He got to us the same day. Was honest about our situation and fair about the price. I'd definitely use this business again.

I bought an LG electric range from JTs back in Nov 2024. Within a month JTs was out 3x to fix this…read morebrand-new range. New sensor didn't work, recalibrating oven temp x2 didn't work. It was obvious from the start that the stove was unreliable and unpredictable. It was too hot and burned a lot of food. Also, in January, a small flame developed while cooking Italian sausage. Mr JT said he fixed the oven, but clearly, he did not since it continued to burn cookies, pies etc. I especially did not like how I was treated (not returning calls in a timely manner and having to call to remind JTs to return my calls). JTs eventually offered to pay me half of what the stove cost. However, I thought this was an unfair bargain, and I requested full reimbursement which he was unwilling to give. I had bought 2 appliances in the past and thought my loyalty would count for something. Current news has informed us that over 500K LG stoves were recalled recently due to safety problems and fires. I eventually was reimbursed by LG. I would go to Whitco in Spencer MA, or Bousquet in Willimantic. Both have nice salespeople and Whitco said they would have taken the stove back if it was as problematic as that LG.

Time to paid the bill and he quoted me over 200.00. I told the technician that I was quoted 159.00. He said because it was a front loader it was 189.00 plus tax. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a women and a senior citizen. I will never call or do business with Marc's appliances again. I don't like being cheated.

My experience was classic bait and switch. Ordered a 48" range online at an excellent (but not…read moreunique) price, website claimed it was in stock and that I would need to pick it up at their West Hartford warehouse. Got a confirmation E-mail stating order would be "processed once payment was confirmed" (odd, since CC payments are generally automated these days). Next day, I got what appeared to be an automated E-mail (no name or phone number, DoNotReply sender) stating that their "policy" was that I would need to come to their store in person to confirm identity & credit card, and that the item was a special order (not in stock after all, I guess!). Since it's a 4-hour drive each way, going there twice defeats the purpose of an online order... When I called to try to clear things up, "Jack" told me the item was not in stock and that there appeared to be a pricing error (more alarm bells start up in my head). After consulting with his manager, he did call me back, to tell me that the part number is not on the Kitchenaid site, so they can't even order it, and they don't have it in stock. I just went back on their site, and they still list that exact part number listed (KFID948SJP), but at a much, much higher price, of course. When I expressed my displeasure and asked to speak to a manger, it went to voice mail. The only excuse offered was "the website is pretty automated". I get that mistakes happen, but reputable stores make some effort to make it right with the customer. A retail store is responsible for their advertised pricing.

Watch out for Home Depot, they have some built-in scams: I ordered enough carpet to receive "free"…read moreinstallation. After I placed the order, I wanted to confirm the yardage and come to find out they added on four extra yards to my order to the tune of over $400. After some heated inquiry, I found that the reason they added the extra yardage on my order was to offset the "free" installation. I canceled the order and went to Lowe's and got much better treatment. I will never shop at Home Depot again. I'm sick and tired of sleazy practices. There's a lovely hardware store near me, Mansfield Supply, which has almost everything and you get personal service, good quality, and fair prices. That's where I will shop for all my hardware needs from now on. I'm finished with Home Depot.

I picked it out and put it on my charge card only to just now be told it was a special order door and I can not cancel the order and it won't be seeing at the store until September 27th and then we could set up a delivery and install date. Do not do any major work through this Home Depot. This is crazy I should of gone to Lowes. And no one can explain how a in stock door became a special order door. I am so angry I spend a lot of money here and won't ever go here again
