Cole (the owner) was able to hook me up with a brand new mattress, pillows, and sheets within an hour of calling. Not only that, Cole made sure to get me the best deal on the mattress that I was looking at. Unreal customer service and have been getting near 100% sleep score on my Whoop ever since picking up my new mattress. I am recommending Theo's to everyone I know from now on.

We went on Labor Day and had the pleasure of meeting Liz's mother. I had read about Liz on Yelp and…read moreshe and her husband are the owners. Her mom was there to give them a break for the holiday. Loved that. I wanted a bed with a box spring because the bed I had ordered required one. I also wanted a flippable mattress and they are almost impossible to find. It was just the nicest experience. I will add pictures when I get the set. It was an easy transaction and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. Wish more businesses operated this way.

From the start the mattress we received did not at all feel like the ones in the store ! We went ahead and moved up and got their mattress that's almost the hardest they sell. Paid for it anyway and then when it got here it is NOT at all what was in the store ! They even sent two men over to test it. I was told I was a " princess and the Pea"! I believe this was either not the same mattress or used. Also their box spring did not fit, and I was told it must be my "floor" must be uneven and it was my "bed". Tho after I had to purchase a different boxspring it fit just fine. I've had to put two Bunky boards in between the box springs and the bed just to get it to hold up in the middle for both my husband and I it is a king bed. Hands-down worst purchase I have ever in my life made. I've waited months and prayed about this post. I would just hate to see anybody else make a mistake and trust these people. Very very disappointed!!

The experience we had with J&K Home Furnishings was outstanding due to the excellent skills and service provided by Interior Designer Karen Johnson. The need to replace a living room chair had become somewhat of a joke in our household. It's been…read morea difficult almost 3 years so 'the chair' kept getting pushed down the list of priorities. That was, until a Black Friday ad showed up on our TV and my hub called out, "Hon, come look at this chair." "Yeah, it could work," I casually replied. I had a plan. First thing, Small Business Saturday, I stopped into J&K Furnishings in the Belle Hall Shopping Center (Long Point Road) as soon as it opened. I was approached immediately by Karen who took me over to the advertised chair. She was knowledgeable and patient, even knowing that there would be no sale. I was there just to check out the chair. Yes, it was comfortable, genuine buttery leather, priced well and was exactly what I wanted. I told Karen that I'd be back the next day with my husband. We returned on Sunday and worked with Ryan who also was patient and low key. He closed the sale. We both appreciated that he did not try to upsell a higher priced chair or other items. We actually asked for a protection plan. Delivery was set and confirmed with an automated phone call. The drivers called as they were on the way. The chair is perfect ... even our our fur son approves! The entire experience was easy. If you're looking to feather your nest, or freshen up tired decor, be sure to check out J&K. I know you'll be satisfied.

After…read moretrying multiple pillows from Amazon that only caused more pain, I went to Relax the Back after a neighbor highly recommended them and told me about their loaner pillow program. Being able to try a pillow for 10 days before purchasing is such a smart idea. On my first visit, Tom asked detailed questions about what I was looking for and what type of bed I sleep on--and they actually had my bed in the showroom, which made a huge difference. I was able to see how my body settled into the mattress with each pillow. I tried 4-5 pillows and went home with a loaner that same day. I've been back a few times to switch pillows, even taking a short break and returning again as my symptoms changed. Throughout the entire process, Tom has been incredible--compassionate, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right solution. It never felt rushed or sales driven. I haven't found the perfect pillow yet due to significant inflammation in my neck, but I'll absolutely be back once my symptoms calm down. If you're looking for a quality pillow and expert guidance--especially if you deal with neck pain--I highly recommend Relax the Back Charleston.
