Cheese Importers is a Colorado family-owned business founded in 1976. They offer natural, organic,…read moreand imported cheeses, cured meats, specialty oils, spices, olives, chocolate, and other unique specialty foods. They also have wonderful French & Italian food items, and kitchen and dining ware. There are children's gifts, beeswax candles, gift wrap, gorgeous jigsaw puzzles, glassware, French table linens, aprons, and much, much more. It is worth the experience to visit this extraordinary shop! The building was formerly the Power & Communications Building, which Cheese Importers took over in 2012. The shop is gorgeous, and the buyers are fantastic, stocking it with so many beautiful items that you will not easily find in other shops or online. The staff is friendly and informative. The prices are very high, and I don't recommend buying items you can find in your local grocery store or gift shop, but if you find interesting, unique, and beautiful items that you love, then it is worth spending the money, in my opinion. This is a great place to find exceptional gifts, especially for someone who likes to entertain. Must take home a fresh French baguette and some caramels! There is a parking lot in the rear of the building.

But the market feel, the variety, the customer service, patio, cute atmosphere, selection, and warm baguettes made it quite the experience. We were impressed and I would drive all the way from Littleton to experience it again. We basically built ourselves a little picnic and sat outside on the patio to enjoy it all. Bring your own plates, utensils if you plan on doing what we did. We made do with the plastic knives and napkins from the bakery, but it would have been better if we came more prepared. Lovely.

Finally!! A japanese market in Longmont!! I've been to…read moreJapan more times than I can count and I love Japanese food. I am so glad this place is here! It is legit. I needed Tonkatsu sauce and Ponzu sauce for a dinner and they had the best of both....and some mochi for dessert as a bonus! Next up I need to try their nigiri, which I am sure is great. I recognized the chef when I walked in and have had his food truck fare before. It was always excellent. I wondered what happened to that guy. Now I know and I'm gald he has his own place now. I'll be back!

Kawaii Konbini is amazing! The Onigiri are always fresh, delicious and they never last long, so get…read morethere well before 4p! I would honestly eat there every day if I could! Since every onigiri is made to order, and they can sometimes be a little busy around lunchtime, (because who doesn't love onigiri for lunch!?) you may have to wait for a few minutes, no worries, it will be WELL WORTH IT!! Just plan ahead, and be happy that this will give you plenty of time to browse the incredible and varied stock of Japanese foods, candies, frozen treats and other novel items in Kawaii Konbini. If you don't leave with a bag (or box) full of Hi-Chew, shrimp chips, Peach gummies, Hapi Pudding Cups and some Green Tea Kit Kat with your Onigiri, you are doing it all wrong!! All of this, plus the warm, welcoming, inclusive service, and the oh so cozy space makes Kawaii Konbini a Longmont must visit!!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!…read moreThe service was great. Watching the staff work in unison tending to their part in the cash register, oven, to table process was an eyewitness testament to their pizza excellence

There are moments in a wandering day when the world seems to hush itself, waiting for some small…read morerevelation. Such a moment arrived as I stepped into Antonio's, where the warm, amber light fell upon the counter like a benediction, and two slices, humble in form, heroic in spirit called out with the quiet confidence of things well crafted and sure of their welcome. The Calabrian Spicy slice stood first, crimson-kissed by oils that shimmered like sunlight on distant southern seas. Its peppered heat did not assault the senses, but rose instead like a disciplined flame, bright and earnest, coaxing forth the deeper notes of the cheese and the well-rested dough beneath. It was as though Calabria itself, with its windswept coasts and ancient hills, had whispered into the ear of the baker, bidding him craft a slice that speaks of vigor, warmth, and unapologetic fire. Each bite unfurled like a stanza, bold yet harmonious, a small poem forged in spice and heat. Beside it, in gracious contrast, lay the Chicken Tikka Marsala slice a traveler from distant lands, bearing with it the fragrance of cardamom twilight and saffron dawns. The sauce, rich as a painter's final stroke on canvas, carried the gentle mysticism of the East. It wrapped the chicken in a cloak of warm spices, tender and abundant. This slice did not seek to conquer the appetite with intensity; rather, it invited the diner into its quiet temple, where flavor deepens like thought in the reflective hours of evening. It was a pilgrimage in a single plate, a meeting place of continents upon a sheet of humble dough. Together, these slices formed a duet: one fiery, one contemplative; one singing the high, bright music of Mediterranean fervor, the other murmuring the resonant, soulful hymns of the Indian subcontinent. And Antonio's wise curator of this delicious conversation stood as the keeper of a table where worlds are not only bridged but joyously celebrated. To eat them was to be reminded that even in the simplest corners of our days, delight waits: warm, aromatic, and ready to crown the humble with a taste that lingers long after the final bite has gone.
