Last year I went to a different group where I rarely had the same therapist. I was in a large room with no privacy and often left without guidance or attention. This does not happen with Dominic. Because of insurance I had not seen him for many years. It got to the point where I didn't care if I had to pay out of pocket so I returned to the group and Physical Therapist who had helped me after several surgeries. At this place you get care from the same person each time so you don't have to explain what is going on with a new person all the time. There are public and private rooms which makes the experience more comfortable. Dominic knows what he is doing. I don't feel like he is giving me a cookie cutter plan. He really listens. He has been able to help me figure out where some really awful pain was originating from and addressing it properly. He watches and is attentive for each session as opposed to other places where a therapist had more than one patient at a time and often didn't remember what you were supposed to be there for. I am so lucky to be back in his care. My pain level has significantly decreased and I am able to increase and resume activities I thought might be lost to me forever. I am also grateful that they are now taking my insurance plan. I don't worry that I may actually get injured by my physical therapy as had happened several times in the past with other places. It is so nice to trust the person you are working with. This is the first time in many years that I have hope for leading a less painful life and resuming things that broke my heart to give up. If you are looking for a great physical therapist and place I recommend it highly.

I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Vernon location staff. From Aggie, Kristen, and Maureen at the front desk, assistants Tim, Tyler, and Justine, and the physical therapists. I have only directly worked with Rory, with some time with Denise, but you can see how all the PTs treat their patients. All patients are treated with respect in a very friendly, open atmosphere. Personally, I'm thrilled with the effectiveness of my therapy and the responsiveness of my therapist, Rory. I'm supported, encouraged, listened to, and most importantly, I'm healing! The facilities are modern, clean, and well maintained. There is ample parking in a safe location. Having Rein's Deli and a Chinese restaurant right there, as well as a used book store, a consignment shop and a several other shops in the plaza is a plus if you're well enough.

They are kind and compassionate, but most importantly, they are knowledgeable and patient. They exhaust all non invasive treatments before suggesting surgery - they truly want what's best for the patient. Even better is the fact most of the less invasive options (ablation, injections, etc) are done right in office, allowing for continuity of care and more expediency. I was a very anxious patient leading up to my surgery and my multiple repeated questions were answered with care and compassion. I had multiple visits with the surgeon (Dr. Eisler) before settling on surgery and feeling truly comfortable because of a less than optimal previous spine surgery (different dr). He was an active listener and participant in my care the entire time. He reassured me he would meet with as many times as necessary to make sure I felt comfortable and educated on my condition and needed surgery. I'm happy to say the majority of my pain is gone post surgery (4 months) and I have my life back. I can't thank Dr, Eisler and his team enough. She's professional, explaining the why & how of every part of my treatment plan. Her knowledge is vast, and she is just such a nice person who is genuinely helping me move, stretch, realign, and have less pain. The service was so bad and rude that I didn't even make it to the first appointment. First, a long…read morewait on hold to schedule. Then, the person makes a tentative appointment and says someone will call to get the insurance information and confirm. So I asked what if nobody calls. She said don't worry because they don't charge for missed appointments. I found that to be unusually good service so I confirmed it. She said that she knows other places do that, but they don't do it there. Then, days went by and nobody called. Then suddenly I received a text saying I had an appointment the next day, and to reply to confirm, and that if I miss my appointment, I'll be charged! This was so rude! And the opposite of what the person I talked to said. So I texted back saying that I don't have an appointment. I received a response saying they don't receive incoming texts! So they texted me asking for a response, but they don't receive responses! So I had to call to cancel the appointment that I didn't have! Then another long wait on hold. Then the person told me they do charge for missed appointments, and the previous representative gave me incorrect information. So I asked who the person was who scheduled an appointment that I didn't make, and gave me incorrect information. She said they don't know who she was. They don't have records of that! Then she kept asking me if I want to keep my appointment, after I repeatedly told her that I don't have one, and can't come at that time. She kept repeating the same question. Finally I hung up. The therapists - Brian, Glen and Jamie are professional, friendly and have good senses of humor. I have never been able to describe therapy as fun, but that is what my sessions were. I have benefited tremendously from their treatments. My physical therapist was excellent. However, Ivy will not allow you to communicate with them via…read moreemail or text to cancel or postpone an appointment. They will let you PAY YOUR BILL via text or email to a link. They will even let you CONFIRM your appointment via text. But if you try to cancel via text or email, you get bounce-back "non deliverable" messages. I then called 32 hours before an appointment to cancel and left a message. They called me back to try to reschedule, but did not cancel my appointment even though they confirmed getting my cancellation message. They then later billed me for a missed appointment fee. I hope my therapist switches to a place that is not just a money-grab facility. She deserves better.

As an avid rugby player (20+ years) I needed the expertise of the office to address issues with my shoulder and then, after a work place injury that severely damaged my left knee, I witnessed first hand the amazing talents of this practice. With Orthopedic Sports Specialists, it is not just about an in and out surgery. More appropriately, you bring them the problem and then the "team" goes to work. In house Xray technology, extremely talented surgeons and then, to complete the recovery, one of the best Physical Therapy teams that I have ever encountered. The team approach means that patient care is directed by the surgeon every step of the way - in fact. Dr. Merrill, one of the three orthopods, routinely would confer with the in house physical therapists to assure clear direction for speedy recovery. In the spring of 2026, I had a complete knee replacement. Many of my colleagues had gone through knee replacement surgery and what they experienced was hospital stays, wheel chairs and crutches. Because of this group's dynamic approach. I not only walked out of the operating room, I was in physical therapy the next morning in the office with a very quick recovery. Truly remarkable when you consider how badly injured I was with intense pain every time I walked. Now, some months later, I am still in awe at the care and treatment I received and I am walking normally with very little scarring. What a great place - a paramount of care and concern!
