Slow service, outdated software. Takes forever to go through the process. Spend some money on the structure of your business. The products are pretty good quality but the slow service and the process is almost cave man era. Invest to improve your business and you can have more clients. You have more options and quicker promised delivery dates use that and a quicker process and you will be doing great invest in better financial software. read more

Went to Conn's to look at some furniture and found them on the expensive side. They are located next door to La-Z-Boy which is more pricey. While the furniture at Conn's was nice it just wasn't worth what they were charging. Sales was pretty nice here and asked if we needed help and we just told them we'd look around; so they let us go at it. read more

We've stopped here a couple of times to look around. This review is based on my most recent experience. The place is large with a decent variety of items such as furniture, tvs & appliances. It seems to be well organized and clean. We were greeted, but no one chased us down and forced us to talk to them, which I appreciated. We were furniture browsing & they have some cute options, but it was a little more pricey than what we were looking to spend and we didn't see anything that really jumped out at us, so we didn't purchase anything. But it wasn't a bad experience & if we are looking around for a purchase, this might still be an option. read more

We had purchased from Conn's several times and decided to purchase new couches. When we were in the store, we were treated great. Once they got our money, it was a totally different experience. We had arranged for a Saturday delivery and the Salesperson said it wouldn't be an issue (we hadn't signed the contract yet). Well, Saturday morning rolled around and we hadn't heard from them. We called and they unilaterally changed the delivery date without telling us. Once they had their money, they were not willing to work with us. "Sorry, but we don't guarantee delivery on the date we give you." We were not happy. So, they deliver "most" of the furniture on a weekday (I had to take time off) and they say the Ottoman won't be in until September 16th. They call us the day after the delivery and say it is ready. We say we will pick it up on the weekend (4 days later). The lady on the phone was "sure, it will be there." Well, we went there today and it was "returned to the warehouse" because "they only hold pick-ups 3 days." Throughout the process, we were not offered any concessions whatsoever in the interest of Customer Service. We asked if they could deliver the Ottoman since it was sent back. No, we can't do that. Don't buy from CONN'S EVER! Go to a local company or another chain. The furniture is pretty pedestrian, unremarkable, corporate quality, and mainly particle board. A smaller company would have made an effort to fix the Customer Service Failures. STAY AWAY!!! My only regret is that I can't award zero stars. read more

I have to say after reading so many reviews I was reluctant to purchase anything from here. My wife and I found a kitchen table we loved and left the store. We looked around and decided we still liked the one we saw there the best. We went back and discussed all of our concerns about the bad reviews with the manager and he didn't deny the issues people were talking about. He said it is difficult because they are short staffed and the delivery people are a 3rd party. He gave us his personal cell and got us delivery the very next day. The delivery people were on time and did a great job. The table looks great in our kitchen. Both times we went in the store we were greeted right away and felt like they had good customer service. We would say give this place a chance and if you have concerns talk with the staff before purchasing anything. Glad we didn't listen to the reviews! read more

Upon sitting in one of their showroom sofas today, I opened the center console to find a GUN! And a spare clip. Management quickly removed the couch with gun inside. Apparently the couch was repossessed and the owner left the gun inside the couch. So do they sell repossessed sofas to the public!? An hour later this lady came in the door and was ushered to the back room. Later, when the cops finally arrived, the management and gun owner had a good laugh before leaving. Wow! Guess the story would have ended differently if a kid found the gun and accidentally shot himself or a teen took the gun. From now on I will check the console on every sofa. read more

I tried not even a month ago to buy a washer and dryer. I'm already a customer. The first time I called let it ring about 15xs hung up called again in 5 mins it rang awhile but finally lady answered the phone tried to talk to her about types of washers and dryers and she said she was only one there and didn't give much info . We told her we were leaving here at my home in 5 mins and asked her to write up the order and I'd pay cash and the full purchase of washer/ dryer.she seemed very hesitant. So needless to say I told my sis that cane to help me I'm a senior she came all the way from Connecticut to help and help me get set up. I told her there's no way that that lady would get my business. I asked for a manager... she said she was the manager. The bottom line she was suppose to call me back and never did . So off I went to Lowe's and didn't loose a thing they were same price at every place that sold them . They were on sale. So I'm happy with my purchase from Lowe's. To sum it all up... store needs more ppl working there and do what they say they will do. She clearly lost a couple grand that day.I still do business and just bought a bed from then but I was in NC where the staff was awesome. read more

