Monday morning, I arrived 15 minutes prior to opening, where John and Luke were already ready to open up shop. I received a friendly greeting and they welcomed me in. I explained my situation while John checked me in and he assured me that I would be back on the road same day all while Luke was assessing damage and getting the parts to repair my vehicle. I was out the door at 0805 and they already began working on my vehicle. A little over 2 hours later they repaired my vehicle, changed the oil and did a thorough inspection to ensure the rest of my trip was a safe one. I couldn't ask for better! In my 2019 Chevy equinox Chevrolet decided to use a part in…read morethe breaking system that they knew had a history of failure and they had actually recalled from other vehicles. My daughter was driving my equinox during rush-hour traffic when this part broke, making her brakes almost as hard as a rock, and she barely avoided a collision with a full gasoline, tanker truck, who knows how many lives could've ended because of this brake failure. The broken parts then made their way into my engine, completely ruining my engine and making my car in operable. I tried contacting Chevy, but they have shown me that they do not care about my situation or apparently the safety of their customers. There has even been a new class action lawsuit filed because of all the damage Chevrolet choosing to use this part has caused.
