I called on a Monday and was in the office the following day. The nail on my right big toe was separating from the nailbed and I didn't want to snag it on anything. I was a little nervous because the toe was throbbing the day prior and I hoped I hadn't waited too long to go in. Dr Connell and his staff treated me with respect and truly cared about the issue, and the urgency. I really felt comfortable in the office, I liked that they didn't require masks. I was back in a room just a few minutes after filling out the new patient paperwork. Dr. Connell has an excellent bedside manner, he was very professional and personable. He took a look at the toe and said that the nail was just barely hanging on. He used his special snips, and it was completely removed in mere seconds. I was so relieved, there was absolutely no pain. I have seen Dr. Connell twice now and both times were excellent! In Fact, I almost look forward to having to go back. To put this in perspective, I don't like doctors, I don't trust them, I can't remember a time when I felt like they cared at all, for the most part. Kathy, the person you first meet, is such a nice lady. I have to think the bad review here was more to do with that guys attitude than her service. I didn't have time to read a single email before she took me back to the room. I didn't have time to read anything before the Dr. came in, so don't expect to get any work done while waiting. I had partially torn the nail off of a toe and thought it was getting infected which is why I was there. In just a minute, he had removed the entire nail, cleaned it up and was done. During this, he challenged me to a little, name that tune and who signs it, to the song that was playing in the background. After he finished, he sat and talked. For the first time in my life, I have a Dr. that cares and is not in a hurry! Can't recommend this office enough! read more

Worst doctors office I've ever been to. Came in with what I believed to be a ruptured plantar fascia. Doctor simply poked the painful area one time hard, then said he'd recommend an MRI. On the way out he gave me a boot for the foot. I wear a men's size 14 and the boot does not fit. After being unable to wear the boot I called the office and explained this. They advised me to cut the boot and alter it to fit. I said that I do not want to modify the boot and can't use it, so take it back. Lucy told me that she would see what can be done and that she'd call me back. Two weeks went by and finally a call back. This call was to re-explain our initial conversation. I insisted that something be done. So again, Lucy informed me that she'd speak with the doctor and get back to me. Both times I explained that I have a boot sitting here that I cannot use, still in the plastic wrapping. Never heard back for other a month and now they're telling me that because I didn't bring the boot back, they can't do anything about it. TERRIBLE treatment of patients, and on top of that my MRI was denied by my insurance due to doctors vague notations. read more

Had gone to a different Podiatrist few years earlier & never went back. Bad experience treated like a very insignificant cog in the mill. Went to Dr. Connell when situation got worse after reading reviews. Totally different here with Dr. Connell and Ms. Kathy! Appointment was easy to make, older office but so pleasant. Both are kind and professional. Dr Connell spent time explaining procedure & we got it done there & then. Kathy wrote up my papers for work - easy-peasy as we were laughing about their cute collection of solar bobble heads. This is what it's supposed to be like, so different from the fast food slap & go service you get with some other medical providers. Just lovely! read more

My visit went great! From the easy to book process online, the educational and healing visit and the price was right for the treatment! Cathy was on top of it -contacting me through email to confirm my appt as well as provide directions to the office and she was was so nice in person. Dr. Connell saw me right away and listened to my issues. He was nice to let me in a a few tips to ease my pain and prevent future gout flare ups. He treated my swelling/pain and offered after care instructions. They were so helpful in getting me my prescription for the best price too! I was under your care for my right foot in September and October of 2019. While your office staff was very friendly and you were very nice, I need to share with you my experience. I believe I visited your office a total of three times. The first time, you gave me a cortisone shot and I ended up coming back a second time, because it didn't help the pain. You ordered an MRI, which came back with no issues. Then, at my third appointment you gave me another cortisone shot and told me if that didn't work, you would have to look into mobility devices for me. I never made another appointment because I just tried to live with the pain as I wasn't convinced that a mobility device was the answer. In February, I received a complimentary adjustment from a chiropractor that my sister goes to. I ended up becoming a patient of his and told him about my ankle because we were talking about my new job as a basketball coach. But I told him I was worried because I couldn't jump as the pain was unbearable. He took a total of five minutes to examine my ankle and realized that something was out of place. He popped it back into place and it has been fine ever since! I only wanted to pass this information on to you to possibly help someone else that also had my problem. Instead of sending someone for a MRI that cost me $1,370 out of pocket, there could be a much simpler fix. read more

I was so impressed with this Dr. I waited over 14 month and suffered with Plantar fasciitis because I was told by another foot Dr. that the shot in the foot would go straight into the bottom of my heal and it was the worst pain and worst shot anyone could ever receive. Dr. Connell's process is different and the shot did not hurt as expected. with 1 shot the pain was 85% better... with 1 shot follow up it is now completely gone!!! I waited over a year with pain and this Dr. made this so easy and painless!! HIGHLY Recommend! read more

Great treatment and the best experience I have had with a several year foot issue. I've had a very painful big toe attachment to my foot for several years that becomes extremely painful at different times. I had my PC help several times over the past 5 years and once went to an Urgent Care center on a weekend when it was very painful. They X-rayed and gave me a prescription for Naproxen, which is what I had been prescribed from my PC in the past. Today I received a shot into the joint (very painful I must say) that might take a couple of days to work, or sooner, I was told. This was an amazing experience, pain and all that. It has helped my pain immensely and I can now put on my shoe (I have a foot brace in it too) without excruciating pain. My shot was administered this morning. I am so happy to have come here and finally received fantastic results after about 5 years. I highly recommend Dr. Connell; and his staff are terrific, also. read more
