Later he was able to get us a pass so we can go there on our own, too. There never was any pressure to be done selecting the fabrics to start work, and we certainly took our time to find the right colors and materials. Because that selection is very important and he is cognizant of it. When the selection was done, he came to us to pick everything up and did the work quicker than we thought it would have been possible since we extended the scope of the work on the fly: we decided to replace all the existing 23 year old seat and back foam in addition to re-upholstering, also grease up the rotating stools, add nonscratch pads to legs, and apply two layers of Scotchguard. Everything happened smoothly, with wonderful timely communication along the way, and finally delivery with everything carefully wrapped up in plastic for protection. The final result vowed us! Worth every penny!

Ours is a vintage piece and there were several considerations specific to the era. He maintained communication throughout the project and everything went smoothly, including pick up and delivery. We are very happy with our newly upholstered couch. - PS 2025

No amount of handwaving and slick talk will convince me that they need that much time in labor and no parts. The time it would have taken them was 8 days - everywhere else was 2-4 days. I had my car taken apart, cleaned, dried, and detailed and out back together to a very high standard for less time and money. This is just a word or warning - shop around. When they quote you without even looking through an open door, that's when you know they have too much work to give you a fair shake. Sure was a pretty building though!

The car is now at another shop, where mechanics are correcting issues that Vintage Customs should have already taken care of. I was concerned I might not make it, but I did. I took my car to them the next morning and explained my situation and timing (I was driving home that night after the show). They went out of their way and did an extremely thorough inspection of my car....knowing there would be no time for them to do the repairs and make money off of me for the time they put in (about two hours). They provided me with an extremely thorough report, complete with pictures. When I asked what I owed they told me nothing. When I offered to at least pay for an hour of labor, they refused. If they went to this length for someone they knew was out of town (and would not be a repeat customer).....let alone someone they knew they could not help because of time constraints....I can only imagine how well they treat their local customer base.
