I have been a customer of Desi's for approximately four years, but after my most recent experience,…read moreI have decided to take my business elsewhere. Earlier this year, I paid more than $8,000 for gasket-related repairs on my Porsche Macan, with the cost shared between my warranty company and me. Less than four months and roughly 5,000 miles later, I brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change and was told I needed another gasket repair costing over $5,000. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately began questioning whether the original issue had been properly resolved. What made the situation even more concerning was that I had to return shortly after the initial repair because the oil warning light came on almost immediately. I was given an explanation related to oil specifications, but during that visit a large bolt under the hood was also discovered to be loose, appearing to have been left unsecured during service. That significantly impacted my confidence in the quality of the work being performed. When I asked that the warranty company be contacted regarding the latest repair recommendation, I was later told the claim would not be covered because the issue was attributed to "warpage." This did not align with the explanations, photos, and information I had previously received regarding the original repair. As a customer, I was left confused and with far more questions than answers. I am currently seeking a second opinion from another repair facility, but this entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and inconvenient. After reviewing several years of invoices and repair records, I no longer have confidence in the value, consistency, or quality of the service I received. I understand that Porsche repairs are expensive and that unexpected issues can arise. However, customers deserve clear communication, transparency, and confidence that major repairs are diagnosed accurately and completed correctly. Unfortunately, my experience did not provide that confidence. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it. My advice is simple: get a second opinion before authorizing major repairs. I wish I had done so sooner. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

Ward's was able to get me in the next day, do the repair under the warranty with no problems and they actually used a better (factory-dealer) part than the original repair place. Admittedly I was nervous pulling behind a ramshackle house but luckily I didn't judge this place by the cover and neither should you. Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 here initially looking for just an oil change and tire rotation. Quoted me HALF of what the dealership wanted, made useful (but not pushy) suggestions, and ultimately left me in charge, not trying to upsell me whatsoever. I made an appointment with them and dropped my vehicle off at 7 AM. They gate was still closed, so…read moreI left a typed note explaining that I wanted an HVAC diagnostic because the system motor was working, but it wasn't blowing either hot or cold air. I added that the actuator was moving and the heater hose was getting hot, but the air coming through on any setting was neither hot nor cold. So I wanted a diagnostic to figure out what was wrong. I also wrote that on their envelope before dropping my key in their box. Their lot was so packed, I had to park in an overflow lot across the street. By 11 AM, I hadn't heard from them, so I decided to give them a call to make sure they found my vehicle in the overflow lot and to confirm my notes. I called them 14 times between 11 AM and 3 PM and there was never an answer. Their voicemail message said to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hours. But I didn't have 24 hours. I needed my vehicle back the same day. I called an Uber to take me back there after 3 PM to find out what was going on and that's when I finally got a call. But I was already less than a block away. When I went in, they said they were calling to tell me exactly what I told them in my notes and when I made the appointment, that the AC wasn't working and they wanted to know if I wanted them to run a diagnostic. After 8 hours, they did nothing to my vehicle other than turn on the heat and AC and only told me it had the very same problem that I brought it in to have them diagnose. According to them, the appointment was just a placeholder and did not impact when vehicles are serviced, which defeats the entire point of an appointment. They said I should have told them if I needed my vehicle the same day, even though nobody was there when I dropped it off and nobody was answering the phones. As for the phone calls, they said they only had 1 person answering 5 lines and that's why none of my 14 calls over 8 hours were answered, and it was my responsibility to leave a message ... in spite of the fact that their voicemail said it could take them 24 hours to respond. I've been here before and the service was much better than it was today. Those days, I'd give them 5 stars. But the absolute minimum I need for someone servicing my vehicles is that they have someone to answer at least 1 of 14 phone calls, and that they pay attention to the reason I dropped my vehicle off in the first place.
