At my last visit to the hospital for a small blocked bowel, the attending surgeon told me he needed to see me in 10 days and that we needed to find out what keeps causing the problem. I googled him and read the Doctor's Yelp review, it was only 3 and a half stars. I'm sure he's a good Doctor, but I wanted a great and out of this world Doctor. So, I punched "small blocked bowel" into google; only one Doctor's name came up, Dr. Ghazanfari. Then I read his Yelp reviews; they were outstanding. I gave his office a call and the rest is history. He lived up to his reviews. When I showed up to his office, he had already studied my visits to the ER, and came up with a plan for me. I was to go to get a diagnostic laparoscopy. Before, I went for my laparoscopy on July 12th, Dr. Ghazanfari prepared me for the upcoming laparoscopy. He told me of the best that could happen (quick fix) or the worst outcome (tumor/taking out a section of intestine). Thankfully, it was an easy fix! I've learned that bedside manner is a good thing, but not always necessary. One of the most important things for a Doctor to have is genius or maybe intuition? I'm happy to say that Dr. Ghazanfari has both! Not only that, he has an excellent bedside manner! Sorry, I took so long. But, I'm a very sickly person with bizarre illnesses. I'm sure there are many like me out there. So I wanted to put a great, big, flashing arrow towards Dr. Ghazanfari if you have a small blocked bowel or any problem internally.

Sometimes these people forget that the common person doesn't understand all the hoops the insured jumps through and its very convoluted. When my insurance denied MRI, why was an xray not ordered first as required especially when they knew the reason it was denied and this was "in her experience " this happens. We listened to the Doc and had MRI not knowing an xray is standard requirement. Why did he not order that first? Kaylie spoke down to me and raised her voice. When I asked her to breathe and why she had tone she then turned it around and accused me of having tone and said she would end the call cuz she cant help me further. Like what kind of customer service is this?? I asked to speak to someone else and she refused saying theres only 2 people and they are busy. This is a shame because she was helpful prior to being seen. I have honestly never been treated so rude my medical staff. She sounded completely put out!

Dr. Hatfield did a full knee replacement on me a few years back and he was fantastic. I loved that he was honest and upfront about what to expect--so many doctors sugar coat things (i.e. severe pain is not the same thing as "discomfort"). I healed up beautifully and went on my merry way. Now that my other knee is acting up, I'm back. I have full faith in Dr Hatfield's advice and care. He is not the doctor who insists you have a consultation first then sends you for X-rays then had you come back again for treatment. He had me get X-rays first then come in one time. He looked at them, diagnosed, and gave me my cortisone shot all in one quick visit. No nonsense! His staff is also very kind, knowledgeable, and caring.

The people at the front desk were so kind and patient in helping me with options for a payment plan. The surgeon Cameron Ross was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and caring to make sure I knew he was going to take good care of me. He did a great job replacing my radial disk in my arm. He really cares about his patients getting the best care. The Anetheisiologist was nice and gentle giving me my nerve block. My sweet nurse who was with me before my surgery and in during my surgery was the most amazing and caring nurse . Her words were exactly what I needed and were so comforting at a most stressful time. I figured I would just walk in and make an appointment since it's literally right across the street from my neighborhood. There was a lady outside who I asked what time they opened and she said 8:00. So I came in and the lady from outside was now behind the counter. I believe her name was Cece. I asked if I could make an appointment for a surgery evaluation, and she said, "oh we don't make appointments in person, you have to call" I feel like she was either having a bad morning and I thought she was kinda rude so I just left. I went and got in my car and contemplated calling for an appointment or just finding a different spot because of the treatment I received. But all of a sudden, there she was standing at my passenger door telling me she could get me an appointment. Her entire attitude had changed and she became much more pleasant. She said the person that normally sets appointments was not there yet but she wanted to get me taken care of anyway. I don't know if the correct person wasn't there or if Cece WAS the correct person, and quite honestly, I didn't and I don't care. The fact that she did a course correction and changed up her entire demeanor to be very nice and friendly was amazing in my opinion and I appreciated it. She took what could have been a bad day and turned it into a great one. So far this has been my interaction here but I have my appointment today (why I checked in, lol) so I will let you know how it goes from here.

The facility is located in a large medical complex with convenient and ample parking. Dr. Elliott Janousek, O.D., is an exceptional professional. He provides comprehensive eye exams that check visual acuity, depth perception, and eye coordination to detect issues like cataracts or macular degeneration. He also performs systemic health screenings to identify overall health issues affecting the eyes, such as diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, Dr. Janousek is highly skilled in prescribing topical and oral medications for eye infections, allergies, and inflammation, and he provides excellent surgical co-management before and after procedures performed by their seasoned ophthalmologist. The eye exam process is very efficient. The optical technician, Heep, is professional and thorough during the initial medical review and pressure testing. The practice also utilizes retinal and fundus photography to capture detailed digital images of the inside of the eye to screen for diseases. The administrative staff is equally wonderful. Maddy at the reception desk is always cheerful, helpful, and accommodating with scheduling. Please note that this is a very popular and busy office. The earliest available appointment was in October, but a week before the appointment, it was canceled. I rescheduled for November, and on the morning of that appointment, they canceled again. To make matters worse, they only send text messages to notify you of cancellations--no calls to explain or help reschedule. After this frustrating and unprofessional experience, I gave up and went elsewhere.
