AMAZING service!! It's never an ideal situation when your new appliances just give out on you but I have to say Conrey's Appliance Service really makes this a worry-free experience. I know I'm in great hands and will get exceptional service! Juanita is very professional, kind and always providing prompt service! Parts were backordered and took longer than normal to arrive but Juanita kept me very informed, followed up with shipping status and provided ease throughout the wait. Jon and his assistant are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They get the job done quickly, efficiently and always with a smile-- even when our dog is right in the middle of their work space being nosey and wanting to be pet. The quality of their work and customer service, hands down sets them apart from any other service repair company I've dealt with. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Superlative service. They continued to call me even though I didn't see their phone messages so that we could have our washer/dryer the day before it was planned, which is what we wanted. They brought it, took the old ones away, and did it quickly. No mess. One of the work men explained how to use the both washer and dryer and gave us helpful tips. Both of them workmen were very kind and nice. I would buy an appliance from this company again. Highly recommend. read more

terrifying. well maybe cool if you are a cheat who wants to mess with an insurance company... Juanita is amazingly rude for starters on the phone. but the service...i guess if you have a service plan its ok. They sent a kid. He came five times to fix my dryer. Imagine how much that would have cost me. he never fixed it. my service plan replaced the dryer, and when it came and did not work..we discovered the 220 plug that was 20 years old was the problem. And the Whirlpool washer, well, it requires maintenance. it wants you to clean it or clothes come out grey. so they replaced the washer cause Conrey's couldn't fix it. so..if you have a service plan, are willing to go through ten service calls where you wait a week..well Conveys may be right for you if the phone rudeness doesn't turn you off. otherwise, gosh wish they'd go back to the mainland where they came from. and check out the reply immediately written blaming me..this is exactly who these awful people are. imagine. read more

The only appliance repair company I trust! After a couple of different appliance repair fails; we were a little discouraged with Lowes referrals for our warranty on the dishwasher. Until, the recent visit by Jonathan and his intern. Jonathan was generous with his time and talent and actually fixed the problem, same day! He arrives on time and in uniform; looks qualified and yep, he is! I appreciate that he also gives back by providing apprenticeship training for young people who deserve a chance to build their own opportunities in the trade. I manage several properties. Every time I call, Conreys comes within the window and does a competent job. Less than 24 hours after receiving my brand new range, I needed a service call. Anita from Conreys called and scheduled me even earlier than Kitchenaid had. Twelve days waiting for service became two. Perfect. Great service. John is a nice guy. Knowledgeable. Had a nice trainee with him. Everyone wore masks and distanced. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

I recently had problems with my Maytag washer; contacted the manufacturer and they contacted a repair company in Hilo (I live in Kona) - they never showed up. From the moment I spoke with Juanita at Conrey's Appliance Service, I knew we were in good hands. She oozed that aloha spirit we look for when dealing with local businesses , she set up an appointment within days, and followed through with a courtsey call. John , the owner was just as pleasant, found out exactly what the problem with our dishwasher was and had it fixed within a half hour. We could tell he knew his stuff and highly recommend him for any appliance issue you may have. Being a very picky condo owner it's always nice to have someone so kind, knowledgeable and fair for any problem that may arise, whether on island or back home. Juanita booked a diagnostic visit for our cooktop and within a few days John was there at our home. As it turned out, we had a 'user' issue (which John explained thoroughly) and not an appliance problem and so no further work was needed ... :-) Invoicing & Payment via their e-mail / online system was absolutely convenient ! (all vendors should go to this model). A nd YES, just as others have commented, their rates are very reasonable. John and Juanita are a GREAT team ! Going forward, we'll be reaching out to them for all our future appliance repair needs. Mahalo to Conrey's !! www.lakohouse.com read more

Highly recommend Conrey's Appliance Service. Been here 17 years and have used several service people, but Conrey's is definitely one of the best we have dealt with. The appointment was made in record time by his very cheerful assistant and John, the owner, showed up as scheduled right on time with his assistant. He determined the problem quickly, ordered the parts and he was back here about a week later to install. Delightful personality and knows his stuff, I was really impressed. We needed our Whirlpool washing machine repaired. We live in Kailua-Kona. We called Whirlpool, they made an appointment for us with Lake Appliance, in Hilo. The very next day Lake Appliance called and said they are not available for the Whirlpool appointment. Their schedule is full and it'd be at least 2-weeks before they were able to come out. A friend referred me to Jon Conrey of Conrey Appliance Service. We called left a message on Monday morning, we quickly got a call back saying Jon was in the area and could come that afternoon! Same day service - WOW! Jon was very professional, and friendly. He repaired our washing machine, he even took the time to check out our Whirlpool refrigerator's Ice Maker and gave us some advise and options. He'll be returning to make repairs to our Ice Maker. It is nice to be able to have confidence in a reliable Appliance repair company. They responded quickly to our message and Jon arrived when promised. I highly recommend CONREY'S APPLIANCE SERVICE! I've used Conrey's Appliance Service for a dryer repair and fridge diagnostic and service. Both times I had a prompt return call, an appointment scheduled in a narrow window, and John was prompt. He clearly explained the problem with each appliance, provided me with options and quotes, and was very reasonably priced. My invoice was sent post-service to my email and I was able to pay online with my credit card. I would not hesitate to call him again, or to recommend him to anyone else. Conrey's Appliance Service is top-notch. read more

I wish I could give ten stars. If you're in West Hawaii you need look no further. Returned my call the same day. Showed up right on time. A total pro. Went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. And reasonable rates too. read more

This is my second review for Conrey's Appliance Service. Our Frigidaire stack washer/dryer was under extended warranty. After a call the warranty company and being told "we don't have any repair contracts on Hawaii Island", I encouraged my husband to forget the warranty and call Conrey's again. They gave us great service two or three times before. I would rather pay than wait weeks for someone to maybe show up. A call to Conrey's and office staff member, Juanita gave us an appointment 5 days out. New Year holiday was part of the 5 days. John came at the scheduled time. He had our washer diagnosed and repaired in less than an hour. Their rates are very fair. By the way, we are still waiting to hear from the warranty company two weeks after first call. read more

Excellent customer service! Such a rarity -- calls were returned promptly, they follow up as promised and arrive when scheduled. And despite a somewhat stubborn repair, the job was done with patience and aplomb -- for a fair price. You won't be disappointed. read more
