Extremely rude staff. I went in an hour before closing for a popcorn kernel stuck in my throat. They did absolutely nothing the doctor was extremely rude not addressing me only talking to my boyfriend when I am 20 myself. Then she stuck a stick in my throat which is normal but after she did it hurt and felt way more uncomfortable than it did before. I visited on a Friday evening for a minor health issue, and I was very happy with my experience. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left was less than 30 minutes. The check in process, the initial evaluation, the testing and the doctor's discussion about my treatment plan all were handled efficiently, professionally and with a friendly tone. I will definitely return here in the future if I have something come up that can't wait for a regular appointment. read more

I HAVE NEVER NEVER EVER met a staff as inadequate, incompetent, and incomprehensibly aggravating as the people at this company. Besides being completely unprofessional bad mouthing my employer by name to the other staff members but doing so loud enough to be heard in the waiting area they cannot seem to get their act together regarding the paperwork needed to get the appropriate testing done required by my employer. I started going on March 30th for a simple test with the paperwork from my employer, today April 6th is my 4th or more try to get the testing done. Each time being told wrong paperwork yet they cannot tell me what paperwork is needed. It is so absolutely ridiculous and infuriating. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, I wouldn't even go as far as to call them a business as it is just a building filled with individuals that don't seem to know what they are doing..... And sadly that is just the front office area, I'd hate to see the level of potential incompetence of the rest of the staff in the back. If there is anyone from this establishment who has an inkling of what they are doing and can fix the issues as the testing that I have to get has to be done by tomorrow April 7th to continue employment it would be greatly appreciated. While your at it maybe try hiring people who at least can act professional and know what they are doing. There needs to be several negative stars for this to be actually accurate. read more

Was worried about an injury as an out of state athlete. Called to confirm with the receptionist before I came in to ASSURE they took my insurance plan, and they CLEARLY STATED they do and my copay would be $5. 2 months later it turns out they lied-- they do not take my insurance. My $5 copay turned into $239 for physical therapy papers I could've found online. I would never had gone if I knew this would be my experience. If you're from out of state go literally anywhere else or just do telehealth with your provider. If you do go , read EVERY words on the forms. Turns out they also stored my card information without my knowledge. Would give zero stars if I could. ConvenientMD is the epitome of healthcare is a scam. read more

ConvenientMD has serious problems with how it runs its business and the 'all digital' tools it uses to do so. First they don't take cash (not even for your co-pay). Then they demand you use a malicious phone app to 'check in' (they seem to think everyone who walks in is going to have a fully charged smart phone/Android phone and know how to use it. If you get this far rather than bill you via snail mail like any sane company would do (and give you time, like a few weeks to pay) they harass you via dozens of text messages and automated calls all at once or in a very short 12-24 hour window anyway. The way they 'make you pay' is via reply to a sketchy text message that says 'press c to charge your card on file'. Yes- it looks like a scam including the use of a URL shortener. This doesn't actually work either. It fails. Humorously we even verified the card info on file was up to date/valid at the office during check-in to avoid what we knew could be a problem later and they even charged the co-pay to it initially. Not to mention insurance paid most of the bill already. If you go in to try and pay they tell you to call an automated # that you've already tried, doesn't have a human, and doesn't work and is part of the reason your there in the first place trying to resolve the issue (and then threaten to call the police when you try to explain the problem further). The texts look like some criminal organization got access to ConvenientMD database and the messages are coming from scammers even though they aren't. The most disturbing thing of all is those without text messaging (either because they have a landline or don't pay for text messaging presumably or the texts just fail, as texting is NOT a reliable solution for billing people by the very nature of how text messaging works, basically not all texts will go through to all users) who don't get the texts won't get a bill in the mail before the company sends a non-existent bill to collections. Nope. Crazy, right? I'm guilty of having taken multiple people to ConvenientMD Urgent Care on multiple occasions. I'd prefer to have used a private independent facility- as opposed to the Cheshire Medical Center, but this place is somehow even worse and it's only because of this 'all digital' system with no paper / cash fallback option. The doctor / initial receptionist was actually decent. There is a better system that some doctors offices now use and I know at least one place in Keene offers. It is a membership based solution to primary care where patients pay a flat monthly fee directly to the primary care provider, completely bypassing traditional insurance/billing. Looks like it runs about ~$70 / month as of Oct 2025. I intended to sign up with them years ago, but I think due to this most recent service I've been pushed over the edge and am going to make good on actually signing up. I'll have to ask if they take Bitcoin still. I know they were. read more

