They are clearly committed to total customer satisfaction in every aspect of their business. We installed flooring in a large family room and also had three hardwood floors sanded and refinished. We had a problem with the new flooring that was due to a manufacturer defect. Westwood contacted the manufacturer, replaced the problem boards and reduced the overall fee as compensation, basically returning the manufacturer's rebate. Several years later we had a wear problem on one of the other refinished floors that was likely our fault due to our Labrador retriever. After promptly coming out when contacted, Westwood's management said that "the stain should have held up better regardless" and refinished and restrained the floor at no charge. This is purely amazing service, with a total commitment to quality. I very highly recommend them!

Andy Payne has been our contractor since 2007 when we bought a fixer-upper. The project was done in…read morethree phases. The first phase was a gut renovation on the house, including all new electric wiring and plumbing and conversion from oil to propane. We completely renovated one bathroom and created a second in what was a small bedroom. Custom stone work on the outside of the house and new cement-based shingles on the house. New wide oak flooring throughout the first floor, new kitchen, an elevator, a partially finished basement rec room and extraordinary details throughout, such as custom woodworking in many rooms. After the first phase, I wasn't interested in estimates from any other contractors. This was my responsibility to oversee, as my husband didn't have the time to deal with the details. I was extremely pleased that Andy listened to me and more importantly, not only heard what I was saying, but also discussed it in a way that was professional and thoughtful. The end result of our many discussions led to a perfect result. The second phase was an addition to the main floor adding a new master bedroom suite, laundry room and front entrance. The third phase was a pool and pool house. The pool house has a stone façade, cedar interior, shower and changing room, two-piece powder room, custom benches, storage and space for a refrigerator. The attached pavilion has a cedar ceiling, gas lighting (also around the pool decking). We had unexpected drainage issues and these were dealt with quickly and thoroughly We appreciate of the high level of sub-contractors Andy retains; and their sensitivity and deference to someone's living space, especially during phase two. What could have been a very difficult period of having the addition put on with the daily presence of workers was surprisingly easy. They were all gentlemen and very neat. We admire the craftsmanship of our home everyday and are so grateful for Andy's expertise and professionalism. I very heartily recommend him.
