We couldn't be happier with our experience with Continental Custom Iron Works (CCI)! Our custom entrance gate is absolutely beautiful--substantial, elegant, and clearly crafted with great care and attention to detail. The entire team was wonderful to work with, from design and fabrication to modifications and recommendations. One of my favorite details came from a design I wasn't sure how to execute. They suggested using their laser-cutting technology to mimic the tile design surrounding our front door, and the result was perfect. It made the gate feel truly custom to our home. A special shout-out to Tommy, who worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect; Luis, who kept an eye on things; and Gabriel, who never let the ball drop and kept us updated throughout the process with pictures and communication. We paid upfront and received a substantial discount, but regardless, this is a quality product that is absolutely worth the investment. We love our gate and highly recommend CCI for their craftsmanship, creativity, and exceptional customer service! read more

Absolutely amazing workmanship, planning, review, and realization of the project from start to finish. Luis made the initial plans exactly as I requested to help me get the right fit for a custom iron job that needed to fit City of San Diego Historical requirements. Most other custom iron companies avoided calling me back once they learned I needed professional plans and schematics. Gabriel took over the project for final stages and oversaw all tweaks and fixes to get to the final project approval and finish. They updated me every week on progress and eloquently described all specifics and options to the final look before installation. Tommy was amazing, he came to the house and created the template for a difficult curved design for both sets of stairs. He provided expert installation and even returned for any minor discrepancies that needed to be addressed in the most timely and attentive manner. Hands down best experience from start to finish. Pricing was very fair and comparable to other bids. Do not go with the cheapest option, you will get what you pay for. read more

CC Iron (Luis, Tommy, Gabriel) were the best people we've worked with, maybe ever. The black gate/fence in the photos is the photo we gave to them, and the blue gate/fence is what they delivered - it's absolutely beautiful and better than we were hoping for! Every bit of it is smooth and perfectly manufactured. From my first email to them, they have gone above and beyond. Luis responded almost immediately and asked all the right questions, including if our HOA had approved the project (which we hadn't even thought of, being new homeowners). They came out to look at the project only about 3 hours after that and gave us the best bid we had received. They took the measurements right then, and we were off and running. Gabriel sent us photos throughout the whole process and kept us informed about what was going on. When Tommy and his team came to install the gate/fence, we were put right at ease. The whole thing was wrapped up securely in carpet and plastic. And, the team was clearly highly skilled and experienced. I wish all our new home projects had gone even remotely this well. I can't thank you enough, Luis, Tommy, and Gabriel. read more

CCI ran a special promotion that I was leery of taking advantage. It was a pay in full at the time of contract in exchange for a discounted price; a great deal, with professional measurements, custom 2D design drawing to customer's specifications, manufacturing/fabrication and installation. Paying thousands of dollars up front without an installed product was concerning, but Tommy the owner, his son and office/sales manager, Luis, assigned a project manager (Gabriel) to keep me abreast of the manufacturing/fabrication process. I received updates and pictures during the fabrication process. The end result was two beautifully iron gates that replaced wooden fences. Great service. Great value. And a great finished product. read more

Luis and Tommy are incredibly hard workers. They were responsive to every question we had, flexible to find a design within our budget, and prompt when it came to getting the template and finally installation. They provided updates every few days including the original computer design, the 3D rendering, and multiple progress photos. Not only were they wonderful to work with, but they did an absolutely flawless job on the railing. Each piece fit on the first try, the color is gorgeous, and Tommy paid great attention to every detail, down to making sure the shoe and the screws were painted to the same color as the railing. Kudos! To Tommy and Luis at Continental Custom Iron Inc. my experience with them to fabricating a galvanize steel gate with Alaskan cedar lumber was done very professionally, Knowledgeable and easy to communicate. I presented them the measurements and plans that I drew up into details afterwards. Tommy decided to take a 1 Hour drive to my property without my knowledge to re-take the measurements and survey and take into of Account that there was a 3 inch slope, unleveled walls that the Posts were to be secured this would have cause a problem. But Tommy's extra effort to take this into account made the installation go without a hitch they did additional work that was not called for in the contract, but they did not leave until everything was done the right way one of the entrance to my beautiful home in Carlsbad near the beach. The final product came out much better than anticipated.
