***Delivery Crew Danger***…read more I have achieved a new level of anger this evening, at the ineffective and lazy delivery men of AFW. On top of them throwing my couches, damaging my walls, being insanely rude to my wife, cursing, intimidating my wife about having to take pieces of our couch up a flight of stairs, and complaining the whole time they were here, I have now discovered that the American Furniture Warehouse delivery men helped me achieve a new level of CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION, by not even actually assembling the couch! Please tell me what was the purpose of the delivery?! What the actual fudge is the delivery fee for?! I only discovered this after I heard squeaking and grinding as we tried to recline and sit. And when I pulled on the top of the seats they all came apart. I have no idea if there is damage now and I cant begin to express my anger enough. This is the 2nd time AFW has failed massively. I realized as i came here to leave this review they botched our delivery for my daughter's bedroom set 4 & 1/2 years ago. I had forgotten that, and inadvertently i have given them another chance. Its good to see they consistently fail. My mistake. Smh.

If you are in the market for furniture and considering another store, do yourself a favor stop…read morelooking now. The customer service and quality here can't really be beat in my opinion. They are on parr with much more expensive retailers and would venture to say they exceed them without the diminishing returns. We have purchased from plenty of other big box stores in the past and Arhuas blew them away. The entire process and staff have been awesome apart from having to wait a while to receive our furniture but was very standard during the pandemic. We recently had an issue with our protection plan not initially being applied correctly and the team at Baybrook went above and beyond to rectify the issue immediately. Both the regional manager Christopher Mendyka and store manager Sutton Lindsey were super stars in making it right. They went outside of a normal response of deflecting the issue on the customer and offered solutions which is a rarity in today's world when it comes to customer service. I whole heartedly recommend shopping here without hesitation and want to say thanks to that entire team.

I had been looking at new bedroom furniture for the past year and finally decided on what I wanted…read more I had been to this location previously as well as a Star location in Austin, but at that point, I wasn't ready to commit. I went on Labor Day and of course it was busy. Everyone had on masks which was good. The woman that helped me was Maria. She was very sweet, but because it was so busy she was having to multitask. She would be helping me, then get paged to help another customer, then her phone would ring. She was trying her best to juggle it all. Since I already knew what I wanted, it was fine. One thing that I really appreciated is that she did not try to sell me a mattress that was out of my price point. One of the employees at the Austin location did that and it completely turned me off. The furniture that I purchased was on back order so I had to wait about two months for it to be delivered, but it wasn't an issue since there was no rush for the new furniture. Since I purchased a mattress I didn't have to pay the delivery fee which was nice. I was also able to finance it for a year which was also very helpful. When the furniture was delivered, the guys that delivered it were wearing masks and were very professional. I live on the third floor of an apartment so they had to carry everything up multiple flights of stairs and assemble the furniture. They worked quickly and didn't complain. The furniture order was accurate and it wasn't damaged. I love my new bedroom set and the mattress is so comfortable! It was definitely a great purchase.

I believe for 10,000 dollars or any amount of money Your purchase should be new and Free of defects. There are no more couches in stock so one is going to have to be made . They refuse to refund my money. Customer service was a nightmare. I highly recommend if you need furniture to consider gallery furniture. I have always used gallery and been 100% satisfied. If I only would have known the showroom couch Was not the same as the warehouse couch. One star is too good for my experience at star furniture. Don't bother calling the president as recommended on the brochure you just get circled back to customer service who have scripted responses. If I only read yelp reviews about star furniture Clear lake and saw 90% were only 1star I wouldn't be writing this review.
