On a whim visiting family, I decided to give a new groomer's a shot. Her prices were comparable to what I would expect from anywhere locally, and definitely cheaper than urban areas. She was very friendly and it was easy to get scheduled within a few days. I appreciated simply being able to just text or speak directly with her. The location is convenient - downtown, but with plenty of parking space in free lot. It is close enough to walk to Montezuma's, and a short drive to run errands at Martin's, CVS, Truist, Post Office, etc. The business is inside of a little strip mall. Her salon space is very, very clean and tidy. You can see into what appears to be the main grooming area. In comparison to both PetsMart and small/private groomer's I was impressed... In the best way possible, it did not sound or smell like a dog groomer's. It was quiet. She was grooming a gorgeous Husky when I came inside. She was completing some artistic styling with multi-colored sections of the coat with stars, etc. I know nothing about the technique used, but the design was crisp and neat. I was equally impressed that the dog was so relaxed and comfortable having her complete this. My own terrier wasn't terrified when I left, nor did he have Puppy Traumatic Stress Disorder when I returned for him. He looked great - this was definitely the best haircut + claw care that he has ever had. He has a soft and dark coat, but he looked gorgeous with an ideal, breed-specific style. The price felt like a good value - I was very satisfied both in her pleasantness and professionalism all around. Finally, despite having seen her 3 weeks ago and in summer, my dog smells beautiful. I have no idea what products specifically she used in grooming him, but it's miraculous. He didn't have any skin irritation or dander afterwards, nor does he smell "perfumed." Just clean-smelling, soft fur. I would take him back just for the smell of the shampoo alone... So, all in all, I would definitely recommend her services without reservations. The whole experience and quality of his grooming, AND ease of scheduling, cleanliness, and smell were outstanding. I plan on trying to coordinate future appointments for when I'm in town and able.

Angie was very accommodating making an early appointment to suit my work schedule. Olivia had her belly shaved and her mane trimmed. Angie talked to Olivia a lot calling her a pretty girl and good girl. Olivia is a friendly girl and had all her teeth removed (dental problem)and front claws had also been removed. I think that she would be an easy client. I really appreciated the fact that Angie talked to Olivia easing her angst about being in new surroundings and getting her belly shaved. The experience was very positive. Thank you, Angie, for taking such care with Olivia. We both appreciated the care that was shown to my longhair domestic.

Seeing the same faces for years is also a great sign of stability. It was sold recently but I feel the new owner is making the place even better. My dogs are my babies and I am careful about where they stay. You can tour it and see for yourself, it's a good sign when a kennel lets you tour it. I was a bit sad that she didn't look back, but she was running toward people who genuinely care about her and take care of her. They're very professional and knowledgeable about dogs. You will always feel comfortable leaving your dog with them. When Chichi had a minor health concern, they called me very quickly and let me know what was going on. I was able to take her to the vet that day. They even followed up and called me to make sure she was doing okay.
