    Damage from Conns

    Bought a new GE Electric range 7 days ago. Soon after the Conns delivery crew dropped it off I discovered that it was so damaged that I couldn't use it (see attached photos). I've called Conns ten times since then and just give me the run around. "We'll call you back in 24hrs to schedule an exchange". I wait a day and they never call. So I call them again and they say the same thing. I would be willing to pay $150 just to never do business with them again. Don't be fooled by the low prices because you won't save money if there is a problem! I'm renting a uhaul tomorrow and returning the range and I will just pay the $150 restocking fee. I'll just buy the thing from The Home Depot next who cares if its $50 more. Never doing business with Conns again!!

    If i could go lower then one star i would.... we order the latest model of washer and dryer. It was price at 899 and after the store closed the price went up an extra $100 so if u plan to do shopping make sure u order something before Wednesday since the prices change! Gas is 100 dollars more then electric. We order are machines Wednesday and was promised are items by Friday deliver.... Friday comes around no phone call.. are window was between 11 to 2.. i called customer service to find out whats going on with my order they told me my order was delay and should arrive by 240. Then the warehouse called me at 215 to tell me a forklift went through my washer and damage the left hand side where the drum would be. The driver told me specifically they he ask to switch the machines out and the manager on duty refused to switch it and told him to see if we would take it at a discounted price. Which is unacceptable for something i pay warranty for. So key thing with warranty is if u dont use it in the 4 yrs u get everything back except the 30% .. so i refused it then i was promised Saturday delivery. Saturday comes i get a phone call saying they wont be delivering it due to easter holidays. So yet again i had to call store, customer service, and warehouse just to be told it would be delivered Monday first thing in the morning. Monday comes around and they deliver and when my husband went to check the machines the doors were dented. Driver said o its just a scratch. My husband was like no they are dented u can see something hit them hard enough to force a dent in the front. So once again we refused it. So top it off they only offered 99 dollars off your order for inconvenience. 99 dollars off a 4k machines is a slap in the face specially when promised 3 days of delivery and machines were delivered damaged. Long story short i went into the store and cancel my order due the inconvenience, waste of my time. Driver/delivery dont speak 1word of english but seems like they are coached to say call the warehouse for a discounted price off your machine.. if i was going to buy discounted machine i would have gone to a place for refurbished items at a discounted price. So conns lost my business and i would never order from them again!! That would be my First and last time walking into that store or order from this company!! From an piss off customer!!

    I purposely wore some of my less desirable cloths when I went in here because I was hoping that they would think I look trashy and not approach me because as we know these guys work on commission. I got some hellos as I walked in the most of them let me go and then this guy walked up and introduced himself, & I knew that I was not going to be able to browse freely. The nice thing for him is he made an easy $1500 sale because I had already researched what I wanted online. So it was kind of a test to see who was going to say hello and who is going to profile me. Anyways I got my Bose system and I am ready to install it, I like going into places like this looking trashy and seeing who will still help me out hahaha.

    12 calls in one day is harrassing the customer

    Do not buy from this place. If you are just one day late, they will call you and harrass you. I asked them months ago to change my billing date to the 10th of the month,i get paid by the 6th, so this would help me. They changed my date to the first and wont change again because it has been changed once already, even thoigh they made the mistake. They call from the second of the month until my payday 4 to 12 times daily. I tell them i will pay on the 6th, they say they will note my account but the next day they call almost every hour. This is harrassment.

We visited several places and then remembered that the place we got our mattress (Texas Mattress Makers) also did sectionals, etc. This places looks like a big warehouse when you drive up but when you walk inside you see that it is a nice place to shop. Living Designs has a large selection to choose from and the best thing is that they love making custom furniture., We were greeted by Dean. He showed us around, told us about the furniture that was on the floor and answered all our questions. The best thing about getting furniture from Living Designs is that ALL the furniture is made here in Houston Texas. All the material that is used in make the furniture is sourced in the USA. Living Designs has lots of different styles to choose from and lots of different fabrics to choose from also. Frame has a lifetime warranty under normal wear. Foam has a 1 year warranty. Sewing has a 3 year warranty. Fabric has a 1 year warranty. Dean made us feel comfortable which is why we decided on Living Designs Furniture for the purchase of our custom made sectional. Delivery was in a timely manner for furniture which was custom made. So far we are pleased with our sectional from Living Designs Furniture. I recommend that if you are shopping for furniture you go look at Living Designs Furniture.

    We've checked out Min n Mod a few times because we love our friends couch and they've got a pretty…read moregood selection. I respect Mattress Mack as much as the next Houstonian, but I've found it extremely difficult to find more modern, reasonably priced furniture in the city (looking at you Crate & Barrel) and in my opinion, this is the best store out there. We bought a sectional last week for $2200 + ($109 for delivery) and the whole process was seamless. They gave us options on the timing, communicated well, and the guys who delivered it were absolutely top notch. They gave me a heads up when they were 15 minutes out, arrived within their window, brought it upstairs without complaint, assembled it extremely quickly, and cleaned up all their trash.

    We had serious issues with the furniture we purchased. One of the sofas was advertised as genuine…read moreleather, but it started peeling in a short time, which raised concerns about its quality. The legs of another sofa broke very quickly. A repair team was sent, but the fix did not last and it broke again. When we requested service a second time, we were asked to pay. Overall, we are not satisfied with both the product quality and the after-sales service.
