This place is legit. I meal prep but I HATE washing all my Tupperware every single day. I had no idea a place like Containerland even existed on island. I was about to pay way too much to have containers shipped from China. Thank God I stumbled upon the yelp reviews for this place. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. I got my large bento boxes a pack of 25 for $7.59. I got 100 boxes total for $31. Seriously, a steal. The people weren't too friendly, but whatevs. I'm just there for some boxes. However, I highly underestimated how difficult it was to find this place. I started yelling at Siri because she didn't seem to know where the hell she was going. When you get there and start driving through the different areas (something fitness will be in the first building on your right) keep going to the end of that, you'll have to go right or left, go left and it's at the end of that on the right. I drove around aimlessly for a while, but once I found it, I was in and out in a few minutes. I will be back again next month when I'm out of boxes :) read more

Good supplier of a broad variety of food containers in smaller quantities for small businesses. If you have a small eatery or dessert business you should know of Containerland. Prices are fair when you are buying small quantities--not cheap. Owners are very nice and helpful. Little difficult to find and helpful to know when it rains the entry to their driveway has allot of water in front, so drive in slowly. read more

They have moved and I finally got to check out their new location. Location is easy to find if you know what their banner looks like. But they are located right next to Grace Pacific, they occupay what looks to be an old NAPA storefront. There is a designated parking area in front of their store, but if it is full, there is street parking. Upon walking in the register is to the left of the store and their layout is a little different from their previous location. So it will take a couple visits for me to remember where everything is. Reason for me going there was to pick up more containers for my macarons that I bake. There is a container that I buy from them and use them to ship macarons because of the sturdiness of the container. But sadly the were all out. Mike (owner) did make a few suggestions for me which worked out great. I also showed him a specific container that I am trying to order and the he should consider carrying in their store. Containerland speaks for itself. It literally has just about every container need you can think of. They also carry party supplies (utensils, food trays, cupcake papers, etc.) This spot is my go to spot when I need party paper goods. They're affordable and it's pretty much a one spot shop. read more

I have no idea why this place never existed when I had my first child. Well, they did..but I had no idea they existed lol. I heard about this place from my cousin, who heard it about it from a family friend. With my baby's first baby coming up, we weren't having a BIG party like we did with my eldest, but still needed some things for the kids goodie bags. I thought of this place again when I saw that one of my friends got her containers from here for her daughter's first birthday. A small space but with every single container you could think of. Im glad to have found out about this place, because they have containers for everyone's needs and at an affordable price as well! read more

I went to this shop for most of my packaging needs when I first started my baking biz in March 2015. Found out about it from fellow baker friends. It's a bit hard to find at first but once you find it, no problem at all. I like that they have a bunch of different packaging options for super cheap. However, they're cutie service is almost non-existent. Most times I would walk in and no one was around. The lady who always rung me up was always nice though. read more

Why have I not heard about this place?! I came across it when I googled "bento containers". I've been going to Walmart for all my baking container and pan needs which is kind of out of my way as I live in Kalihi. But there was a container place right there in Mapunapuna the whole time! I think I have found my new favorite store. Our family is doing a fundraiser for a relative that has passed and I needed mini loaf pans with lids, 8x8 pans with lids and cookie bags. It was all there and for really good prices. The aluminum pans aren't as flimsy as the ones I've been buying for cheap at Walmart and they actually can withstand a hand wash so I was able to use the pans twice. Now the only question is....what can I bake next so I can go back for more aluminum pans and bento containers? Hmm... Also, I won't deduct a star for this but the parking is really small..not unless there's a back or side parking somewhere that I didn't notice. I could see it being a problem if it were crowded but luckily the times that I've been there, they weren't busy. read more

There is a secret alternative to GBC and PartyCity if you need containers. The price is nice and the variety is great! Containerland is awesome! It is a fantasyland of containers. All shapes and sizes! Endless fun could be had by filling these lovely containers. I remember my first visit with friends. We walked around for a half an hour perving out on containers fantasizing what kinds of things we could fill them with. I love the products they have! They have it all when it comes to disposable containers/party supplies. Although I am not a fan of the "warehouse" feel, I like that you can find any type of container you can need! When I first entered the store there was no staff around. If this happens to you just ring the bell and someone come will come out to help you. Happy container shopping!! read more

