We hired We-Haul Moving Company in July of 2020…read more Our move consisted of moving all household goods from a 2900 sqft house in Las Vegas, NV to a 3900 sqft house Seattle, WA. Additionally, we requested We-Haul to pack all of our dishes, glassware, and books. We chose We-Haul because Javier was quick to respond. Quoted price was much more competitive than the others on Thumbtack. But, most importantly for us, offered guaranteed delivery date/time. When every competitor we spoke to gave delivery windows of 3 days to 10 days with no guarantees, Javier and his team offered to deliver our housewares on the date of our choosing and if needed as early as in two days. On top of that, one of our dogs that would have had to fly in the cargo rode with the crew in the air-conditioned cabin and We-Haul had managed lodging accommodations to include our dog. Our family has moved a lot in the past. From Northern Virginia to Massachusetts to Kansas City to Washington State to Las Vegas back to Washington State. We've had such horrible experiences in the past from movers not showing up on time, delivering late, misplaced items from having to share trailers with other customers, damaged household goods, companies adding in cost post-contract, holding our items hostage to swindle more money, pick up crew being different than the drop off crew and having no idea of the contents truck. None of that applied with We-Haul. Crew arrived on time for both pickup and drop-off. Provided status updates during the move. Javier checked in to ensure everything was going well pre-during-post move. No items were damaged. No items were missing. Booties were worn to avoid damage to new home flooring. I would and have recommended these guys to anyone within We-Haul's coverage area.

Gail Cloud, owner of Southwest Moving & Relocation, in St. George Utah, is a thief, a fraud and a…read moreliar. THIEF: He has kept my Baldez stationary exercise bicycle, expensive Honda pressure washer and other miscellaneous items. He has admitted, via text message, to having these items and promised to return them. It has been almost a year now and has not returned them and is not responding to my text messages. Taking and keeping what is not yours I believe is stealing. In my opinion Gail is a thief. FRAUD: I paid him close to $900 as part of the contract to insure my 4 cars, one a classic, and all of my personal belongings and furniture. During the move one of my cars had paint damage and other items were broken or damaged. I requested an insurance claim form for the damages. His response was that he failed to pay the insurance premium and now he has no insurance. So, what happened to my $900 insurance payment to him? In my opinion this is fraud. LIAR: He promised to send me an insurance claim form which he has not done so to date and now we know why not. He frequently promises you one thing and fails to fulfill what he has promised. In my opinion Gail is a liar. For more detailed information you may want to review my complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau of Salt Lake City, Utah. Complaint dated, 6/7/ 2023

Moving is stressful, and can be harmful for the unprofessional. I have moved several times in this…read morelifetime often with well known moving companies (Mayflower, Atlas, Bekins) independently and company moves. Nothing gets the heart rate pumping harder than just the anticipation of moving. My move was unexpected, but once it was proving to be a truth, I needed a local mover FAST, CONVENIENT, PROFESSIONAL that could deliver. Majesty Moving (transitioning from Crown Moving, St George) came highly recommended by many in the community. They provided packers (I was rehabbing from hospitalization and not much help) whom I had to trust with my many collectibles, furnishings and everyday STUFF. I was totally dependent on Majesty getting me from point A to point B in ONE (uno, singular) piece. Packers arrived the day before the move and reduced my walls, closets, and cabinets to boxes, tape, wrapping and plastic wrap. They packed and stacked. The heavy lifting arrived the following day (on time, everyone was on time) and the movers within hours had the truck packed, and were headed the 3.2 miles to my new home. Organized clients make for an organized move. No matter how big or small. As long as everyone communicates and are on the same page, the endeavor will be a success. Plans do come together. I am still surprising myself as boxes are unpacked. But I did find a box from my 2006 move from New York to Utah. The shredder, you think? As Carlos says, SAVE, DONATE, TOSS. We all have way too much stuff and downsizing is good. 4 Stars as they find their way through the transition. With tenacity, hard work, and heart this team will build a company they and the community can be proud of. Best of luck.

Majesty movers was timely and the crew were hard workers but a few things were broken- first my Curio cabinet glass panel which I was told I could go to a glass store and get replaced (on my dime) Carlos- part owner (?) did promise to take care of our designer lights in which one of the globes broke. There are 2 lamps with 3 frosted globes each - one broke that Carlos said he'd get fixed, but he took all 6 globes so I can't use either lamp. They were expensive and no longer available so I'm screwed. Why did he take all of them?? I've tried to contact Alyson (owner?) a number of times and she said she'd have Carlos contact me, which he hasn't and now Alyson ignores my calls as well. What a shame - they could have gotten a great rating but I'd certainly not recommend to anyone now.
