The maintenance is terrible. The painted-over walls have stuck hair, spiders, and nails. The bathroom gets moldy since it doesn't have the correct paint for it, and the caulk is not there. They won't remove a handicap sign that was built in temporarily for a student who moved out a year ago, even though we already have a spot in the lot that no one parks in anyway. We have put in many emergency maintenance requests, and they came a month later. They say there are over 100 work orders, but you'll see maintenance come back from a vacation and sit in front of their complex smoking. You get ZERO amenities, the gym is terrible, the game room that is open "24 hours" is the basketball court, which is outside. There is no pool, events, or study areas. The amount you pay for rent, with all the issues, is unbelievable. Honestly, just read all of these reviews because I could go on and on about why Canvas Townhomes do not care about their residents.

I should have left after the first year. My second year was a total nightmare. First of all I had neighbors who kept harassing me throwing ice at my window at 2 in the morning repeatedly. The complex made no effort to investigate or move me to another unit even when I was also having issues with my roommates too. Secondly, I had a piece of vinyl siding that came loose during a winter storm. It kept knocking against my window and keeping me up at night not to mention my unit looked like total shit with siding coming off. I put in a service request online and let management know about it but nothing. I even drove back 2 years after I moved out just to see and the siding is still missing in that spot!!!! LOL. I finally said fuck it and moved out after having issues with my roommates, multiple neighbors, and management. The only thing good I will say is that they allowed me out of my lease early due to all the complaints. But other people may not get as lucky.

It is the 13th, and we have JUST been informed that there will be pavement work on the parking lot in front of our building for the next two days. We now have to carry all of our furniture to the front parking lots all the way to our cars while they do this work. Let it be mentioned that we are not allowed to move out early either, or we will be fined. They don't want to pay for it. Then, they asked me bunch of bs via email and I responded all their queries back to back immediately. Finally, they asked me to share my HR or Boss email. I responded promptly with requested details (it was almost closing hour). Next day, early morning, they email me saying that they have rented the apartment to someone else.
