Not only is…read moreit a very cute and comfortable place to live, the service from all of their staff is fantastic. Each person I have met goes out of their way to make living here truly feel like home. I have gotten to know members of the leasing staff and the maintenance crew personally and can say that I greatly appreciate each and every one of them! Outside of these factors, meadows offers a variety of amenities that I have been very appreciative of throughout my time here. Whether it be the pool and hot tub, the study lounge, or the gym, each is available to all residents and makes living here just that much better! Additionally, new things have been added while I have been here, such as the package delivery room. This adds an element of convenience as well as security in knowing that your packages are stored safely until you can receive them. As a whole, Meadows Crossing creates a community and a home-like atmosphere for you to live in. Whether it is by meeting new neighbors, going to holiday parties, or taking advantage of the events the complex puts on (such as nacho fridays, summer pool parties, and resident appreciation days), living at Meadows guarantees that every experience here is a great one!

When I first came here I was surprised by how nice this place was compared to other Gvsu area…read morehousing complexes and it was affordable so I signed a lease. I should have left after the first year. My second year was a total nightmare. First of all I had neighbors who kept harassing me throwing ice at my window at 2 in the morning repeatedly. The complex made no effort to investigate or move me to another unit even when I was also having issues with my roommates too. Secondly, I had a piece of vinyl siding that came loose during a winter storm. It kept knocking against my window and keeping me up at night not to mention my unit looked like total shit with siding coming off. I put in a service request online and let management know about it but nothing. I even drove back 2 years after I moved out just to see and the siding is still missing in that spot!!!! LOL. I finally said fuck it and moved out after having issues with my roommates, multiple neighbors, and management. The only thing good I will say is that they allowed me out of my lease early due to all the complaints. But other people may not get as lucky.

The breakdown seemed to be in their automated billing system, which didn't match with what the management would tell you. While they didn't match me with people I liked, I was able to share space. Lots of parties in the complex, and litterbugs, like you would expect in a college town. All bills were settled, and my deposit returned, to my satisfaction - with only a little work on my part. Where do I begin... First off, my room mate and I were…read morecharged for an entire month of rent in August. Our move in date wasnt until half way through the month. A week before we moved we received an email saying we couldnt move in due to "repairs". We were not allowed to move in until the 20th, and we could find no noticeable repairs.. Through out the year they also charged my room mate for random things that the girls at the office said they would not charge her for...when she called Eddie to get it all straightened out, he bribed her. He said if she left a nice review, he would drop all of the random, unexplainable charges. I'm sorry but that is just NOT how you run a business. The most irritating thing so far is that we move out on July 15th. It is the 13th, and we have JUST been informed that there will be pavement work on the parking lot in front of our building for the next two days. We now have to carry all of our furniture to the front parking lots all the way to our cars while they do this work. Let it be mentioned that we are not allowed to move out early either, or we will be fined. So now we will literally have to walk our beds and couch and all of it across the entire property or we will be fined. I would absolutely never recommend this apartment to anyone.