Awful. Even when you book an appointment ahead because you have sh*t to do they prioritize walk-ins over you so you will most likely have to wait anywhere from 40min to 90min in my experience. On top of the waiting room the doctors might also take a while making you wait even longer - screw this place! read more

I think the medical care team is competent, but the office experience is rough. No compassion or care, especially when you are stressed that your loved one is injured. Very cavalier in their communication. When they say no, they mean I don't want to talk with you or help you with another idea or solution. read more

Nothing convenient about this place. Today was my 3rd attempt at getting in there. I was turned away 2 times prior because I needed an appointment (odd at a walk in clinic). I called this morning to do just that and was told to wait in my car for my appointment. After waiting 40 mins, finally got a call from them to do registration. Then I was told it would be another 30 mins. When I explained my frustration, I was told they are short staffed and 3 people had walked in ahead of me. Does this make any sense?! When you're sick, the last thing you want to do is wait in your car for over an hour in the winter. I would not recommend this place. read more

I completely understand being understaffed right now in healthcare. But when someone comes in with a concern and it is thrown to the side I don't feel like I'm being properly taken care of. I'm freezing here, faint and dizzy, dehydrated, vomiting all day... and got declined fluids. Yet even after telling them I can't keep anything down they offer zofran and water which hasn't helped much. Especially on a completely empty stomach. Been sick for several days, have taken 3 at home covid tests, all negative so wanted to get PCR test. Called at 8am, had to leave message, after an hour no response so I went online to make an appointment, said 10 am was available, I chose it and put in the comments that I needed a PCR Covid test. Got there 20 mins early had to park in Applebees parking lot as the lot was full, stood in line 20 mins to get checked in. told the receptionist twice that all I needed was the covid test. Finally was taken in at 1020, nurse takes vitals and I tell her I just want the PCR test. She takes me to another room where I wait until 1045, Dr comes in and starts asking questions, i tell him , i don;t want xrays, I dont; want meds, I just need to know if I have covid so I know what I am dealing with. he apologizes and says there was nothing in the notes stating that, AARRRGGH, I have to wait again for the nurse and I hear someone in the hallway saying they need a PCR test kit but can;t find them. An hour after my appointment I finally got the test done. They need a better communication system. read more

LITERALLY THE WORST HEALTHCARE PLACE IVE EVER BEEN. The three times I went they misdiagnosed me every single time (one of the times I was literally dieing and they sent me home saying I had a sinus infection). This time all I needed was a covid test i came immediately when they opened, was told a time to come back, I came back at that time and was told to wait another hour and a half, so i did and then they told me I needed to wait another hour at least and I need to go to work!! Not professional, the staff was rude, not hurrying at all despite there being multiple emergencies, and they had pretty much no answers for any questions I had. read more

Unorganized and over crowded. Third time we have used the facility. First time, I was told my leg was fine, give it a few days, i should be able to walk. 2 days later after a visit to a HOSPITAL, x-rays showed my leg was in fact broken. Second time the receptionist and intake person laughed and joked for 45minutes forgetting to even do our intake paperwork. Took forever. Third time, line out the door. Put our name on the list and was instructed to sit in our vehicles since there was no more seating. Receptionist skipped over us because we weren't inside. Put us tot he back of the line. Healthcare is a joke in this country but you don't put people's health at risk because you can't do your job correctly. read more

