We had maybe about 15-18 kids Face painted in 2 hours. I would highly recommend and would book her again. If you have a big party more then 20 faces to paint I suggest you hire a couple face paint artist or hire for more then 2 hours. Make sure there is adequate shade for the artist. I had a 20x30 tent with alot of room and thought that be good enough but the sun was moving in on her work area towards end time. Not sure what's her name, but she was an older Caucasian lady. They were there for about 3 hours or so and never once did I see a line to get a balloon. Probably because 1 of many reasons.... 1. I witnessed one of my nephews trying to get a balloon and he had to explain to the lady why he was getting another one. **he should not have to explain to the lady why he needs another balloon. The balloons are unlimited for 3 hours! There wasn't a line. The lady was just sitting there. 2. My friend told me that she had to help my other 5 year old nephew get a balloon because the balloon twister refused to help him since she was unable to make the balloon he wanted. She just so happened to be next to the vendor and heard her tell him to "go get your mommy". Instead of showing him the balloon folder of what she could make, she just refused to make him a balloon. My friend went over to help him pick one from the folder of pictures . **I don't understand why she couldn't just show him the balloon folder to begin with... maybe she just didn't want to deal with him. AGAIN, there was no line. ** 3. My daughter has a whole lot to say about the balloon lady. She kept saying how rude she was... We hired Color Whims for our son's first birthday. We booked a package that included a live band,…read morelight MCing, face painting and balloons. We were in corespondence with Kelly who was helpful in getting us the package we needed. We also got a 10 percent discount from Yelp! Kelly was our point person and helped coordinate our timeline. She also was the laision with the band. Before the party, I sent her the script and timeline. On the day of the party, the band showed up to set up at 10a for our 11a party. They said they thought they started at 1030a. I said they started at 11:30 a.m. Kelly (Balloon artist) and face painter came onsite at just about 11a. One major disappointment I had was that the MC refused to facilitate our script. We thought it was farily light and simple, including directions to the bathroom, where the rubbish is, then calling up various people to help facilitate the program and games. Luckily, my sister in law stepped in and did the MCing. The quality of the balloons was excellent, as well as the face painting. The live band was REALLY good, loud, and brought excellent energy to the party. Everyone complimented us on the entertainment. Eddie, the band leader, brought us a screen and projector for our slideshow. It went off without a hitch. The band continued to play until after most of our guests left. Unfortunately when they took their break, most of our guests started leaving. In hindsight, I would have everyone sang happy birthday a little later so people stuck around to hear their second set. Also, I asked the face painter if we could make announcement that they would be closing in 15 minutes and she said no because people will line up for their face painting/balloon. I thought that was the point. But, oh well. Maybe people luckily got their face painted and balloon early. Overall, it was a little disorganized, but it came together and was a nice party.