It is hard to find this place. If my Aunty never told me about it or how to get here, I would never know about this place. It's hidden all the way in the back, left side in the E building. She came here for small cups/lids for jello and told me about it since I was looking for some packaging for favors/centerpieces. The guy working there was helpful and tried to give me some ideas for what I can do. They have mostly food containers...bento boxes, cups/lids, cupcake containers, cake containers/boxes, packaging. They also carry party supplies like streamers and table cloths. Containerland has eco friendly items as well. They are open 7-3:30 and closed on weekends. read more

I love this place!! Super friendly people . Helpful to!! Cheap and good stuff . Will always come here

This place has every kind of container imaginable for such great prices! Come here for supplies for all the kids birthday parties. Utensils, cups, plates, take out containers. I also make lunch for my bf so their microwaveable bento containers are so helpful and worth the money. They have cupcake cups for the kids class parties and also cups with lids for pudding cups or slushies. They have jars for pickled mango, Styrofoam bowls for take out pastele or oxtail. They have such a variety and I never knew this place existed until I decided to yelp it. I always forget to take pictures. Those will be up soon as I know I will be back. read more

Love this place. There's pretty much everything and anything in here. I just wanted to buy the whole store.

This place is a great place to get any kind of container you need. They also have other miscellaneous items like Pure Castle Soap much cheaper than buying in the store and their containers are so much cheaper than you can get in the store. I buy the luau trays and pay less than one cent per tray. In the local stores I pay anywhere between $4.59 to $5.99 for just 50 trays. The stores are a rip off. Containerland is the best!! read more

Wow. This interesting spot has a container for everything. The "Maps" app will try to make you turn right on Puuloa street but you can't. It's on Mapunapuna st. On the right side when you are headed makai. It seems very reasonably priced with a wide selection of containers. I found myself wondering what I could do with each container I saw, even if I didn't need it. LOL. read more

I go here at least once a month.. they always have what I'm looking for when it comes to cake boxes, cake boards, plastic containers (and utensils), jars, etc.. Always super nice and helpful too.. a bit of a pain to find the first time, because it's in an industrial strip. You'll see "Fitness USA" all the way in the front by the road (if that helps)..Just drive thru the little road there to the end and turn left..across from he paint supplier (Glidden, I think?). *new location is located on the road behind bank of Hawaii read more

Dropped by looking for bakers' boxes. Not only found exactly what I needed (in a variety of sizes) at a great price, but I took a look around the store and saw just about every kind of container I could imagine. The service was great too, from the nice guy walking the floor and helping direct customers to what they needed among the extensive inventory, to the friendly woman at the checkout. Overall, the kind of place I like to give my business. I'll be back often. read more

Cool place to go if you are looking for different containers, especially for bentos or baked goods etc. Be aware though, it's not that cheap here. Also, it was hard to find because they moved and they didn't have a sign up to indicate their store, read more