I ordered a Living room set and paid cash. Coffee table was damaged so did not accept that. Was told it would be replaced. ZERO people have called me. 2 weeks now. Stay away!!! This is the most frustrating store to deal with. They have prices comparable to Lowes and home depot BUT their delivery system is HORRIBLE. They use an oversees call center to coordinate the delivery what are like robots. They seem to be able to deliver within 2 days of purchase BUT they do't follow their own instructions. They never provided a window of delivery and after me calling their e-commerce department 7 times, as well as the store who referred me to their delivery department they finally gave me a window of 2:30 to 5:30 and although they verify my phone number and email every-time you call they somehow had a phone number on my account that was not associated to me at all and although they record the calls they couldn't tell where that number came from so according to them I missed the delivery window. So back to square one. No one is able to help with the delivery so basically I bought a fridge but can't have it...Horrible service...Stay away.. It's better to wait a couple more days and get it delivered and avoid the frustration. UPDATE:third day of trying to get this done and now I was told my order is under a name I don't recognize and although I was given "again" a delivery day for sep 8th now they are saying it's not going out again. This is an absolute nightmare so on hold again with e-commerce to cancel the whole thing. I might have to call the credit card to block this company. It's UNBELIEVABLE how incompetent everyone is at this company even managers. No one seems to have the power to correct the issue. UPDATE#2: I contacted the customer care thru the email provided below and they do say they will fix the issue and they close the ticket. So I have no hope that anything gets done to improve their communication to actually get their appliances delivered. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO SAFE YOURSELF A LOT OF HEADACHES. I ended up buying a fridge from Acceptable Appliances and they delivered and installed the next day AND I saved $100. One Year Later, A Broken Down, Uncomfortable, Sofa and Recliner. We never did get the $150.00, mentioned in the review below, and now, if Goodwill will take it, we are giving away these pieces of junk. They are too lumpy and sagging for my husband and me (the only two people in the house), to sit on, without our backs aching within a half hour. All the way around this was a bad deal. Got a letter in the mail pre approved. so great. opened and decide to call i needed a fridge. called and entered my info. got a 3200.00 dollar credit right away was amazed! well called again to verify and give the approval code. but all of a sudden nobody knew what i was talking about and couldnt understand why i had an approval code. back and forth through operater after operater online that is. and still noone knew anything , or knew how to help me. i will never shop here. nor will my family if i have anything to do with it. this place could use real people to talk to. and if their going to go through an outside source for applications or credit at least keep up with the clients or know who to transfer to to in case someone is approved. read more

Called and spoke to Lori about a mattress. She suggested I come in because paperwork would need to be signed. I agreed. Have been here over an hour and she has yet to even acknowledge that I exist. Several other employees have asked if I needed help and I said I was waiting on her. I realize she is with someone who can't get financing straight but at least say hey I will be with you as soon as I can, while they are on phone arguing with finance department. Worst Company ever. I dont and will never recommend this company.My washer has been broke since November 9th. The 3rd party service company only called to hear what the washer was doing and ordered a part which happened to be the wrong part. The several people that I've spoken with have either been clueless to what the next step or telling me saying that someone will call me back. And guess what no one calls back. Called corporate office this morning and was told that a service tech would be calling me by 11am. It is now 1130 and guess what no call..I will not make another payment. After we perused for a minute, we started to ask some questions about fridges. Secretly, we wanted to buy one but didn't want them to know that - high pressure is not my thing. I typically hate even walking in to electronic stores; dealing with pushy salespeople who can't even answer technical questions about their merchandise seems to be the norm. This was my first time visiting a Conn's and was pleasantly surprised to find that their level of service seems to be a welcome exception to that rule. The salesman who offered to help while I was comparing a few different 4K televisions actually knew what he was talking about, and was able to give straight answers when it came to things like hardware upscaling and native refresh rates. Additionally, there wasn't a hint of trying to pressure me into a purchase. I didn't feel like I was being *sold* something; he simply answered my questions and offered other relevant specifications so I could make an informed choice based on what I was wanting. This is the sort of experience that makes me willing to go out of my way to shop at a particular place, and that's exactly what I plan on doing as long as I keep receiving such service read more

