I had my car taken apart, cleaned, dried, and detailed and out back together to a very high standard for less time and money. This is just a word or warning - shop around. When they quote you without even looking through an open door, that's when you know they have too much work to give you a fair shake. Sure was a pretty building though!

My 1974 Camaro spent more than three months going in and out of their shop, and the main issue I brought it in for was never fixed. Along the way, they found several other problems, and I ended up paying over $4,000. When they finally told me the car was repaired, it broke down within an hour of picking it up. The car is now at another shop, where mechanics are correcting issues that Vintage Customs should have already taken care of. They might be great with certain classic cars, but I cannot recommend this shop for classic Camaro(s). The friendliness was there, but the workmanship and accountability were not.

So many repair shops did not answer their phones. I left messages and only about 1/2 called back. I did get a price quote from another shop but it was a price with a flat hourly rate. I felt I should call around a little more. When I called All City Convertibles Matt answered . Listened to the issue I had .Then He did his best to help me. I told him I lived in Puyallup. He said that he knew a shop that did really good work and it would be easier for me to get service a few minutes away rather than an hour or so drive. But if they could not help call him back and he would fix the top. So I called the other shopp but they were booked until after January. I called Matt back and he got me on the schedule. I drove up yesterday it took an hour and a half. Matt was there and got the car in immediately and started to work on it. About an hour and a half later he had the job wrapped up and I was on my way back home. Perfect! The reason I contacted All City Convertibles and Customs was because of how rare it is to see a company with 100% 5 star reviews. Yes price is important but it was not the driver to go there. It was the fact that they actually cared would talk to me and were there to help. I think when you read their reviews you will see that. Also they were very fair with the cost and actually a lot less than the flat rate I was quoted. If you need upholstery for your car boat etc or your convertible top worked on. This is the place. These guys are in a class all their own...in a good way…read more I drove 275 miles to Seattle to see a show and halfway through the drive my car started making noises and rattling/shaking. I was concerned I might not make it, but I did. I took my car to them the next morning and explained my situation and timing (I was driving home that night after the show). They went out of their way and did an extremely thorough inspection of my car....knowing there would be no time for them to do the repairs and make money off of me for the time they put in (about two hours). They provided me with an extremely thorough report, complete with pictures. When I asked what I owed they told me nothing. When I offered to at least pay for an hour of labor, they refused. If they went to this length for someone they knew was out of town (and would not be a repeat customer).....let alone someone they knew they could not help because of time constraints....I can only imagine how well they treat their local customer base. I asked wtf did I make an appt for then? they had no answer for me so I took my stuff and left. Another mechanic got the whole thing done in 30 mins. Don't waste your time here and don't give them your business.
