Floor to ceiling shelves, stuffed-and I mean stuffed-full of inventory. Clothing, dishes, trinkets, toys, hardware, art, you name it, they've got it. There's a certain "smell" in the place that even lends the it's authenticity. It's a cross between the basement in grandma's house and the old shed out back. Sadly, when I visited, I didn't get there early enough to properly browse through all the goodies, but I got a good enough glimpse to tell me that I want to go back. One item of note, that I'm not sure how to feel about...there was a collection of hat pins, one with a swastikas design. I understand that it is history, and technically an antique, but it did make me feel a little icky. Overall though, there are some amazing things in this shop and you could get lost for hours in here just looking through everything.

The value of the stuff they put out on the sales floor is absolute garbage compared to the stuff they throw away, they throw away over half of the donations they receive so don't even bother donating to them. they hardly have any selection that isn't Mormon approved or just is a Mormon product, I can't tell you how many good things I had to throw away because It didn't fit the Mormon image. They bully employees in front of customers even if the customers threaten to go to the state about, they refuse to put out chairs for cashiers that have arthritis or any other medical problem. They will purposely under staff the teams during Saturdays and refuse to help out when we get slammed fully knowing Saturdays are our busiest day of the week. They make fun of customers who don't speak English like it's their fault for not speaking English and found it absolutely insulting to have to translate everything back into the customer's language. To the awfull managers Dave, Natalie, Matt, Chris, and Pajmeena I hope you know how much I hate you, you made my life hell while working there especially you Matt. I will continue to say what I experienced while working for you.

They have discounts; while you can find kitchen everyday items that I may not bring with me. Sometimes, you just have to keep on coming in to see if they have collected new supplies that you may need. I also make sure to bring bags & boxes that they cloud use to pack customer items. Everyone is so helpful. At the end of the summer I always return the items back for them to re-sell.

I bet this was formerly a grocery store, meaning the interior is not giant, but they have a good mix of things. Upon first walking in, if you head to the very left of the store, you will find the cheapest stuff, some of it overstock, or more likely, expired or nearly so grocery items. A few examples: $0.25 gum or candy bars, $0.50 chips and other snacks, $1.00 cookies, nut butters, etc. Most of that is full of preservatives so you are probably safe if planning to consume right away. I nabbed a ton of gum, because what can even go bad in that, but follow your best judgment! Heading to the right from here, you will come across the standard grocery items, and many were the same price as a regular store, though still worth a look, as you never know what you'll come across. Bulk bags of flours, powdered milk and rice lie on pallets up front. Home goods live in the center, and there were some real surprises here: Instant Pots, Le Creuset stoneware sets, Keurig coffee makers, etc. Some of it is damaged or missing parts, so, like everything else in the store, do your due diligence and check it out, but there is a possibility for some real finds! Following that was some office/school supplies, baby items, toys, and finally clothing. The latter seemed to be poorer quality/no-brand as compared to the rest of the store, but it is still incredibly cheap if that is what you are looking for. If the book table employed employees like the people at the front, I would recommend this place. The employee at the "candy part" of the store was so engrossed with talking with her family/friend that she didn't even recognize there was somebody there wanting to buy something? I only had it limited in the amount of time because I wanted to get something for someone and I only had a few minutes to get something and run it over to them. After about 510 minutes of the employee talking to their friends/family member they gave each other a hug and the ones that I hope things go better for you or something like that. This store carries Fair Trade items and most of their products are displayed with information about where it came from. Example: Scarves or Headbands made from recycled Sari's.