My ratings and posts are very TRUE and HONEST!!! To think this is "just a container store" but believe you me...if you bake, cook, have a food business, or anything that has to do with sealing in a container, box, cup, or any other odd and hard-to-find object to seal...THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Why 5-Stars??? Let's start with parking...PLENTY (parallel, parking slots...yes you can borrow the other Company's spot) and as many times I've shopped here there were no problems looking for parking. Immediately when you walk in you're greeted by the Employee (or even the Owner or Grandpa who's occasionally there). Make a quick turn to the right after entering and your eyes will just wander as far as it can go, mind you, this is a TINY Shoppe!!! They...have...EVERYTHING!!! Bento boxes, Bento bowls, plastic containers in every shape and size with lids (flat, domed, with holes, without holes, etc.) Keep walking and you'll find the plastic section, moving on down you find the foiled section, moving on down you'll find the eco-friendly recycable section. This place is crazy packed when many things you never knew existed! They have containers for those sandwiches that you cut into triangles. They have cups with domes that you find at Starbucks or Tea Bubble drinks stores. Ice cream bowls. Dessert trays and displays. Brown or white Bakery boxes. Gloves, aprons, wax sheets, hot dog foil wrappers...need I go on??? I first discovered this place through a friend who has a Cupcake business. And they weren't kidding when they told me they have holders and boxes for ANY amount!!! One of my visits I was helped by a local gentleman asking if I needed any help or inquired what I was making/doing for what I needed. Come to find out he was the Owner and I can say he is/was THE MOST humble and friendly person to talk to and answer any questions I had regarding what I was looking for and what I needed. In a nutshell, this Shoppe tucked all the way in the back back back of warehouses on Dillingham right next door to Marukai. Don't give up and think you've reached the end to the very back because there's more to drive in to find this little hidden gem!!! I am and forever be their loyal customer not because they have everything...but their prices are reasonable and affordable...and sometimes thinking they sell some of the items for too cheap (SHHHHH...you didn't hear that from me!!!) read more

Ever since the first day I shopped here, I've been going ever since. I have a small baking business and I used to buy all my supplies at Ben Franklin's and Wal-Mart but now, I can get a variety of containers, boxes and more for anything and everything I need for all my baked goods. They have colorful cupcake liners, cupcake containers from individual to 12 packs, clear cake containers and cake circles and boxes. Recently, they brought in cute and colorful 10 inch cake circles! So awesome! I also buy cups, lids and straws for the bubble teas that I make for my son. As for takeout containers for other things like bentos and potluck meals, there is a huge variety available. Seriously, this place is just amazing! I am so glad that I found it! I go there almost every month for my baking supplies. Best place for containers! read more

Sooooo many different types of containers!!! Including poi bowls yhat I was looking for!! It may not be a huge store but there is a good variety and good prices. There is going to be a large number of things I am going to miss about being in the military.. Among those things like the brotherhood,(male and female alike) the amazing places you get to travel and the people you meet along the way who shape you into the person you have become or will soon become.. But highest among those is the generosity people have and feel towards a service member and a veteran.. I was just in a store called ContainerLand right off of Nimitz Highway, where I was picking up disposable containers in order to meal prep for Lauren's bikini contest, which is out of town this weekend, and I was just about to checkout and was making conversation with the gentleman behind the counter, where we talked back the various places I've been while on active duty and the connections I've made, when he said to me out of the blue he says "No charge for you man, thank you for you service." I was blown away. This man not knowing who I was, where I come, or any of the things I've done, haven't done, accomplished or haven't accomplished, felt the need to make my life a little bit better simply because of the uniform I was wearing. I hope I able to make a million impressions in the future on a service member or veteran the way that man made one on me today!! Cheers to you sir!! read more

This is the baker's packaging heaven! I like to pretend that I can cook and bake very well. I'm a pretty avid chef, mostly because it's both a hobby and stress reliever of mine. I can tell you one thing: when it comes to food, taste is only half the battle, my friends. The other half is presentation. I'll tell you one thing, even though your food is pleasing to the eye, the packaging can take it a step forward or backward. Even if your food is the prettiest, being slopped on a paper or styrofoam Chinet plate wrapped in Saran wrap or foil takes it a step backward. That's where Containerland comes in! They have cardboard boxes for cakes and pies, cupcake containers for practically any number you want, big plastic platters, plastic containers of many designs, shapes and sizes, take out boxes, and pretty much anything you could want to pretty-fy your wonderful creations. This is probably the cheapest prices you will find for all your container needs! Hard to find location as its located in the warehouse area, but drive through the little road (or maybe it's the gas station's driveway?) between Marukai and the gas station (Tesoro?) to its right and go straight on that road until you can't go anymore and turn left, and you're there! Containerland is also known as Diamond Head Distributors or Island Distributors, so if you're looking for any of those, it's the same thing. They also supply to many of the stores, so whenever you see 6 plastic sushi boxes on sale for 4.99 at a store, keep in mind you can get like...100 for 10 bucks here at Containerland! read more
