Hubby and had a great date at Conner's! There is so much to do at this farm- def fun for the whole family! We enjoyed taking lots of pics and selfies in the barn, sunflower field, and petting zoo. We also enjoyed some food truck treats before the tractor ride & corn maze. This maze is no joke! It's divided into 2 sections- we found the right side fun & solvable, but the left side defeated us!!! I'm not sure how long we were in the maze- maybe 45 mins?!? What a challenge! Make sure to have some water on you and some shoes you don't mind getting dusty. Fyi There are employees & a watch tower should the maze be too overwhelming ( we chose to exit via the entrance lol). Def worth the drive from Jax- will visit again!

This is a nice place to take the kids and family for a Saturday afternoon. They have a number of events set up for the weekends. This weekend they had hillbilly Olympics. There are petting areas for different animals all over the place. Assorted rides and of course the maze. The corn in the maze was a bit low and thin so it wasn't as daunting a challenge to go thru it. Overall it was nice fall good times to get out with the family to enjoy the outside. Prices aren't that bad for entrance. Food there was pretty good. Make sure you buy the corn on the cob. Very tender sweet bi colored corn on the cob.

Wide open space and a beautiful view!

What a day, what a farm! After hearing about Connor's from friends and seeing it posted as a top Fall farm to visit on a local newsletter, I knew it was a place to go. I was hoping for a true Fall experience for my family, one that would be sans palm trees and beaches and more New England-ish and Connor's fit the bill ten-fold. The property itself is huge and extremely spacious. Parking is ample and every staff member we came across was exceptionally friendly and had a smile on their face. The drive there may be a trek for some, but I for one enjoy seeing farm life and greenery vs shopping center after shopping center. We attended their Fall event, which was filled with pumpkins, hay rides, horse rides, an amazing corn maze, animal feeding, a country store, a great playground, a kid tractor ride, and food. We had a blast, and that's an understatement! The whole place is very farm/rustic/country charm that takes you to the simple life and brings out the kid in you again. The corn maze itself is humungous and very thought out. You take a tractor ride out towards the back on the property and bam - here you go! This year it was made into a Charlotte's Web theme and inside the maze there were 10 questions about the book to help you determine which way was the next correct path to trek. After the maze, we hit up the kid's tractor ride where a large tractor slowly pulls tiny barrels on wheels (each decorated as an animal and with a name) that your child can sit in around a large loop. Both of my kids really enjoyed this and liked picking out a fun and cute animal to sit in. The playground and animal feedings were next and both were a big hit to all, and brisket sandwiches afterwards were the icing on the cake. We grabbed a few pumpkins before heading out and they offered a large variety to pick from and prices were very fair. Well worth the drive for a slice of Fall fun for all!

The corn cannon station was interesting and fun

Its almost embarrassing to admit how much better I felt about us as a society after going to Conners. Nobody was loud, obnoxious, gangster garbed, or holding up their pants. There were no herds of insecure teens looking for same or smoking in pairs. It was clean and wholesome. One of the games let little kids pump old well pumps to drive rubber ducky flocks around a trough and back for more. An exquisite display of LameO from decades past. A huge dirt pile with a slide was popular with the little people. Probably the first one many of those kids had ever got to play on. It looked like an ant hill busy busy busy.... We took the long corn maze (my first) and it was indeed long. Nicely done and pretty quiet despite the throng of people looking for the correct way to escape. Feeding the animals was my wife (Mrs. LameO's) favorite. She wanted to take one of the chickens home. Their corn cob cannon caused her to be concerned because I told her she was supposed to be shooting at a horse way behind the target zone. LOL nerdy but mean. I confessed quickly. She did well. E-Haw farm fun. Their pumpkin patch was big and nice but lacked organization. I didn't see any prices but worse no way to get my pumpkin to the car. I'm beyond carrying a 47 pound trophy pumpkin 300 yards on my head. If you have kids, watch real news or just need a boost in your sensibilities go. The place is full of happy well intentioned people. Lots of please and thank you. I'm told their haunted corn maze is fun too. It was a great day in the country. Have one!

on the hayride into the cowpatch (don't worry there were a lot more cows than shown in this pic)

