From the moment I contacted their office, I found the staff to be not only responsive but also genuinely committed to addressing all of my questions and concerns throughout the process. One notable instance was when I sought legal advice; the team of lawyers was extremely helpful and forthcoming. I am profoundly grateful, especially to Anthony Mallilo, for his tireless efforts in securing the compensation I rightfully deserved for the pain and suffering I experienced. It is impressive that their office has been a trusted presence in the community for nearly 50 years, maintaining a stellar reputation without relying heavily on advertising--this truly reflects the quality of their work and the trust they have built with their clients. I wholeheartedly endorse their services and eagerly recommend them to my family and friends, confident that they will receive the same level of dedication and expertise that I experienced.

I strongly recommend against utilizing this law firm. I cannot in good faith recommend this law…read morefirm due to very poor service and excessive charging of said poor service. The attorney Steven Cohen disappeared from my case halfway through the process, and both Steven Cohen and attorney Allison Ramelson-Kert gave poor advice that nearly prevented me from achieving my goal in court. It was very disappointing to have Cohen and Ramelson-Kert offer no support to perform the final important services to help achieve my goal. Additionally, their billing department, specifically Keysy Gordon, is excruciatingly slow to respond and sends incomplete invoices. The experience with this law firm during an incredibly painful and traumatic time period only added to the pain. The value in this law firm is simply awful. Please stay away from this law firm. Save yourself further pain and wasted money during what is likely a trying time in your life.

But looking back, I realize it wasn't his effort that fell short, it was an extremely unfair judge. Through it all, he stayed committed to my case, stood by me when I thought about giving up, and fought hard to protect me from making mistakes that could have hurt me in court. What impressed me most is his character, when I apologized to him for how I handled things, he showed no grudges and continued to fight for me as if nothing had happened. That kind of integrity and dedication is rare. I would absolutely recommend Mr Holihan to anyone who needs an attorney that genuinely cares and stands firm for their clients, even under pressure.

So essentially, I got pretty shoddy service while he got an additional $7K for not very good representation. I do not recommend.

I'm still recovering from a broken ankle and walking with a walker, I cannot move right now at all. I was given a free lawyer by the city, but he didn't seem to care at all about my case. I had no choice but to drop him and hire Michael. I attached a picture of that Lawyer's reaction Apparenly Michael's made quite a name for himself!!! He struck a deal giving me free rent for the rest of the year, because he is a meticulous hero who found a flaw in my landlord's paperwork. He is a bloodhound! The first time I hired him (2016), he found a flaw in the paperwork my landlord filed to make it no longer a rent stabilized unit. I could have stayed with extremely cheap rent for the rest of my life, but I could not deal with the landlord who worked right downstairs anymore and left with a settlement instead. He really cares and pays close attention to your case. His fees are also extremely reasonable, not charging you a half an hour for a quick text message etc. This man is like a pitbull that was trained to landlords. I love him

This service is constantly touted by all kinds of sources and I've now attempted to use it 3 times,…read moreand each time, they reply that they don't have any lawyers to refer to suit my case. One of the major frustrations with looking for a lawyer is the massively arrogant and generally lazy way in which the legal profession just expects prospective clients to know and understand and have already figured out what very specific specialty they need .... The problem is that most cases have specialty overlap. It is a similar problem in the medical profession. It's very frustrating to think that I need to have a different lawyer for each facet of a case where it is actually the totality of the pieces that make the case at all. One would presume, then, that a referral service such as this is meant for specifically this kind of thing - synthesizing the situation to actually find options for representation who can handle it together. Otherwise, the average person is left to their google search and is subject to the arrogance and attitudes of attorneys and firms turning them down, or charging them loads of money to do very little.... It's really disheartening and it has become such that lawyers, for the most part, are standing in the way of justice, not helping achieve it.
