They, being a HUGE operation, it seems that no two people can do the same thing or answer the same question!!! I must have had to deal with 5 or 6 different people (Departments)...The "NO MY JOB" syndrome!!! Can't to this, Can't do that, and it we do, it'll cost ya!!! I cancelled and then had to pay a 10% RE-STOCKING FEE....( I must say, the Asst.Mgr. gave me a break... split the fee)...Oh yeah, REAMS AND REAMS OF EMAILS I HAD TO PRINT OUT.. So, I trotted on over to a Locally, Family Owned Carpeting Company... "SETTERQUIST"!!!! Gosh, dealing with Scott, who showed me the samples, took care of and set up the appt's for the measuring, answering questions about the moving of furniture and MY STUFF... All was arranged in a couple of days and in a matter of days, Jeff and Tom arrived and did the job!!!! So efficient and did everything we asked... SWELL GENTLEMEN... Great..They work for the Company!!!!! Not a sub-contractor!!!. I also dealt with Phil and and Tanya in the main store in Naples... We only had a few calls back and forth. ... I worked with Rebecca and she was so nice, and very patient with me. I changed my mind quite a few times! I went with a modern pattern carpet and I love it! When the installer started, I realized the pattern made the installation a lot more complicated. He was definitely experienced and he took his time to install the pattern perfectly. I was also very impressed with how much time he spent prepping for the new carpet. He took a lot of care to clean up all the old glue and mess the builder had made. Highly recommend.

When he did finally install he did not clean up after himself and left a piece of carpet missing from the top stair. Several hours later, I received a return call from someone who was frantic, asking me if I left a message, and when I said yes, they said Oh, thank god, we are changing out phone system and they weren't sure if I called and left a message or not. Which made no sense. Anyway, she asked for my number and assured me someone (the "president," Tricia) would call me right back and would be able to answer all my questions. I never received a call back. Several days later, when I called again, Tricia, the president, was very curt with me on the phone and said, I'm looking at a list of messages, and I don't see yours. I proceeded to explain the reason I was calling - floor repair - and she made an appointment with me to come to my home and give me an estimate for the repairs needed to my wood floors. Well, appointment day rolled around and no president. I even left a message in the morning for Tricia confirming our appointment with gate code instructions, and there was no return call and no Tricia. It's been almost a week; still no return call or president at my door.

I have used Britts carpet for over 15 years and always had a good experience,…read moreI don't know what happened BUT this time was a nightmare. we purchased the Vinyl Plank Flooring they came out to measure; they gave us an estimate for the materials and labor to install ,they added some prep work as well for the floors. we agreed on a price , we gave a deposit and scheduled the work. The few days before the installer called and wanted to come a day early which was the 4 of July, I said not a problem, I did tell him we need some floor prep I wanted to make he was aware. now the day of installation the head guy comes in crazy like he did not know we had to prep the floors ,this is more work then he was told , now he is telling me it is going to cost me $5000 more if I wanted it done right , well of coarse I want it done right but I am not spending $5000 more .I have a estimate already and a contract for a specify amount , $5000 is more then the Floor product cost . let me mention this is only 1000 sq ft area. so after 1 hour of going back and forth trying to get these guys to do the floors, they left the JOB. Since it was a holiday, I had no one to speak with , so the following day I told Britts my experience, they apologized for this told me they will talk with the installer, they never offer to get another installer out, I never hear don't worry we will make this right for you, " Just I am sorry this happened." so I said just charge me for the floor material I will find an installer, they delivered the floor to my house . I am very disappointed with their follow through on this I guess they are so busy right now losing a long time customer doesn't matter.
