They told me that it was painless, quick, and simply the best. And they had a cancellation and were able to pencil me in same day! The woman I spoke with was also giving me a break down of insurance things trying to help me save money, but in the end I decided to bite the bullet and come in. Dr Berg had friendly bedside manner, I was told exactly what was going to happen step by step to calm my nerves, but since I had come from a dentist that didn't refer him, he did a sensitivity test which actually showed a different tooth was more sensitive to pain than the one I was brought in to get checked out for. He asked more questions to try to see what was going on and we ended up not having to do a root canal. He gave his recommendations and so far I haven't felt any pain since. He saved me from spending almost $1k since it's the end of the year my insurance was capped so it all would have been out of pocket. I may need to see him later if this doesn't continue to work, so I will update my review if that is the case or if later down the line I'll need a root canal. But I definitely don't understand why there are poor reviews on here...

I don't know about you but anyone that sticks a drill in my head...I'd kinda like to feel comfortable with. And then I saw the not so great reviews on him at Google. Now I'm seriously freaked out. But he takes my insurance and my dentist really wants me to go him. Just got done and I gotta tell ya, no big deal. Dr. Berg isn't a chatty cathy by any means but he explained what he was going to do thoroughly . From start to finish I was in and out in 45 minutes. Not too shabby for a broken back molar in need of a root canal. It was super helpful that he told me to close my eyes and that I needed to raise my hand if I needed him to stop or if I was in pain. His staff were very nice and totally efficient as well. I certainly hope I don't need another root canal in the future but if I do, I will definitely go back to Dr. Berg.

Dr. Berg works on 5-10 patients at a time like on a conveyor belt. He is extremely rude, dismissive and unprofessional. As a result of Dr. Berg's slip up during his "drill hammer" super quick epicoectomy procedure - my root canal was punctured a year ago and now I have CHRONIC inflammation that will never go away. Please avoid this office like the plague.

Their reply was "Ok we will remove this appointment from their schedule per my request, I never requested the appointment to be removed, I told them that I made the appointment, and I WILL BE THERE. They have lost a customer of around 8yrs because they have a tight scheduled and have a long waiting list, so they send a threating text. I would give them a zero if I could.

After reading other reviews that all indicated how quick and relatively pain free this procedure was at Sage Endododontics, and reminding myself I've had two total knee replacements, with months of pain, I assured myself that this wasn't going to be too bad. I was still nervous about it. I shouldn't have been. From the time I called for an appointment to the actual root canal, everything went smoothly. The staff couldn't have been nicer, or the process easier. When I called for the appointment I was told since I had no dental insurance that the cost would be $1700 and that was all inclusive. I arrived early, and was told that the person scheduled before me never showed up, so I was taken earlier than my appointment time. First, they took some x-rays in the chair, and then led me to an adjacent room where they took 360 degree x-rays. I returned to the chair and the assistant put the x-rays on a small illuminated viewer for Dr. Corretjer to review. (They referred to her by her middle name, Dr. Garcia). She came in a few minutes later and looked at the x-rays and asked me if I had any questions. I only had one, "How long will the procedure take?" She said, "About 20 minutes." Amazing! I was offered a blanket, which I accepted, as well as watching Netflix or the HG channel while the procedure was done. I decided just to close my eyes and try to relax while it happened. I was told by the assistant that if I felt any pain to raise my hand, and if I needed them to suction any excess salava to raise my index finger. During the root canal I didn't have either of those things happen. They put what looked like dark sunglasses over my regular glasses and then Dr. Garcia applied some numbing gel to my gums. Then she injected the local anesthetic in 3 spots around the affected tooth. Even the injections were about half the pain I remembered having when I had a crown installed years ago. My root canal only took 20 minutes as predicted by Dr. Garcia. Other than the numbing injections, it was completely painless. When it was done, they took a few more x-rays in the chair, and that was that. I was given a sheet of post operative instructions, and told I could return in a year for a complimentary follow-up exam. I was directed to contact my dentist to have a permanent filling put in within 2-4 weeks. If you need a root canal I highly recommend Sage Endodontics as the place to have it done. I had a five star experience there.
