I went to see him for guidance for my hand issues to try to avoid surgery as long as possible as I work from home so I am on a computer all day so I need my hands. He took a look at my hand and asked me if I can lay my hand flat on the table. I said yes, but my concern was I don't want to wait until I need surgery and that I would like to know if there is anything I can do like therapy to help. All he said was "There is nothing you can do. Come back and see me when you can't lay your hand flat on a table and we will do surgery." In other words, I was wasting his time with the little stuff and the big money is in the surgeries. He was definitely not concerned about the fact that I need my hands for my job. Needless to say, I left a vm for my PCP for other options and letting her know about my experience.

"Its pretty swollen, take ibuprofen 3 times a day, exercise it and return to work! How long do you want off? Two weeks enough?" Needless to say I left angry! Anyone that knows me knows I Love to work hard and diligently and make a difference! I wasn't there for time off work but rather to get treatment and get back to work! So I did what he said! I started walking on it, exercising it and moving it thinking it would get better! It got worse! In a hurry! Yesterday Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho (my second opinion) did a complete physical assessment of my knee and replied "Im going to put it in an immobilizer to keep it straight because its not stable enough for you to walk on! The inflammation is a concern so I'm going to give you Meloxicam to get it under control! I think you have significant ligament tears and an injured meniscus so we will do an MRI to confirm that!" He then gave me crutches and requested to walk only when having too but with the immobilizer! Conway Ortho was unprofessional, negligent and inconsiderate in thinking I was like most and just looking for time off work! I do not recommend them to anyone seeking medical treatment! Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho was very thorough in his exam, knowledgeable, considerate, caring and helpful! He listened to my testimony as I witnessed and interacted directly with me as well! Just in case anyone reading is needing an Ortho clinic! I gave Conway Ortho one star because I had to in this review otherwise I would have left it blank

Dr. Stroud will work with you to do everything he can; he cares about his patients. It took until December to have sinus surgery but that was the fault of insurance; his staff knew exactly what codes to use/routes to take to achieve the best possible outcome and still went above and beyond during surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Stroud and his staff enough!

I didn't even know I had cataracts until my annual exam on Thursday, July 25th. I've been wearing eyeglasses/contacts for over 30 years. I'm just amazed that I no longer need corrective eye wear. It's so nice to see clearly when I wake up in the mornings or during the night. It's also nice not to wake up laying on my glasses because I fell asleep while watching TV with them on. Fall of 2018 I met Dr Keith Currie during my consultation he was so precise about my back. The first day of my treatments I was able to walk out of his office without crutches.