Wow, we went back this weekend and it has grown! I'd love to give it one more star, but I was really disappointed with the hayride through the cow field. The cows were so far away and the hayride had no hay. So sad. Back in 2007, the cows went right up to the truck and you could get upclose and personal with them. Now they required a binocular to see but you rode through their doodoo. It's just not the same... =/ Also, the pumpkin patch was really disappointing. It was filled to the brim when we were here years ago, but down to only a handful this past weekend. They said they had almost sold out the week before, so I'll just take their word for it. Otherwise, the cow-train ride had more cow "cars", and the corn maze seemed a lot taller than it once was. I can't see above it as easily as I could before (and no, I did not shrink.. at least I don't think I did, haha). You could walk through the maze using a questionnaire (various subjects from corn to scouts to entertainment trivia, etc.) to guide you through or you could just walk around and wander like we did. This year's design was a veteran soldier helping his friend. http://s3-media2.ak.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/XuOHwBDOLYuED8Q2Bt1GhQ/l.jpg Also, they expanded food choices, and now offered corn fresh from their fields boiled and buttered (if you desired). The chicken salad sandwich was OK until I started crunching on something. err.... We could have also purchased hot eats like hamburgers but that area had the longest line. The vendor we purchased our nachos and chicken salad sandwich from also sold funnel cakes and popcorn. The good thing is that there were more places to eat. The entire middle open-air structure where you purchase tickets is now a dining area. To my son's delight, there were much more animals. And for 50 cent a cup, you could feed them some kind of food pellet. Just not the horses or the rabbits. We fed some goats, sheep, chickens (hens and roosters), a mean bull that pushed a goat aside to grab some food from us, some donkeys, and some ducks. And to my delight, they were selling freshly baked cookies with chocolate chips and cinnamon chips in the general store. Delicious! For serious cooks, they sold jams and sauces in the general store, or you could purchase some fresh herbs from their hydroponic garden. Simple rural fun, and still much cheaper than the fair. Hooray!

This was our second time going to Conner's in the past three years. I knew about a lot of their improvements and upgrades through Facebook last year and this year. So I was eager and happy to attend and see something different. I was really happy with everything that I saw. When I went two years ago they had a lot of long lines especially for food and some of the rides. But since they added some food shacks the lines are definitely a lot better. The boys loved pretty much everything. Their favorites were the cow train, slides and the hayride to the corn maze. That is another thing that is really different when walking in. The corn maze is now in the back of the property and the hayride is the only way to get to it. Which I really like. It makes the corn maze feel like you are out in the boondocks and it also makes it feel like your stranded. The playground area is really nice too. My youngest love riding around in the mini tractors. The petting farm was nice too. A lot of different animals you can feed and pet. The pumpkin patch was full of pumpkins of various sizes. The general store was full of different knick knacks, food and clothes to buy. They had some good treats to buy, cookies, peach cobblers and other assorted little pies and cakes. We got some of their chocolate cookies, pumpkin and snikerdoodle. All really good!! The food is good too. They have four different shacks to chose from with food and drink options in most of them. We ate at their main shack. We got the hot dog combo which comes with fries and a drink. Also got the sausage dog combo. The sausage was really really good. I got it with peppers and onions. The star was their sweet tea and passion fruit sweet tea. I had to get some to go, when we left. Really good. I am glad to see this place progress. They have a lot of land and they're definitely using it well. The farm hands(employees) are very helpful. I will def. keep coming back to this place. A lot of family memories are made here. It's a good little road trip to spend the day with friends and family.

An absolute treat for our toddler and for us as parents! Expansive and full of kid-friendly activities, this place made me wax nostalgic. Who knew Florida could provide a genuine Halloween atmosphere? - Pumpkin patch - check! - Hay rides - check! - Corn maize - check! - Petting farm - check! - Barrel pull - check! - Mini-tractors - check! - Playground - check! - Barbeque, burgers and iced tea - check! The best part? All the staff was family. They were so friendly and sweet to our a-maized 1 yr old. He had the BEST day and we can't wait to return next year for more memory-making!

I went with my son and had a blast! But I will warn: Bring sun screen, sneakers, cash, and maybe your own food. The food line is very long.

It's always great to support a local business. I make at least ONE trip up a year. There's tons of stuff to do and the food is great.

We've made several trips here, and we were finally able to stay in one of the bungalows in the newly opened area called The Hammock. The tiny houses are quaint and comfy, but have everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. We had breakfast both mornings in our bungalow with the farm fresh eggs they left in our kitchen's mini fridge, along with fresh sourdough and muffins from the kitchens pastry chef. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, as well as a less formal fish fry on Friday night at The Roost. Everything was incredible--I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Menu Seasonal-varies, we had the corn bread with pesto and broccoli and fresh butter. The shrimp and grits was yummy-a bit smoky spicy-great. The grilled trout was juicy and cooked perfectly-atop a bed of buttery rice and the best cooked asparagus ever! Tender all the way to the end. The kale salad was huge, fresh, loaded with toasted almonds, shredded cabbage, and quartered beets. Enough for 3-4. Okay, yes do get dessert. We saw someone else get the strawberry n had to have it-a white chocolate strawberry filled with strawberry mousse and an apricot jam middle. It came with a side of brownie covered with a chocolate creme and cookie sprinkle. Wow!! Well worth it!! The death by chocolate was served with pistachio crumbles. Strawberry was better.
