Occasionally I think they also post on Too Good to Go which is a great sustainability initiative. Food: purchased a lemon bar and chocolate chip cookie. I was told the lemon bar was good, I had the chocolate chip cookie and it was the perfect texture -not too hard or too soft. It had a good amount of chocolate chips and was quite large compared to other cookies. Service: Met the owner and she was so nice. Definitely someone worth supporting.

The owner was very sweet and welcoming, and she offered a sample of a pecan bar, which had good flavor and made for a nice first impression. As a self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, I went with two cupcakes (Lemon and Vanilla) and a 3-count of tea cakes. The tea cakes had good size and density, and the flavor was decent, but they were missing the sweetness I associate with more traditional versions, something closer to homemade or A&K Cakes, if you know, you know. The cupcakes were flavorful and definitely on the dense side. I preferred the vanilla thanks to the Nutella cream filling, which was a nice surprise. That said, at $5 per cupcake, it's not something I'd splurge on regularly. Overall, Chic Sweets has potential, and I appreciated the warm service, but for the price, I was hoping for a little more wow factor in the desserts.

Beyond the delicious treats, the warm, family-friendly atmosphere makes this place truly special. Seeing their little daughter running around the store reminded me of going to work with my mom when I was young, which made my visit even more meaningful. I received a dozen beautifully crafted cookies for my graduation from A&M, and they were absolutely stunning. I was so impressed that I ordered two dozen more for my friend, the Fort Bend County Commissioner, and the outcome was fantastic! The attention to detail and presentation were flawless. I haven't ordered a cake yet, but after experiencing the incredible quality of their cookies, I absolutely plan to. Highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for top-tier treats with a personal touch!

Pastel Boutique to the rescue!! They came highly recommended, and I can absolutely see why. They were very responsive in their Facebook messages and not once did they make me feel bad for the short notice. They were very helpful in deciding what size we needed and upfront about the cost and everything that comes with it. The flavor options they provide feel endless! I had such a hard time choosing because so many of them sounded amazing. I had to keep reminding myself it was for my brother and not me because there were so many I wanted to selfishly try! They delivered EXACTLY what I wanted, and the cake turned out just like the inspiration photo I sent. I was a little nervous when it came time for the celebration, because in my past experiences when a cake looks great it doesn't usually taste too good. I was BLOWN AWAY by how yummy this cake was. The icing looked like fondant, but it wasn't. It was so so so much better! I've already told my husband that I want this bakery to do my own birthday cake this year! For anyone curious, we ended up choosing the cookie dough flavor and it was incredible! I'm looking forward to visiting the bakery in person and trying their other items. Now I'll be the one in the FB groups recommending them!

Rollin, rollin, rollin!…read more Oh my goodness! I was feeling quite down because I had to pay bills, and the math left me with only cents, no dollars. As I was walking the lot of LA DOUGH SWEETS, I kept smelling sweats. I looked around and there it was, La Dough Sweets, like a mirage in the desert. I first peeked in the window and saw Mrs. D smiling at me like Grandma who hadn't seen her granddaughter in a few months. I went inside and we started chatting about how she had started her cookie business and the types of cookies she offered. My goodness, my sweet tooth was begging me for some cookies in one ear, while diabetes was rubbing its hands at me in the other. Diabetes won, and my sweet tooth called me a punk. Satisfaction, however, said, "It's okay, just flush it out with plenty of water." Her cookies are so much better than Crumble Cookies who now I will cheat on with La Dough Sweets. Just look at my pictures and the huge smile on my face. Here today, Yelping tomorrow!
