He has over 5 life threatening food allergies and is being treated by an allergist while more are being discovered and he is receiving treatment. My allergist was surprised our pediatrician didn't prescribe us an Epi pen even before what they said were unnecessary tests to get the referral. I never raised concerns about this oversight but I raised concerns to his doctor about a pause in his schedule since it's all immune related BUT I was shut down instantly and felt the very hard vaccine Push which led me to keep quiet after. (I was wanting to talk about recommendations regarding the CDC guidelines of immune compromised children and her thoughts for my child as an individual patient). They then dropped BOTH my children as patients after this however citing "philosophical differences". This practice feels very rigid and greedy to me. A different Dr at this office was rude before my child's circumcision at the hospital when I was alone without my husband or a nurse. He did not do a great job on the technical part and it led to issues with his skin down there but I felt our doctor kept covering for him. It made me lose some trust months ago. I'm very unhappy with this Keller office and it's just not for our family. I hope this office reads this review

Had a couple questionable moments…read morewith Dr. Robertson (I agree with other review of her), and Dr. Gronberg (son was sick and he said "I don't know" and charged us $78)...so tried a different Pediatric clinic during COVID... but it was fairly far away and he hounded me about delaying vaccines for my newborn daughter. He also explained how, like a previous reviewer said, if vax/unvax ratios are off he will get in trouble and how they get money for vaxxing kids. Came back to this clinic and made an appointment with a new provider, Dr. Chandler and was quite happy that she didn't give me a hard time... just sign a paper that you decline. She's been great and takes any concerns seriously, plus the office staff is really great and friendly too. They always made sure I got whatever papers I needed signed for school, etc. However today I was informed we could not come back due to declining getting her vaccinated, but she still did my daughters 5 year well check... maybe because we had made the appointment a year ago. Also saw a sign that if you delay vaccines there is an extra fee of like $75. I understand it's their clinic, their choice. Just like it's our bodies, our choice. Just wanted to let other Moms whose kids can't have vaccines for whatever reason, that this is NOT a place that that will care for your child if they're unvaccinated.

I am fine if that's not your M.O., but parents should feel that you care about their children. They should also feel listened to. Many first time parents are scared and learning how to take care of a sick baby for the first time. Sometimes, compassion goes a lot further than a prescription or test. My wife and I didn't feel even the slightest bit of concern or empathy at this office, so we found a new doctor.

Then Megan, the other owner followed up with insurance benefits and was very thorough and explained the process to me. After touring the facility and meeting the owners and staff, my husband and I knew it was the best place for our son. Beth and Megan kept in contact with us throughout the waitlist process and getting us started as soon as a space was available. The BCBAs on staff work to set goals for their patients and were updating us daily on his progress and well as sitting down with us monthly to show us how he is improving. My son has improved DRAMATICALLY since working with the missing peace, I would recommend them to anyone looking for aba therapy. He is excited to go everyday and doesn't feel like he's working on goals, it's all "play" to him. Our family has enjoyed seeing our son come out of his shell and his personality blossom through the progress made at TMP. I was surprised to see a negative review regarding the billing/financial side of TMP. I'm my experience the owners are very understanding and offer to work with parents in any way they can. I had a miscommunication with my insurance and while sorting the issue out TMP worked with me until a resolution was made with my insurance.

He was short and it seemed like he did the minimal amount just to get the appointment over with. He seemed put out to have to explain things to my boss (it's not like there was a language barrier or she was incompetent) and he wasn't super patient. I'm not discounting his knowledge or expertise, but I'd rather go to a doctor who is patient and makes me feel like my child and I are important. Especially when it comes to their health.

He was very nice, and great with my 4 year old so I looked past the fact that he asked me if I "worked outside of the home" among other infuriating statements questioning my parenting. My final tipping point, however was when he told me it was time for my girls to get their flu shot. I stated that we don't get the flu shot and we have never had the flu, and I wasn't comfortable with it. I hear from people all the time that the only time they got the flu was the one time they got the flu shot. (I am not against all vaccinations, just the flu shot) Dr Terk proceeded to ask me my reasoning, told me that nothing I said was based on facts or real evidence, and literally bullied me into giving my children the flu shot. I left feeling like I had failed my children in many different ways, but I was mostly furious with myself for letting someone like that shove aside what I thought was best for my children and force me to do something that I was clearly uncomfortable with. I thought about writing this review in September but decided to let it go. It is now December and guess who has the flu for the first time ever. My oldest daughter. Thank you Dr Terk.
