See the original review below. Original 1 start review: We were scheduled for an in person quote 11ish days ago. The guy came out and verbally told us a dollar amount. We requested a written quote. If we are quoted several thousands of dollars we would like it in writing. Instead of taking our email address he gave us his card and told us to email him to get the quote. Really? Against my better judgement, I emailed him for the quote. Fast forward a week later, still no quote. I called the phone number listed on Yelp and was told, "No problem we will email a quote within a few minutes." Fast forward 3 hours later, no quote. We contacted Automatic Gate Masters, AKA Contra Costa Gates, late on a Friday afternoon. Matt came out the following Monday to see what our problem was with our old GTO PRO Gate Operator. This unit was very old and after discussing our options with Matt we opted to have a new Lift Master Gate Operator installed . Matt sent us an estimate that afternoon. After reviewing and doing a little more research to assure they were the company we wanted to go with I contacted Matt 2 days later to accept his estimate. Matt promptly ordered the unit we decided on and called the very next day to set up the Install for the following Monday. Everything went smoothly. Our new gate operator install was completed that day and working. We did have a few basic questions after the installer left . I contacted Matt after hours the next day and he promptly returned my call within 30 minutes. He answered all my questions and returned the very next morning to install our internet gateway for access with our smart phones and helped us set up my husband's car with HOMELINK® to open and close the gate. I was told that they service our area (Napa County), and that a technician would be visiting us between 1-3pm. At 3pm I hadn't heard from anyone so called back and was told that they are based in San Jose and do not service the North Bay. The operators at the call center had never heard of Contra Costa Gates. The motor on my gate door went out a while ago, I've collected some bids for a motor replacement. Roei had the gate operator in stock and got the old motor swapped in a single day. He took the extra mile for us and changed all the wiring and re welded the motor brackets. I like having pros not cutting corners and he was absolutely superb! The communication was great also!
