You pay all this money and have to BEG for updates??? Remember Cuba is not American friendly- phones don't work and internet doesnt work. BUT! our prepaid transfer was not on time to pick us up for an international flight to depart Cuba. The man on the ground, Eric, wasn't there- we had to track him down... and it left all of us racing through an international airport with precious little time to get through customs, check ins and help a colleague with a wheel chair. This is a low rent agency- go to Liberty Travel. DONT work with Mary H. Traveling should not be such a hassle.

I have to reply If you recall there were TWO people in this…read moreparty to Cuba- so not the same person. BOTH of us have complained... neither of us got the hotel confirmation from you as promised and actually FIVE of us were left over an hour waiting for the airport transfer. YES FIVE people left over an hour for transfers. Cubans are racists- as noted by the constant Sambo Dolls and racists figures sold everywhere. The tour group heard stories about white slave masters have sex with slaves to have "beautiful mixed kids..." even from the back of our tour bus someone yelled out "THAT IS RACIST!" But our complaints were not about Cuba itself (except the transfer)- what you could help was your awful customer service... not providing confirmation numbers, the courier who was late and DID NOT help an 80 plus woman who needed wheelchair assistance. DID NOT help her into the cab, while I PERSONALLY had to lift her leg up and over ( no step provided) And not once, have you addressed us with our titles- as Doctor. Eric did not apologize- he was no help... and all five of us in that 11: 55 am transfer barely made the plane. Regardless- this is two different people who have offered complaints, with the same experience of being yelled the night before departure at when asking for confirmation numbers...no apology- and left rushing through the airport when the courier is late. You may have 30 years service- but certainly not with the way Mary H treated us.... and no one has yet to apologize for the stressful treatment. We BOTH stand by this complaint and urge people to use another travel agent who will treat you with respect and honor reasonable requests instead of yelling "WHAT DO YOU WANT ALREADY!" really that's good service? Wouldn't it be easier just to apologize for losing your cool? We are speaking out because it is a shame black people have to be kicked around even when going on a professional trip.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others…read moreshould be aware. I booked a non-refundable rate and fully understood the terms. However, when my travel plans changed, I contacted the hotel in advance. The front desk staff reviewed my reservation and explicitly approved the change to my stay. Based on that conversation, I had every reason to believe everything had been handled correctly. When I checked out, I discovered I had been charged for an additional night anyway. Rather than explain what happened or investigate the discrepancy, the front desk attendant repeatedly avoided answering my questions and seemed more interested in talking around the issue than resolving it. After several attempts, I asked to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the interaction only became worse. The manager was dismissive, rude, and visibly irritated that I questioned the charge. She rolled her eyes during the conversation and bluntly told me I would be charged regardless of the reservation change that had previously been approved. There was no attempt to understand the situation, acknowledge the conflicting information provided by her staff, or offer any reasonable customer service. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I don't expect special treatment--I simply expect honesty, professionalism, and for the hotel to honor commitments made by its staff. If there was a mistake, own it. If the change shouldn't have been approved, explain that respectfully. Instead, I was met with indifference and an attitude that left me feeling like my loyalty and business meant nothing. Mistakes happen. Poor customer service is a choice. Unfortunately, this stay will be remembered not for the property itself, but for how poorly a straightforward issue was handled.

General Manager (Cheri Orr) was extremely rude with no concept of customer service whatsoever…read more Assigned us to an extremely noisy room on the first floor near a major highway and refused to accommodate after repeated requests claiming the hotel was fully booked. Lied straight to our face. We could go and book several types of different rooms right then and there on their website. Didn't acknowledge corporate booking or show any semblance of understanding or desire to accommodate or offer another solution for the noise or compensate us for the sub-par but otherwise expensive service. Looking at the other reviews here, seems like this is the attitude of the management - anti-customer. Would avoid at all costs. Too bad it's close to the Gardens but there are other hotels that will not treat you like that.

You can bring food and drinks on the boat though they do have a bar full of options to choose from if you want a beer or cocktails. No food options to purchase on the boat. Everyone was nice and my son even was able to take the wheel for a while. A positive was that we were able to jump on the boat with no reservation. There are 4 large booth tables and plenty of other folding chairs and tables to relax by. They have a bathroom on board the ship with its very own window. I'm not sure if it's normal but there was no music playing which I liked since I was able to have conversations with my family. Tom & Steve are the owners and very nice and welcoming.

They were able to provide a large car and spacious enough to accommodate my family of 5 and all of our suitcases. Our driver, Arif, was prompt, courteous and helpful. They could not accommodate our car seat request but I'm not sure if that is something that could have been provided if the request wasn't so last minute. If you're looking for a car service I highly recommend De Limo because they are reliable and professional. They are on the pricier side but at least you know you will be taken care of.
