has drastically declined over the last few visits and I new after this unprofessional visit I would never allow my fur babies to be seen by such nasty people. the funny thing is when you walk into their waiting room they have a sign about treating people with respect and kindness...I would say there team needs to practice what they preach! This morning, I contacted a new veterinary practice in a nearby town, which has received excellent recommendations, and arranged to transfer our records. I am relieved to have found a more suitable alternative and will no longer need to interact with Court Street Vets. Unfortunately, it appears that the establishment has undergone a significant decline in quality, with new staff exhibiting poor bedside manners and prioritizing financial gain over animal care.

I adopted a rabbit..found a few flees not many. She was pregnant surprise!!! Anyhow babies looked great then about six weeks I noticed severe itching hair loss. At night after cleaning their enclosures I began to itch like crazy. Like something from a Syfy movie. I began to read everything I could about rabbits and zoonume decrease that humans could get. WOW I was surprised!!! I figured I probably had walking dander mites. They showed all the signs. It was horrible for me not to scratch for the secondary infections is the worse. Now I truly know what it's like for animals to have fleas or mites!! Long story short..brought one baby and the mother. Mother was supposably treated with revaluation and baby wasn't. Skin scrape came up negative. Often their is a falls negative if eggs haven't hatched again!! They treated me as if I were nuts. Not listening to me at all.
