Right away, someone left in their truck to go grab cables from home and the other gentleman standing in there drove us back to our car and jumped it for us. Everyone we encountered was so nice. The lady working at the gas station and the two gentlemen in the building. I didn't catch any names. But thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping two strangers out. I was hoping for a bathroom stop, but all that was offered was a disgusting porta-pottie in the parking lot, no flushing toilets. To top it off, since I was tracking expenses on the trip, I noticed that although we got a receipt for $8.00 for our gas purchase (we topped off the tank), the amount that was charged to our card was $8.09. A lot more? No. But if I receive a receipt for $8.00, I should be charged $8.00. It leads me to believe this is a shady, cheat location trying to pass itself off as a big travel center, while it is just overcharging people for gas and offering porta-potties instead of flushing toilets - the standard at any "travel center".

We needed gas and our child NEEDED that bathroom. It was well kept too! With hot water ... which is something I like when I wash my hands with soap. The door said to "pull hard." So my child kept pulling and pulling and then he said in side "we're closed." My kiddo was disappointed but just walked away. A few seconds later we heard the door open and say, "do they just need the bathroom?" So, when we got in he let us all use the bathroom and chatted with us while we waited for each other. Can you say genuine CARE for strangers??? Not something you often see in the world and we (and our bladders) appreciated the kindness that he gave to us. THANK YOU!
