Which is exactly what happened to me. They made sure I knew it was optional, but since I was having an issue with my eye I wanted to rule out corneal damage by doing the medical part. But Dr Morais is thorough and does help you find your prescription! I buy my glasses online and he didn't hassle me at all about it. The availability is pretty open too, the door says they accept walk-ins. I walked inside Walmart then to the Vision Center and through the back, but there's actually a door where the vending machines are outside that are clearly labeled. I have attached a picture in case it helps anyone.

My daughter (6) was having trouble reading the board at school even while wearing her glasses so I decided to bring her here despite two other optometrists insisting that she didn't inherit the BVD. Dr Conte was able to diagnose her with BVD and write her a prescription to help, with the possibility of vision therapy in the future. She has ADHD that we are struggling to treat and she was very hyperactive in his office. Not only was he calm and patient with her but he told us that there's a link between BVD and ADHD and gave us a copy of a book that he wrote about it. So far it is a good read, and it's short and easily understood. Both Doctors are great and we've had good experiences with the rest of the staff as well. They do thorough testing for me for other specialists I see that need to know how my retinas and optic nerves are looking to know the progression of other chronic disorders. Very knowledgeable and very helpful people.

I had no idea this kind of eye care even existed previously. I had so many issues with my eyes in battling life long Lyme disease and I was very worried I would lose my eye sight. I also was having extreme issues driving and learned from Dr. Conte that this was due in large part to the eye brain connection. After 6 months of weekly eye brain therapy I can drive myself more safely. Dr. Conte is truly a gem and I am so grateful to him.

Worst Eye Exam Experience…read more This was by far the worst eye exam experience I've ever had, starting with the front office. I simply did not feel welcomed, and the entire visit felt rushed from beginning to end. I was charged two separate fees during my initial visit because I had an exam for both contacts and glasses, even though I believed these services were covered by my insurance. When I later called to make a simple adjustment/addition to my prescription, I was told I needed to come back for another eye exam--and another fee--even though I had been seen less than four months ago. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with over the phone quoted me the wrong cost for the exam, which added even more frustration and confusion to an already disappointing experience. I've already called to express my concerns and file a complaint, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Now I'm being charged again for an eye exam within four months of my previous appointment. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service, communication, pricing information, and way this entire situation has been handled. I expected much better from an eye care provider and will not be returning.

I won't name names, but the eyewear ordering process has been a complete disaster. I ordered new lenses for my existing frames, and here's what happened: 1. The lenses didn't fit my frames, even though I left them there. I waited two weeks for a reorder. 2. The reordered lenses arrived, but they were not the transitions I had requested. Another reorder, another two-week wait. 3. When the lenses finally arrived, they had been shaved down too much and didn't fit properly--yet another reorder and another two-week wait. To make matters worse, I later found out they had actually received the lenses on March 10th, but no one informed me. It was only when I followed up on March 19th that they finally located them. Throughout this ordeal, there were no updates or follow-ups. After this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere--I've heard great things about Costco.

He did a thorough eye exam, even checking my eye pressure but couldn't find any real reason for my condition & gave me steroidal lubricating eye drops & told me to lessen the time I spent looking at my computer & phone screens. The eye drops seemed to help but the irritation returned after finishing them. So I began using a gel eye lubricating drop with high ratings on Amazon. That did the trick as well as limiting my screen time. I would highly recommend the Nethery Eye Assoc & Dr Zhou.

Making an appointment was beyond easy via phone or online, & pre-appointment paperwork was even easier to complete online. Open hours are extensive & include Saturdays - YEAH! We were greeted by super friendly staff, had a thorough exam and consult with Dr. Poyner (she is SO smart, patient & efficient), viewed the THOUSANDS of eyeglass frame options, and Cory setup our order. Also, at time of this review, they offered a discount when ordering multiple glasses - WOOHOO! FYI, they DO sell contacts if you are not into eyeglasses. Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot, and location is proximate to TCU & not far from I-20, I-30, or Chisholm Trail Tollway.
