They gave us the choice of the bar or the lounge sofa and table we chose the sofa. We were super hungry and delighted they had seafood. The salmon and shrimp were cooked well, the sauce tasty and the potatoes delicious. The bread service was outstanding with an olive tapenade, olive oil, goat cheese, and herbed butter. My sister said the spinach dip was good but was really unhappy with the dressing served with the caesar. That said the tiger shrimp she enjoyed. The service was professional and they were pretty busy (small town, weekend, dinner time). I would come back when in the area again.

We split the double cheeseburger, which had great flavor, and a side Caesar salad that was huge, I can't imagine the size of the entrée salad. Service was friendly and attentive. We finished with the chocolate chip cookie skillet, which was warm and gooey with good ice cream (next time I might ask for it a little crispier). Pricing is what you'd expect for Aspen ($$$), but the portions are generous so it felt worth it. We'd definitely come back.

We came by for lunch and some drinks. The tap beer list is quite disappointing with only about 6 brews with Coors and Coors Light being two of them. The wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was battered chicken strips that (as she put it) didn't remind her of buffalo chicken. She actually added Tabasco for added spice. I got the smoked beef sandwich which arrived lightly toasted and well dressed with both horseradish and truffle aiolis. The beef was nice and tender but for 15$ kinda lacked substance and smoke flavor. The fries and onion rings were very good and well seasoned.

The ambience is awesome...décor is western/rustic meets comfy. The cozy leather couch and two side chairs in front of the fireplace is such a nice space! Their wine & whiskey menu was very enticing, but we opted for some tasty Chardonnay. We didn't order any food, but they've got some yummy looking charcuterie boards...next time for sure! Overall I really dug this place and wholeheartedly welcome them to the Montrose community! Y'all know how much I love to support my local businesses! :-) Check them out! You won't be disappointed!

That's not an exaggeration, I timed it. Their menu has an extensive list of Colorado whiskeys but no descriptions of the flavor profile. There wasn't much of an explanation behind their suggestion and no tasting notes. Not surprisingly, it wasn't great. I had planned to stay awhile for a few drinks but between that and the awkward empty vibe, I waited (another long wait) for the check and left. I hate to leave a bad review for a small business but this one just missed the mark completely.

So we got the $14 cheese pizza and $12 margarita. The margarita was 5 stars for flavor - strong and tasty, low ball glass. 4 stars for value. The pizza was 2 stars because it was edible but think like high school cafeteria pizza. The sauce was not very good and the cheese was cheap and greasy. The served it with red pepper flakes and some pre-grated parm, it needed that just for the flavor. Seemed like a $5 dollar gas station pizza not a $14 happy hour pizza that's normally sold for more - so 1 star when value is considered. Come for a drink - don't get the pizza. The servers were nice and service was quick.
