I've been to Dr Mangham with all 3 of my children, oldest is almost 22 and youngest turned 4 yesterday! She is always caring, thorough and is so dedicated in making sure all my questions are answered by taking time with us. She gives exceptional care and I totally trust her in caring for my kids. read more

We've been seeing Dr Amani Terrell for 8 years. One of my children is fully vaccinated and the other I'm behind on by Less than half a year due to his compromised immune system and my concerns for him. He has over 5 life threatening food allergies and is being treated by an allergist while more are being discovered and he is receiving treatment. My allergist was surprised our pediatrician didn't prescribe us an Epi pen even before what they said were unnecessary tests to get the referral. I never raised concerns about this oversight but I raised concerns to his doctor about a pause in his schedule since it's all immune related BUT I was shut down instantly and felt the very hard vaccine Push which led me to keep quiet after. (I was wanting to talk about recommendations regarding the CDC guidelines of immune compromised children and her thoughts for my child as an individual patient). They then dropped BOTH my children as patients after this however citing "philosophical differences". This practice feels very rigid and greedy to me. A different Dr at this office was rude before my child's circumcision at the hospital when I was alone without my husband or a nurse. He did not do a great job on the technical part and it led to issues with his skin down there but I felt our doctor kept covering for him. It made me lose some trust months ago. I'm very unhappy with this Keller office and it's just not for our family. I hope this office reads this review read more

Depending on the location! Urgent care is awesome! Of course appointment only but worth it and much faster& efficient than the ER.

Patient beware. Cook Children's and in particular Dr. Catherine Hampton are intent on pushing all vaccines and in the timeframe recommended by the CDC. If you elect to avoid certain vaccinations, she will refuse to see your child going forward. Not that I think she is a bad pediatrician, but it seems the child's well-being and the parent's preferences are a secondary concern behind the profit motive of pushing all vaccinations. read more

Don't Waste Your Time. If the front desk is any indication as to how the doctor's interact with their patients or provide care, I'll pass. Given the times of COVID I understand processes change and operations may not run as they normally do but it should then be your business's priority to ensure that your patients and customers are well-informed and are up to date with said changes. With this being a chain you would think they would be better organized than this. For me to make a new patient appointment two months ahead of time only to find out that a relative cannot take my child to an appointment literally minutes before the appointment time then to be turned away due to the lack of communication on your part is RIDICULOUS. Not to even apologize or attempt or offer to make another appointment due to your malfeasance is beyond rude. They don't know how to communicate effectively, do not know how to apologize or admit their lack of communication and don't deserve your business. So, if you are hankering to be mistreated and receive crappy customer service SIGN RIGHT UP. This place is inept and incompetent at best. read more

We have been so happy with this office. They're so prompt in returning calls and messages and resolving things via portal when possible so you don't have to be seen for every single thing. In the years we've been there I've never waited an unreasonable amount of time. This office is being managed exceptionally well. read more

Dr Terk has been our pediatrician for the last 23 years. He has seen our kids from birth to adulthood with only 1 left to age out. I have friends that drove from Arlington to see him after struggling to find a pediatrician in their area that they liked. We feel blessed to have found him oh so many years ago and to have him guide us through the ups and downs of our kids lives. He really develops a relationship with the child thru the years so that they trust him as they get older and he encourages them to be proactive about their health and answers any questions they have. My older two kids would still be seeing him if they could. When we have had to see a different doctor in the practice we have liked them all. There isn't one doctor in the practice that I wouldn't recommend which is good because although 95% of the time we see Dr Terk there have been times when he wasn't available and we needed to be seen right away. This is an awesome pediatric office! read more

My 3 kids have been going to Dr. Mangham since they were born. My oldest is now 15 and we couldn't be happier with the care we have received all of these years. read more

I was VERY disappointed with our 2 year olds sick visit. All the front desk ladies and doctors were extremely rude. The doctor got loud and seemed angry when my son was crying, and yelled over him until he stopped crying... you're a pediatrician and you can't handle a sick screaming baby?! I was asking questions and the doctor looked at me as if I was stupid and said "I can look it up for you or you could just look it up yourself". Very terrible visit I won't be coming back. read more

We went here when our daughter was born until 6 months of age. Didn't think any of the doctors spent much time with us or seemed to care about our questions. It was our first child and we had maybe 5 questions a visit but they seemed to annoy the doctors. In addition, they also make you feel dumb if you don't do things per their book. After 3.5 months our daughter starting attending daycare and got RSV, double pink, and double ear infections the first week. We had went to Cooks emergency in Southlake which was good. However the ear infections and sickness continued over the course of the next 2.5 months, putting our daughter on 7 yes SEVEN antibiotics. We asked several times about putting tubes in her ears but the doctor kept telling us to hold off until fall. I finally was sick of my daughter being sick non stop so I took her to ENT for children in Southlake. The Doctor there told us our daughter had 50% hearing loss, his example of how she could hear was putting your fingers in your ears as hard as you could. He didn't say anything bad about our Cooks doctor but he said he doesn't recommend holding off any longer. This nearly brought tears to my eyes. Hearing loss isn't a joke and could cause speech issues in young children. For this and the other reasons listed above I highly recommend you choose a different doctor. read more

This office is awesome! My daughter has been a patient here since she was born, 6 years ago. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Whenever my daughter is sick, 99.9% of the time she gets in to see her doctor the same day. Dr. Terk is absolutely amazing with the kids. He makes them feel safe and comfortable. You couldn't ask for a better or more knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend this office/doctors. read more

Dr Terk was arrogant and after offending me and questioning my parenting numerous times, he bullied me into getting my children the flu shot when I clearly explained that I didn't want it. It is now 3 months after their first flu vaccines, and my oldest is thoroughly enjoying her very first flu! But I won't ask you to apologize Dr. Terk read more

They lost both my kids medical records, always put me on hold for 10 minutes everytime I call, and want me to pull the kids out of school for well visits. if you do need an appointment it is 2 plus months out. No thanks read more

We switch to Dr Garza when my son was 4 months old. Our former pediatrician wasn't as attentive or helpful as we needed. Dr Garza is wonderful. She's so kind and understanding. She asks all the right questions and answers all those first time parent questions my husband and I have. They are quick to act and truly care. I have been to see dr may lock when dr Garza is out of office. Dr Matlock is also wonderful. We've only seen her during sick visits. She quick to act and very helpful in helping us understand recovery. read more

Love it. The doctors are great here. I can almost always get an appointment on short notice.

If you are a stay at home parent with 2 or less kids this place may work for you. Unfortunately, I am a working parent with more than 2 kids, this place will make me lose my job trying to keep my family healthy. They want you to take your kids out of school and take vacation for a scheduled appt. They then recommend you go to CVS minute clinic for Flu shots and physicals and were asking me what vaccines my kids need but they had ALL of their records. Not really sure what is the point of going here. The docs may have 2+ plus kids but they all have doc friends they call for their kids. For those of use that don't have doc friends they are many other places in Keller willing to help take care of your whole family and be a working parent. Good Luck! read more

Update: I had the pleasure of speaking with several managers at Cook's and was very, very pleased with their understanding and concern. They explained exactly what they're working on to better serve their patients and families in terms of calls and appointments and I was very impressed and felt comfortable continuing care there. Thank you! read more
