We even had a situation where the quote for the solar was based on the legacy roofing material, but when the owner realized that the new, eco-friendly material was different and would incur more expense offered to pay ALL THE DIFFERENCE. We contacted Connected Technology to install our Tesla charger. This included having to replace our electrical panel as well as all the circuit breakers, as our panel was very, very old and had been recalled by the manufacturer (I knew this before I contacted Connected Technology). Prior to this, I had received a quote from another Tesla-approved installer. Connected Technology was several thousand dollars lower than that other quote. Connected Technology took care of arranging for PG&E to come by, as well as getting the city permit. The installers arrived exactly at the time the company arranged with us. We recently moved into a new house and had several projects that required an electrician. These guys came highly recommended, and they were wonderful! Everyone we worked with, from the electricians to the office staff, were super professional and knowledgeable. We hired Connected Technologies to wire a 240 line all the way across the house (through the attic) to our kitchen in order to install an induction range (we converted from gas to electric). We also had them install a Tesla charger in the garage and had them install a new outlet in the bathroom by the toilet for a bidet. Lastly, we had them do a junction box install at our old house. They worked with us to coordinate all of this so efficiently, plus they applied for our SMUD rebate for us for the EV charger. They took care of all permitting - all we had to do was be home for the city inspector. Our 240 line install was not at an easy job, but because they knew what they were doing, they did great! We were so incredibly impressed with these folks. And their prices were very fair. Worth every penny! We will absolutely use CT whenever we need electrical work to be done. read more

What impresses me most about CT, is the communication. They were able to get me an earlier appointment. Prior to the appointment, they emailed and texted reminders of arrival and who would be installing equipment, and then again as they are en route. We are completely connected now with a state of the art security camera system with multiple monitors, electronic front door lock, Front door monitored video and recording, automatic lights in the inside and outside and automatic garage door openers. And all are controlled from our cell phone application. Wow! I wasn't at all interested in the "Costco" type of security camera system, which I did, at one time, purchase and Bill was on it to make this happen. After doing some intense research, I knew exactly what I wanted and they were able to obtain and install the perfect system we needed for our home. Although it was a special order, Bill made it happen and the result was just what we needed for our home. Guests to our home often comment on what a great security system we have. Bill made sure all our systems were up and running to our specifications and was always available via text, e-mail, or phone if I had any questions or concerns. For a GM Ultium Powerup level 2 charger installation, Qmerit referred us to Connected Technology. Randi was efficient and quote response time was fast. Two weeks after we accepted the quote, Aiden and Lance finished the installation quickly. I've been in our attic and know the tight space well. The 75 foot cable run from the main power panel to the garage was not trivial, but they were done in about 5 hours, cleaned up in the garage and inside the attic access area and helped with getting the charger and smartphone app to sync ... all while being friendly, personable and professional. And the charger works great, too! Going through the GM/Qmerit process likely cost more, but Connected Technology was lower price than at least one other service provider. read more
