Fiderio & Sons

We used Fiderio to replace shutters on our house, and to rebuild our front porch (replaced railings…read moreand posts that were rotting/bowing/peeling wood with no maintenance Azek). Mike came out to check it out and give us a quote. He was super professional and gave us a quote on the spot. He had books for us to check out all our different options for shutters and railings, and said for bigger jobs, you can go to the showroom to check out materials. I personally loved the convenience of sitting on my front porch and picking everything out! He was patient and let us flip through the books and never once made us feel like he was in a rush. We put a deposit down on the spot. Our ability to do the project was dependent on another contractor doing stone work on our porch first. Fiderio was great about scheduling around them and getting the work done quickly once the stone work project was complete. They did their work fast and cleaned up without a trace. The prices are fair (let's be honest, home improvement projects are never cheap!) and the service and quality of workmanship is fantastic! I haven't even received my invoice for final payment, and I'm already eyeing my back deck for replacement....when I'm ready, I will definitely call Fiderio!

Fiderio & Sons is a super, dependable family owned business. I would be extremely likely to…read morerecommend their services. My project was to replace siding & deck boards on my home. Scott, the remodeling specialist, was my first point of contact. From the moment I met him, I knew I could rely on his calm, reassuring manner. He diligently attended to details and earned my trust and respect through his consistent professionalism in all our interactions. The team did a great job and were quick and efficient. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up and completed the project quickly as scheduled. From the office staff such as Marie and Margaretanne, Paul, Scott, and I wish I could remember, the "guys" names, I could honestly say they are all aboard and united in working together as a team to provide a valuable service to their customers, no matter how large or small the job.

Window Nation Hartford

It started out where an inexperienced sales person came out to quote the project. It turns out…read moreafter I put the order in, the salesperson added tempered glass to the order even though we talked about it and I said I didn't want it. I only found out that the windows were tempered is when the installers asked why I went with tempered, it wasn't needed. Still dealing with Hartford for some sort of refund for this. The Install was ok, however, they didn't clean the windows when done and there are still marks on the outside and the silicon glue drippings on the windows. There are gaps where the corners meet outside, which should be caulked. No one showed me how to take out the slider windows so I can clean them. Some of the flex screens do not fit properly. Some of the windows are hard to open and close when trying to clean the outside, was told this was normal. They sent out a person to fix the outside corners, but failed to bring a ladder for the second floor. He tried to fix it by hanging out the windows but said he couldn't do it. So I waited about a month and they were coming out again, I took the day off of work, they were a no show and when I called the central scheduling office was aware they needed to cancel, but they didn't call me to let me know ( wasted a personal day). Waiting about a month later and they did come out, but with no ladder and the guy said he was going to hang out the windows, the same windows he tried before and said he couldn't do it. I wouldn't let him in. I then waited about a month and half and they are coming out in a week or so, not sure if they will have a ladder or not. I have now wasted 3 personal days. They are only going to "fix" the windows that show a large gap, and I think they should fill all the corners. The installers didn't clean up the outside area, there was a ton of white shaving - ( looked like shredded cheese, Ha HA). The windows were installed in July 2024 and still waiting for the job to be completed and its April 2025. They do not return calls. The person I first dealt with regarding the uncharge on my account said that Window Nation would fix the issue and refund the difference and give me something for my troubles. This person had moved to a different position in the company and didn't let the new guy know nor, returned any of my calls, texts and emails regarding the issue. Still haven't been refunded or credited for my troubles. I did all my windows with them, 17 of them, and it was at least to me a very large investment and I wish I could turn back the clocks and go with another company for all the problems I am having. I wish I saw these reviews before I went with them. Pretty much have the same issues

We bought windows and doors from Window Nation and they are NOT on the IRS list for TAX rebates…read morefor Energy Star ratings the Harvey windows and Doors sold to us are not excepted as energy efficient according to the IRS. We talked to their sales man about Tax rebates for filing and they don't have a PIN- but did not disclose that to us. So TAX time comes around and we lose $3000 in IRS Energy Star write off as a home owner. Window Nation do better disclose this to your customer -
