The manager mentioned that this has happened more than five times and that sometimes it can take hours for the power to come back on. There were only two customers in line, and instead of simply comping the meals or finding a reasonable way to take care of the customers, we were expected to wait around for the power to return. In my case, I was actually told that I needed to place my order online instead. I understand that power outages can happen and are sometimes completely out of a business's control. What is within their control is how they treat customers when something goes wrong. In this situation, the customer service was poor and there was very little effort to make an inconvenient situation right. Unfortunately, this experience left a really bad impression and was not the kind of service I would expect from them.

Every time we go in, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is quick to help you customize your bowl. Our kids even enjoy the options available to them and how they can add as little or as much as possible. My go to is always the fresh salmons and tuna with the house sauce and wasabi shoyu sauce. The portions are generous for the price, the fish tasted fresh, and everything was seasoned well. I literally repeated the size I wanted and even said "the one with 2 proteins...the one that is $16" and the employee confirmed it was what he was holding. I was dumbfounded, but continued with my order. The bowl is so small that they can't even put both proteins into it. The employee had to put my second protein into a paper boat and then smash it into the plastic bowl at the end after mixing it with his hands. The fish looked dull and gray, and the toppings all looked like they came out of a can. Tasted like it, too. This was the most tasteless poke I have ever eaten in my life. I'll be surprised if I don't get sick tomorrow after eating this. And after all that, the poke was almost $19 with tax. I didn't get any special proteins or add-ons. I'm from NY and this is pricey even by NY standards. I'll absolutely never come back and will discourage anyone else from coming here.
