Just want to let everyone know that on my first visit to Conway Ortho I met with Dr Grohmley! He…read morecame in the room, felt the temperature in my knee, asked if I could bend it and replied.... "Its pretty swollen, take ibuprofen 3 times a day, exercise it and return to work! How long do you want off? Two weeks enough?" Needless to say I left angry! Anyone that knows me knows I Love to work hard and diligently and make a difference! I wasn't there for time off work but rather to get treatment and get back to work! So I did what he said! I started walking on it, exercising it and moving it thinking it would get better! It got worse! In a hurry! Yesterday Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho (my second opinion) did a complete physical assessment of my knee and replied "Im going to put it in an immobilizer to keep it straight because its not stable enough for you to walk on! The inflammation is a concern so I'm going to give you Meloxicam to get it under control! I think you have significant ligament tears and an injured meniscus so we will do an MRI to confirm that!" He then gave me crutches and requested to walk only when having too but with the immobilizer! Conway Ortho was unprofessional, negligent and inconsiderate in thinking I was like most and just looking for time off work! I do not recommend them to anyone seeking medical treatment! Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho was very thorough in his exam, knowledgeable, considerate, caring and helpful! He listened to my testimony as I witnessed and interacted directly with me as well! Just in case anyone reading is needing an Ortho clinic! I gave Conway Ortho one star because I had to in this review otherwise I would have left it blank

I really liked him!" We actually had met both Brian and his wife, Dr. Shelley Russell, at a party this summer, so I knew I would feel comfortable with him. But I had no idea how amazing the patient service would be! They called twice in the two days before my appointment to remind me. I arrived at 1:10 p.m. for my 1:15 appointment. I sat down and had barely cracked my book when they called me back. Thinking I would be waiting in the exam room for awhile after the nurse told me what to do and left, I got my book out. Again, I had no time to read, as Dr. Russell arrived just as I opened my book. We chatted a bit about Malcolm Gladwell (my book's author) and other things. He told me how the exam would go and he called in his nurse. I felt very at ease and he talked to me about everything he was observing. At the end, he said there was a mole he would be more comfortable removing but said he was willing to watch it if that's what I elected. I said I wanted to remove it as well, thinking I would have to make another appointment, but no! He did it right then. I was processed and out of the office in less than 30 minutes! Honestly, I couldn't believe how fast it was, coupled with the quality interaction and the short procedure he performed. This positive impression was compounded when his nurse called and left me a voice mail about the results of the pathology test. I returned her call, again expecting delays and phone tag, but she answered the phone, gave me the results, and I was finished. This practice has patient service and relations down to a fine art! I also think both Drs. Russell are smart, personable, warm and adept. What a great experience all around! I recommend them without any reservations -- that is unless you want to get some reading done. :-)

CLARIFICATION: This business is also better and more specifically known as CONWAY REGIONAL HEALTH…read moreSYSTEM AT CONWAY REGIONAL NEUROSCIENCE CENTER NOTE!!! This is also known as: CONWAY REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM AT CONWAY REGIONAL NEUROSCIENCE CENTER Trying to pry the office staff away for these quick shots was no easy feat! Everyone here in the office is kind, compassionate, respectful, thorough, and PATIENT. I can't begin to explain how patient they have been with our seemingly endless questions. Each of them have explained the process from first appointment to followup, to discharge, to numerous former patients, but they realized that this may well be your first time there and teach/instruct you accordingly, and they ALWAYS do it with smiles on their faces and always allow time for confirmation or any questions you may have. That is their conduct whether you are there in person, or by telephone. Not once were we rushed or made to feel as if we were inconveniencing them in any way! Professional, patient, and polite office staff. There are not enough glowing descriptive words or phrases to use for Dr. Regan Gallaher's stellar review he so richly deserves. Unlike a previous doctor who initially consulted on my husband's case, Dr. Gallaher is APPROACHABLE, does not have a God complex, and is NOT dismissive, rude, or rushed. Dr G. is certainly confident, knowledgeable, informative, and positive, all while being patient, empathetic, understanding, and open to questions. From the onset, he has a CLEAR pre-op and post-op plan which includes adequately and appropriately addressing PAIN without treating his patient like a drug-seeking addict from the jump. He has been a Godsend for us and for countless others. He is approachable and does NOT suffer from Delusions of Grandeur which one particular surgeon from Ortho Arkansas is plagued with... a condition for which he makes no apologies, I might add. My husband has had a very complicated back surgery, is healing well, no complications, and his post-op pain is appropriately, adequately, and mercifully treated. Note here that the impinged / pinched nerve pain for which he was being seen originally was immediately, with surgery, alleviated day ONE post-op!We will forever be indebted (and I DON'T mean monitarily) to Dr. Gallaher, surgeon extraordinaire! IN A NUTSHELL: If you need a Neurosurgeon, it would be a grievous error on your part to have ANYONE EXCEPT Dr. Gallaher perform the surgery you or your loved one needs!
