The huge wooden table outside is a giveaway for what's to come and you'll notice exceptional designs that come at a price. These folks use real wood and no MDF or Particle Board crap. This is absolutely a premier treasure trove with humongous wood slab samples the same way there are smaller furniture pieces you can grab from the floor. We took a look at the intricate wood detailing and knew we were in the right place. Tried to speak to a floor person but the owner's wife suggested we speak to him directly as he has a better handle on design. He was busy so we scheduled an early Saturday afternoon appt to talk to him about style and price. Mauricio was welcoming, knows his stuff and answered all our questions. But between an extremely hefty kitchen gut job+repair+cabinets+labor, we didn't want to break the bank for a small dining table. So when we gave him measurements for a 5' wood table with black metal legs, we were looking at $3,150. I get it...it's custom made. Eyes wide open. Not ruling these folks out yet. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a great place to get lost for a couple of hours.

I believe they finally refused it to me bc they realized that they wouldn't be able to get me to pay even more than the $121 extra they managed to gouge out of me! I reported them to Consumer Protection but they can't be held accountable legally bc they refunded my money. As a result, I will take my business elsewhere for the other furniture I need to purchase in the future & I suggest anyone reading this do the same.

He wrote up the sale and told me that he threw the protection plan in for free. I didn't question it because it had a 00 cost on the receipt. When I got home I reviewed the bill and realized he had actually added the plan to the cost and overcharged me the extra $200. I called and he tried to tell me the furniture was more money than was listed on the price tags. When I told him that was ludicrous, he said he'd have the charges reversed. A month later, it's still on my bill. Beware of this store! Check your receipt carefully!Don't shop here!

Update: Delivery next morning after I located the email on the website (not on the business card or…read morereceipt) and received assurances that it was on its way. Mattress is brand new, sealed in plastic and correct size. Different pattern on the mattress than in store. The receipt did not have a more detailed description of the mattress, but I recognized that it was from the same company. I still find store's written policy a little unnerving, but we have a mattress! ---------- I walked in today to buy a queen size mattress for which they promised delivery today between 4-8pm. Unfortunately, it has not delivered and no one is answering the phone. Getting delivery today was key to my purchasing decision, but now I see on the receipt that the store policy states that: - There will be no refund - All sales are final - No exchange after delivery - Delivery subject to change without notice - Etc. All of this is really worrying. If I have any good news to report, I will update my review.