Despite feeling awful, the process is nearly seamless and made my symptoms lessen from the time I arrived. The practitioner gave me a bunch of drama about coming there for allergy meds even though I was clear with him that I didn't have a PCP Biggest red flag was the practitioner still chewing his lunch and touching my face with unwashed hands that still smelt of his lunch. I called this keene nh location at 4:30/4:45/5:00/5:15 on Sunday December 6th. Each time I called it rang rang and rang and then went into a full voicemail box. Because of the Covid restrictions I wanted to find out what I should do when I arrive. Do I sit in my call and call? Do I walk in register and have a seat? These are common questions anyone would have. I ended up calling the Bedford location which is an hour away from where I live. (Keene is 20 minutes) Bedford told me what I would need to do when I got there so I drove over. I got there at 5:45 walked in and I was told the could not see me because they were booked up until they close at 8:00pm. Seriously! If they answered the phone it could of saved me a hour of driving there walking in and the driving home. Should be called Inconvenient MD because god forbid a patient takes up any of their time with a phone call. Believe me, their Marketing Director Claire D will hear about this the next time I see her at a chamber event. FYI, I never had this problem at the Concord or Bedford locations. read more

I just want to thank the doctor who "saw" my husband via Keene's Convenient MD telehealth yesterday. She did a very thorough assessment and told us he needed to be seen in a hospital emergency room ASAP. While she didn't tell us what she suspected, she was right. He needed to be seen immediately. He had a strangulated hernia, and it could have killed him had it gone on much longer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I had your name to thank you personally. read more

We came in right before it closed at approximately 7:40 , and apologized for being so close to the closing time. We were immediately told we couldn't go in because he didn't have his insurance card. There was about zero concern for him. We were told we'd need to pay 200 dollars, tell his insurance, or leave. Not only that, but when his friend pulled in at 8:01 and they ran over to the doors and locked them, in his face, before he could get in. His friend was here to support him and they wouldn't even let him in. They proceeded to talk about how shutting the doors was a good idea right in front of us. read more

I was very pleased with my visit to Convenient MD this past Sunday, everyone was professional and friendly. There was no long wait, I was in and out in an hour. I've gone to Cheshire Medical ER, and been there for hours waiting to be seen!! They drew blood and had the results in about 15 minutes. If I should ever need to be seen again when I can't see my own Dr. I will definitely go there again and recommend them to my friends. read more

Beware they extort a '75.00 non-refundable co-pay fee to keep on file' even if you have 100% coverage. They will refuse care if they are unable to exact this from you. Nor can they articulate what they do with these funds. Very suspect business practice. read more

When an ER nurse comes into an urgent care, it's a big deal because normally we ignore or try to fix the issue ourself. So it is NEVER a good sign be speaking to provider and be made to feel like you are silly for coming in asking for help. It is NEVER a good feeling to be made to feel like you are wasting their time when you finally decide to ask for help. I believe I am a good nurse and I make every effort to provide care of the people who put their trust in me that is respectful. The experience, I had today is one I will never forget not only because I witnessed appalling treatment by making me feel I was silly and a waste of of but I will use this experience to ensure that the patients that walk through the door where I work will never be made to fill silly or stupid because they are asking for help. On a side note, I ended up going to an ER to get an xray......turns out my foot was fractured and my 3rd toe was dislocated. So I guess you could say it was a good thing that I put my trust and faith in a Emergency room instead of the urgent care that thought I was not worth their time. read more

I was in for a sore throat today. When I left I was given a "Clinical Summary Report". On this report was listed my vital signs and time they were taken. Out of the three people that I saw (nurse in the vestibule, triage nurse in the room, and the doctor) at no time during my visit were ANY of my vital signs taken! The report also indicated that I was given some medication while I was there and that I was also being sent with a prescription. I did not receive any medication while I was there nor did I receive a prescription. I went back in to clarify as I did not want to be charged for something that I wasn't given and I wanted to inform them that at no time were vital signs taken therefore I didn't know how they were on the report. All they said to me was that I would not be charged for medications I was not given. At no time did they address that fact that NO ONE took VITAL SIGNS while I was there. With the COVID-19 pandemic shouldn't they be taking temps on everyone! Especially someone complaining of a sore throat!? They are also falsifying records with listing vital signs that were never taken and medications that were never given! This is very alarming!!! What else is getting missed or falsified!!! read more

When I visited, I paid for my appointment upfront. This is standard, especially as I'm uninsured. I was there with my daughter, and in and out in 45 minutes. The staff were pleasant, and the facility was very clean. I've seen other reviews about paying upfront, and waiting. These are normal practices. I found my pay was fair, and the wait was short in comparison to other practices in the Keene area. Personally, I was VERY pleased with my visit. read more