I did receive an email from Customer Service indicating the "matter has been deemed solved" and to contact Customer Service at 1-877-358-1252. I have been calling this number every day since 2/21/2020 and the average wait time is 27 minutes on any given day. The issue has not been resolved and won't be until I speak with a reasonable person or you do the right thing and send someone out to look at the defective dryer door. read more

Went to Conn's on a recommendation from a friend, was a little skeptical but that didn't last long. Our salesman Shaun Highsmith was very helpful and is very knowledgeable when it comes to electronics. We are very happy with our purchase and the service received. The whole experience got even better a couple weeks later when I received a call from Shaun letting me know the Bose sound system we bought went on sale and they would be refunding the difference as it fell within thier 30 day price match guarantee. We purchased 4 items in early July. One wasn't available at the time, so the other 3 were delivered and the last was supposed to come when in (a couple of weeks). I still haven't received it! The manager is not helpful, and just tells me that it isn't available (it's an exhaust hood for a stove). We called customer service and they don't respond. Worst of all, they just deleted the item from my contract without even telling me or sending me a new copy. Be careful! read more

Really disappointed in the customer service. My husband and I came into the store and ended up ordering a new king size mattress, bed frame, dresser and mirror. We were told before placing the order that the set was in stock and would take 2 weeks to deliver which was fine because it gave us time to try to sell our current bed and dressers. We were told that we would get a call the day before scheduled delivery (a Friday) to confirm delivery time. Well Thursday came and by that time we had already sold our current bed so we went ahead and took it down and all of our furniture out of our bedroom to get it ready for Friday delivery. Well Thursday went by and I got no phone call or email. So Friday morning we called to check on our order and was told by some lady that nothing would be delivered Friday because of the weather. We asked when it would be delivered and she assured us it would be rescheduled for Sunday or Monday delivery. When we asked if she was sure because we have been sleeping on our mattress on the floor she assured us it wouldn't be another week and that they would call us back around 3pm to confirm which day they would deliver. Well of course no phone call ever came through. So that Saturday morning we called back 3 times. First time we were placed on hold for 20 minutes, so we hung up and called back. Next time we called some lady transferred us to someone's voicemail. We called a third time and some guy finally helped us but then told us that THIS WHOLE TIME THE BED SET WASNT GOING TO BE DELIVERED BECAUSE THE FOOTBOARD WAS NOT IN STOCK. There is even more to this story but in the end we ended up cancelling the entire order. Now we are left sleeping on our mattress on the floor with nothing when all it would have taken is one person to do their job and let us know that the footboard wasn't in stock to begin with. But nope I find this out days after the scheduled delivery. I never once got a phone call or email from this place for an update. We will never be coming here again. I went to purchase a tv and decided to get my elderly mom a portable ac unit. I told the sales rep I was not sure if this is what she was looking for, and if the plug would fit. The sales rep assured me that it would be ok to return it with in thirty days. I got to my moms, and there was no manual or directions on how to set it up. I called back down there and they said they will have to print me a manual. I had to go all the way back down there to pick it up. Then we realize that the plug will not fit in the wall and it was cost us a large amount to get the plug switched to one that would work with the ace and was not worth it . I called back down and spoke with my sales person who stated it would be ok to bring the ac back and they will have to charge a restocking fee. He placed me back on hold to find out how much the restocking fee would be. The sales rep came back and told me that he apologized but his manger just told him that ac can not be returned. Remind you it has only been 24hrs, and he's not just told me that day I purchased it but when I first called back the next day....I have made a complaint with customer service and was told they district manger said that I could not return it. I did another complaint for the district manger to call me back, and no one has called me back yet this has been since early December 2016. I called again today 01/23/2016 and have been on hold trying to reach customer service. I don't understand how can I be punished when I was told the wrong information and it was admitted by the sales rep and the manger heard him. I will never purchase anything from Conns again and will be writing blogs and telling everyone about this .
